< 1 P'et'ros 2 >

1 Eshe gond jámo, dirsh jamo, ats dáro, okooro, konnari óóno wokiwere,
Wherefore, laying aside all maliciousnes, and all guile, and dissimulation, and enuie, and all euill speaking,
2 And shuwets na'auots ez gooro bo tewnfok'o itwere kashon eenfere it amish s'ayin wotts shayiri dano tewnwere.
As newe borne babes desire that sincere milke of the woorde, that yee may growe thereby,
3 Tewnosh it falitwere «Doonzo tewd doo b́ wottsok'o shashwerte wotiyale.»
Because yee haue tasted that the Lord is bountifull.
4 Mansh beyar beetk shúts wottso doonzo Iyesus maants t'inere, shútsanwere ashuwots gac'at bok'ztso, Ik'oknomó bín b́ marat'etsonat mangits k'awnts detstsoniye.
To whome comming as vnto a liuing stone disallowed of men, but chosen of God and precious,
5 Doonzo Iyesus maants it t'iinet beyar beet shútsok'o Shayiri moo wotarr agewoshe, hank'on Iyesus Krstos weeron geneúshit shayiri wosho Ik'osh t'intsosh S'ayin Kahniyotsi wotitute.
Yee also as liuely stones, bee made a spirituall house, an holy Priesthoode to offer vp spirituall sacrifices acceptable to God by Iesus Christ.
6 S'ayin mas'aafotse «Hambe! marat'etsonat mang wotts Tungúshatse shútsuwotsi kaatsde detset shuuts kup' S'iyonits beezitwe, bín amanitwo b́jamon jitseratse» etts aap'o guut'eyatniye b́ fa'oni.
Wherefore also it is conteyned in the Scripture, Beholde, I put in Sion a chiefe corner stone, elect and precious: and hee that beleeueth therein, shall not be ashamed.
7 Eshe it amanirwotssh shútsan mangkee, amanerawwotsshomó «Gmbi agirwots gac'at bojuuts shútso tungúshatse shutswotsi kaatsde detset shúts kúp'o b́ woti.»
Vnto you therefore which beleeue, it is precious: but vnto them which be disobedient, the stone which the builders disallowed, the same is made the head of the corner,
8 Ando aani «Ashuwotsi gandit shútso, hambe! ashuwotssh t'ug wotar dikit shúts s'aloni» etfe. Bowere bí aap'tso amano bok'aztsosh dihitúne, shinonowere hansh beezekne.
And a stone to stumble at, and a rocke of offence, euen to them which stumble at the woorde, being disobedient, vnto the which thing they were euen ordeined.
9 Itmó t'alwotsere adits shááno maants iti s'eegts Ik'oko adits fino it nabitwok'o marat'ets shuwetswots, nugúso Kahniwots, Ik'o b́ tookosh woshb́dek'ts S'ayin ash itne.
But yee are a chosen generation, a royall Priesthoode, an holy nation, a people set at libertie, that yee shoulde shewe foorth the vertues of him that hath called you out of darkenesse into his marueilous light,
10 It bal Ik' ashuwotsiliye itteshi, andomó Ik' ashuwotsi woterte, yoots máác' k'ewo daatsatste b́ teshi, andomó máác' k'ewo daatsrte.
Which in time past were not a people, yet are nowe the people of God: which in time past were not vnder mercie, but nowe haue obteined mercie.
11 T eshwotso! datsanatsere ibwotsnat ash datsi ashuwotsi it wottsotse kashonton kaareyiru meetsi tewnotse it wokitwok'o oona itsha etirwe.
Dearely beloued, I beseeche you, as strangers and pilgrims, abstaine from fleshly lusts, which fight against the soule,
12 Daneraka «Gond finirwotsiye» err itn bo oniyaloru dab Ik'o noon s'ilosh b́ weet aawots Ik' ash woterawwots it sheeng fino be'er Ik'o bo uditwok'o bo dagotse it beyor sheeng doyo it detsetwok'owa.
And haue your conuersation honest among the Gentiles, that they which speake euill of you as of euill doers, may by your good woorkes which they shall see, glorifie God in the day of visitation.
13 Doonzo Iyesus Krstossha err ashaatsere naashts jamwotssh alewere, dambaan bogt naash b́wottsotse naashi naashosh alewere.
Therefore submit your selues vnto all maner ordinance of man for the Lordes sake, whether it be vnto the King, as vnto the superiour,
14 Dats k'eezirwotssho alewere, bo gond finirwotsi sezosh, sheeng finirwotsi udosh naashi naashoke wosheekne.
Or vnto gouernours, as vnto them that are sent of him, for the punishment of euill doers, and for the praise of them that doe well.
15 Sheengo finar dartswots bodari aap'otse s'k bo etetwok'o it k'alo Ik'i shune.
For so is the will of God, that by well doing ye may put to silence the ignorance of the foolish men,
16 Ik' guutswotskok'o wotar s'ayinon beewere bako it s'ayin beyo gondo bín ipoosh woshk'ayere.
As free, and not as hauing the libertie for a cloke of maliciousnesse, but as the seruauntes of God.
17 Ash jamo mangiwere, amants eshwotsi shunere, Ik'o sharere, nugúso mangiwere.
Honour all men: loue brotherly fellowship: feare God: honour the King.
18 Guutswotso itwere it doonz doonzosh mangiyon keewewere, it kewetwerere shengwotsnat doowwots s'uznsh b́ woterawo gondwotsshor keewewere.
Seruaunts, be subiect to your masters with all feare, not onely to the good and courteous, but also to the froward.
19 Asho s'aato b́daatsit, weeralon gondbek'o bíyats b́ bodor Ik'osha err b́ k'amitkawotiyale.
For this is thanke worthie, if a man for conscience toward God endure griefe, suffering wrongfully.
20 Gondo finar sezewo de'er it k'amiyal eegi úde it datsiti? Ernmó sheengo finar it eree gondo itbek'oor it k'amiyal Ik'oke údo daatsitute.
For what praise is it, if when ye be buffeted for your faultes, yee take it paciently? but and if when ye doe well, ye suffer wrong and take it paciently, this is acceptable to God.
21 It s'egewwor manshe, b́ jafrats it sháitwok'o Krstos itsh gondo bek'osh ariyetso wotere.
For hereunto ye are called: for Christ also suffred for you, leauing you an ensample that ye should follow his steppes.
22 Bíwere eegoru morro fineratse, b́ noonotsnowere kooto keyatse.
Who did no sinne, neither was there guile found in his mouth.
23 C'asheworowere aanidek't c'ayatse, gondo b́bek'orowere kááwon angshitwo Izar Izewersh b́ tooko oona! ett b́ imi bako sheeferatse.
Who when hee was reuiled, reuiled not againe: when hee suffered, hee threatned not, but comitted it to him that iudgeth righteously.
24 Morratse k'iron k'alewok'o k'alewon k'aleyar kááwon nobetwok'o bí b́ tookon b́ meetson no morro jitatse kur b́ dek'i, b́ gaawon kashwtserte.
Who his owne selfe bare our sinnes in his body on the tree, that we being dead to sinne, should liue in righteousnesse: by whose stripes ye were healed.
25 It t'afts mereerwotskok'o it dandefra it teshi, andomó it kashu jinirwonat kotirwok k'az aanertee.
For ye were as sheepe going astray: but are nowe returned vnto the shepheard and Bishop of your soules.
