1 Yohans 5
1 Iyesus Mesihiyo b́ wottsok'o amants jamwots Ik' nana'anee, nihono shunetu jamo naayo noowere shunfee.
Whoever believes that Jesus is the Christ has been born of God. Whoever loves the Father also loves the child who is born of him.
2 Ik' nana'úwotsi noshuntsok'o nodanetiye, Ik'o shunr b́ tzaziyo no s'entsoree.
By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God and keep his commandments.
3 Ik' shuna eto b́ tzaziyotsi s'entsee. B́ tzaziyotsu mangnaliye.
For this is loving God, that we keep his commandments. His commandments are not grievous.
4 Ik' nana'a wotts jamo datsu da'itwe, datsu no da'itwere imnetiyone.
For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world: your faith.
5 Iyesus Ik'o naayi b́ wottsok'o amantsoni bako kone datsu da'itwoni?
Who is he who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?
6 Aatsots b́ gupetsok'o kitsit aatsonat b́ k'iro kitsru s'atsi weeron waatso Iyesus Krstosiye. Bí b́waa aats mec'ron b́ woterawo aatsonat s'atsone. Hanwere ar b́ wottsotse, keewanwere ar b́wottsok'owo S'ayin shayiron gawitwe.
This is he who came by water and blood, Jesus Christ; not with the water only, but with the water and the blood. It is the Spirit who testifies, because the Spirit is the truth.
7 Keez gawwots fa'ane,
For there are three who testify:
8 Bowere Shayirona, aatsonat s'atsone, keezanotswere bogawon ikne.
the Spirit, the water, and the blood; and the three agree as one.
9 Ashuwots bo gawts gawo dek'etwonee, ernmó Ik'o gawts gawonmó jamoniyere bogfe. Ik'o b́ gawtsonwere b́ naay jangosh b́ gawtsoniyee haniye.
If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater; for this is God’s testimony which he has testified concerning his Son.
10 Ik'o naayn amantsonmó gawan b́ gitsotse fa'ee, Ik' amanerawonmó Ik'o b́ naay jangosh b́'imts gawo aman b́ k'aztsatse tuutson Ik'o kootetsi woshre.
He who believes in the Son of God has the testimony in himself. He who does not believe God has made him a liar, because he has not believed in the testimony that God has given concerning his Son.
11 B́ gawonwere Ik'o dúre dúri kasho noosh b́ imtsok'onat kashmanwere b́ naayitse b́ beyirwok'o gawirwoniyee. (aiōnios g166)
The testimony is this, that God gave to us consummate (aiōnios g166) life, and this life is in his Son.
12 Ik'o naayi detstso kasho detsfe. Ik'o naayi deshawonmó kasho deshatse.
He who has the Son has the life. He who does not have God’s Son does not have the life.
13 It Ik'o naay shútson amants jamwots dúre dúri kasho it detstsok'o it danishe han itsh guut're. (aiōnios g166)
These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have consummate (aiōnios g166) life.
14 Kon naari keewonor b́ wotiyal b́ shuntsok'on nok'onitkawotiyal noosh b́ shishetwok'o amanitwone.
This is the boldness which we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us.
15 Noo k'onts jamo b́ shishetwok'o danfonewotiyal, bíyokere nok'onts jamo andon nodek'etwok'o danfone.
And if we know that he listens to us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions which we have asked of him.
16 Konworu wotowa, ash iko bí eshu k'irosh bín betsaw morro b́ finefe b́bek'al bísh Ik'o k'onwe, ashman morro k'irosh bín betsatse wotiyal Ik'o kasho bísh imetwe. Ernmó k'irosh betsit morro fa'ee. Man naari morrosh Ik'o k'onuwe eraatse taa.
If anyone sees his brother sinning a sin not leading to death, he shall ask, and God will give him life for those who sin not leading to death. There is sin leading to death. I do not say that he should make a request concerning this.
17 Gond fin jamo morre. Wotowa eree k'irosh betsraw morro fa'ee.
All unrighteousness is sin, and there is sin not leading to death.
18 Ik' na'o Iyesus Krstos bín b́ kotirwosh Ik' na'a wotts jamo morro b́ finerawok'o danfone, Shed'anonwere bíats boratse.
We know that whoever is born of God does not sin, but he who was born of God keeps himself, and the evil one does not touch him.
19 Noo Ik'k nowottsok'o danfone. Datsunmó jamon shed'ani ali shirotse b́ fa'oni.
We know that we are of God, and the whole world lies in the power of the evil one.
20 Ik' na'o b́ wattsok'onat ari Ik'o nodanetwok'o t'iwitsts nibo noosh b́'imtsok'o danfone, b́ naay Iyesus Krstos weeron bínton ari Ik'onton ikwoto detsfone. Iyesus Krstos ari Izar Izeweru dúre dúri kashonu bíne. (aiōnios g166)
We know that the Son of God has come, and has given us an understanding, that we know the true one, and we are in the true one, in his Son, Jesus Christ. This is the true God and consummate (aiōnios g166) life.
21 T nana'otso! dozets ik'wotsatse it atso korde'ere.
Little children, keep yourselves from idols.
