1 Taa ashuwots noon keewon wee melakiwots handr noonon keewo falr shuno deshatse wotiyal kuhiru biri wee cicilru bilbilyo twotoniye.
Though I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have no love, I am become a clanging brass, or a clashing cymbal.
2 Bek'on keewi imo tdetsalor aashts jamo tdanalor, danjamo tdetsalor, guro beyokere k'osh beyok beshit imnetiyi jamo t detsal shuno deshatse wotiyal taash eegor k'aatse.
Though I have the gift of prophecy and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing.
3 T detsts jamo t'owwotssh t kayiyal, dab tiatso b́ ooriraniyere bín it'osha err, beshide'er ti imal, shuno t t'ut'al eegoru taash k'alatse.
And though I sell all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, but have not love, it avails me nothing.
4 Shuno k'ame b́ k'amefoni, shuno sheenge b́ k'alfoni, shuno okoorrake, shuno bog taana erake, shuno id'ake,
Love suffers long and is kind; love envies not; love makes no parade, is not puffed up,
5 Shuno niwalo finerake, shuno b́ took jang mec'ro geerake, shuno nibo k'unake, shuno bín dadeyaloru dadman dadok'o taawakee,
is not rude, nor selfish, nor easily provoked. Love bears no malice, never rejoices over wrong-doing,
6 Shuno ar wotts keewatsa b́ geneúiti bako kááw woterawonton geneúwerakee,
but rejoices when the truth rejoices.
7 Shuno jamo falituwe, jamono amanituwe, b́ jangituwere jamoniye, jam keewon kúp'e b́wotiti.
It knows how to be silent, it is trustful, hopeful, patient, enduring.
8 Shuno b́ jamon dihiratse, bek'on keewo imets imo beshituwe handr noonon keew falo beshituwe, dan wotiyalowere beshituwe.
Love never fails; but though there are prophecies, they will fail; though there are tongues, they will cease; though there is knowledge, it will be superseded.
9 No danon wotowa bek'on no keewitwo k'atsoniye.
For our knowing is imperfect, and our prophesying is imperfect;
10 Ernmó s'een wottso b́woor k'atso ooritke.
but when the perfect is come, then the perfect will be done away.
11 Na'a t wotor na'ok'owa t keewufo, na'ok'owa t gawfo, nana'ok'owa t maramarefni, gan asho t wotoromó nana'i doy jamo k'aztk'iri.
When I was a child I spoke like a child, felt like a child, thought like a child; now that I am become a man, I have done with childish things.
12 And mestawut shuwa shuwa etir mastawit gondotse s'ilirwotskok'o noone, bíyormó shin shinaatsne nobek'eti, and tdanir k'atsoniye, bíyoromó Ik'o taan b́ dantsok'osh s'een dano detsetwe.
For now we see as in a mirror, and are baffled, but then face to face; now I know in fragments, but then shall I understand even as I also have been understood.
13 Eshe imnetiyo, jángo, shuno, keezanots oorar betknee, ernmó hanotsitsere bogetuwo shune.
Faith, Hope, Love endure - these three; but the greatest of these is Love.
