1 Woteraw ik'osh shukeets meetsi janga wotiyalo arikee «No jametswor dano detsfone» b́woteferor dano ashe bogtane etee b́dofoni, shunonmó age bíagfoni.
Now concerning things sacrificed to idols: We know that we all have knowledge. Knowledge puffs up, but love builds up.
2 «Dano detsfe» ett gawiru asho fa'ewotiyal bísh dan geyiitowok'o andoor danafa'ee.
But if anyone thinks that he knows anything, he doesn’t yet know as he ought to know.
3 Ik' shunts ashonmó Ik'oke daneke b́wotiti.
But anyone who loves God is known by him.
4 Mansh woteraw ik'osh shukeets meetso meyi jango b́wotiyalo, woteraw Ik'o kasho deshaw b́wottsosh Ik' ikoniyere okoniye k'osho Izar Izewer bíaalok'owo danfone.
Therefore concerning the eating of things sacrificed to idols, we know that no idol is anything in the world, and that there is no other God but one.
5 Dab Izar Izeweri b́woterawo Izar izewerotsi ett s'eegeyirwots ayuwots Izar izewerotsnat ay doonzuwots daronat datsatse fa'ane eteyalor,
For though there are things that are called “gods”, whether in the heavens or on earth—as there are many “gods” and many “lords”—
6 Noko Izar Izewermó jam keewo aztsonat noowere bíko no wottsuwots Ik'o niho b́s'uziye, mank'owere jamkeewo bín azetsonat noowere bín nobeyirwo Doonz iko Iyesus Krstos s'uziye.
yet to us there is one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we for him; and one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom are all things, and we live through him.
7 Ernmó han dan jametswotsiyaliye, ik ikuwots han b́borfetsosh woteraw Ik'o ik'iyo bo doyo wosh bodek'tsotse meestso bomeyir woteraw ik'osh shuketsok'o woshdek'tniye, mansh bo asaabiyo maawk b́wottsosh bokiimiri.
However, that knowledge isn’t in all men. But some, with consciousness of an idol until now, eat as of a thing sacrificed to an idol, and their conscience, being weak, is defiled.
8 B́wotiyalor Ik'ok noon t'intsituwo mooniyaliye, moonok'azalor noosh shapit keewo aaliye, nomaalor noosh oot'et keew aaliye.
But food will not commend us to God. For neither, if we don’t eat are we the worse, nor if we eat are we the better.
9 Wotowa ére nas' it keshtsan imnetiyon kup'eraw ashuwotssh t'ug b́ woterawok'o it atso korde'ere.
But be careful that by no means does this liberty of yours become a stumbling block to the weak.
10 «Dano detsfe» err woshosh shúketso wosh shukeyiruwoke nmaafere b́ imnetiyon kúp'eraw asho neen b́ bek'al n fintsan ashman woshosh shuketso b́ meetuwok'o bíango n kúp'iri etosha?
For if a man sees you who have knowledge sitting in an idol’s temple, won’t his conscience, if he is weak, be emboldened to eat things sacrificed to idols?
11 Eshe nee «Dank taane» err Krstos bísh b́ k'irtsonat b́ imnetiyon kúp'eraw krstyaniyo t'afituwe etee.
And through your knowledge, he who is weak perishes, the brother for whose sake Christ died.
12 Hank'on amants it eshuwotsi dadar bo nib maawtso gaawiyon Krstosi it dadiri.
Thus, sinning against the brothers, and wounding their conscience when it is weak, you sin against Christ.
