याकूब 1
1 अवं याकूब, ज़ै परमेशर ते प्रभु यीशु मसीहेरे दास आईं। अवं तैन 12 यहूदी गोत्रां केरे विश्वासी लोकन ज़ैना तितर बितर भोइतां सारे दुनियाई मां रातन, तैन जो नमस्कार लिखताईं।
James, a servant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ, to the twelve tribes who are scattered abroad: Greetings.
2 हे मेरे ढ्लाव ते बेइनव, ज़ैखन तुसन पुड़ अलग-अलग किसमां केरि अज़मैइशां एज्जन, त एस खुशारी गल समझ़ा,
Count it all joy, my brothers, when you experience various trials,
3 किजोकि तुस ज़ानतथ, तुश्शे विश्वासेरे परखे गाने सेइं इन साबत भोते, कि तुस हेजू तगर भी परमेशरे पुड़ भरोसो रखतथ, ते तुस मुशकलन सबरी सेइं झ़ल्लेले।
because you know that the testing of your faith produces endurance.
4 पन मुशकलन मां सबर केरनि शिख्खा, कि तुस आत्मिकता मां मज़बूत ते सिद्ध भोते गाथ, ते तुसन मां कोन्ची रोड़ी गल्लरी घटी न भोए।
And let endurance have its full effect, so that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.
5 पन अगर तुसन मरां कोन्ची अक्लारी घटी भोए, त तै परमेशरे करां मग्गे, ज़ै बगैर दोष लेइतां सेब्भन खुशी सेइं देते, त मगने बाले दित्ती गाली।
If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given to him.
6 पन विश्वासे सेइं मग्गे, ते शक न केरे। किजोकि शक केरनेबालो समुन्द्रेरी छ़ेल्ली केरो ज़ेरोए, ज़ैना हवाई सेइं च़ेलतिन ते उछ़ड़तिन।
But he must ask in faith without doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, driven by the wind and tossed about.
7 एरो मैन्हु इन न समझ़े, कि मीं प्रभु करां किछ मैलेलू।
That person should not expect to receive anything from the Lord.
8 ई मैन्हु दूमन्नोए ते एपनी सैरी गल्लन मां चंचल आए।
A double-minded man is unstable in all his ways.
9 गरीब विश्वासी ढ्ला खुश भोए, किजोकि परमेशरे तैसेरी आदर कियोरीए।
The lowly brother should rejoice in being exalted,
10 ते धनी विश्वासी अपने घटिया हालती पुड़ खुश भोए, किजोकि घासेरे फूड़ोवेंरो ज़ेरो मिटी गातो।
and the rich man should rejoice in being made low, because he will pass away like a flower of grass.
11 दिहाड़ो निसते बड़ी धुप पेतीए, ते घासे शुकाते, ते तैसेरू फूड़ोंव झ़ैड़ी गाते, ते तैसेरी शोभा गाती रहतीए; तेन्च़रे दौलतमन्द ढ्ला भी अपने कम्मन मां मैरी गानेन।
For the sun rises with its scorching heat and withers the grass, and its flower falls, and the beauty of its appearance perishes. So also will the rich man fade away in his pursuits.
12 धने तै मैन्हु, ज़ै अज़मैइशी मां मज़बूत रहते; किजोकि तै अपनो विश्वास साबत केरतां ज़िन्दगरू तैन इनाम हासिल केरेलो, ज़ेसेरो वादो प्रभुए तैन सेइं कियोरोए, ज़ैना तैस सेइं प्यार केरतन।
Blessed is the man who endures temptation, for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life, which the Lord has promised to those who love him.
13 ज़ैखन कोन्चेरी अज़मैइश भोए, त तै इन न ज़ोए, कि मेरी अज़मैइश परमेशरेरी तरफां भोतीए। न बुरी गल्लन सेइं परमेशरेरी अज़मैइश भोइ बटतीए, ते न तै बुरी गल्लन सेइं केन्चेरी अज़मैइश केरते।
No one should say when he is tempted, “I am being tempted by God,” for God is not tempted by evil, and he himself tempts no one.
14 पन हर कोई अपने खुवैइशन मां खिचोइतां, ते फेसतां अज़मैइशी मां गाते।
But each person is tempted when he is drawn away and enticed by his own evil desires.
15 ते फिरी बुरू केरनेरी खुवैइशरो नितीजो ई भोते, कि मैन्हु बुरी चीज़ां केरतन, ते आखरी मां तैन हमेशारी सज़ा मैलतीए।
And when desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin. And when sin is fully grown, it brings forth death.
16 हे मेरे ट्लारे ढ्लाव ते बेइनव, धोखो न खाथ।
Do not be deceived, my beloved brothers.
17 किजोकि हर रोड़ू वरदान, ते हर रोड़ू दान इश्शे बाजी परमेशरेरे तरफां आए, ज़ैनी सैरी लोआं (यानी दिहाड़ी चाँदनी, तारे) बनेइं। परमेशर हमेशा अक्कां ज़ेरो आए, तै छावरो ज़ेरो न बेदलो।
Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning.
18 तैने अपने मेर्ज़ी सेइं असन सच़्च़ेरे वचने ज़िरिये सेइं नव्वीं ज़िन्दगी दित्ती, ताके अस तैसेरी सच़नाईं मरां फसलारे ज़ेरे पेइले फल भोम।
Of his own will he gave us birth by the word of truth so that we would be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures.
19 मेरे ट्लारे ढ्लाव ते बेइनव, ई गल तुस ज़ानतथ, एल्हेरेलेइ हर कोई मैन्हु शुन्नेरे लेइ हुशार ते ज़ोने मां पत्रोवं भोए, ते सरकी मां ढिल्लो भोए।
So then, my beloved brothers, everyone should be swift to hear, slow to speak, and slow to anger.
20 किजोकि ज़ैखन मैन्हु सरकी मां भोए त तै धार्मिकतारू कम न केरि बटे ज़ैस सेइं परमेशर खुश भोए।
For the anger of man does not produce the righteousness of God.
21 एल्हेरेलेइ सारी गंदगी ते दुष्ट दूर केरतां, तैन परमेशरेरू वचन नेरमी सेइं कबूल केरे, ज़ैन दिले मां छ़ड्डू जेव, ज़ैन तुश्शे प्राणन मुक्ति देइ बटते।
Therefore, putting aside all filthiness and rampant wickedness, humbly receive the implanted word, which is able to save your souls.
22 पन परमेशरेरे वचने पुड़ च़लनेबाला बना, ते सिर्फ शुन्ने बाले नईं, ज़ैना अपने आपे धोखो देतन।
But be doers of the word and not hearers only. Otherwise, you are deceiving yourselves.
23 किजोकि ज़ै परमेशरेरू वचन शुन्ने बालो भोए, ते तैस पुड़ च़लने बालो न भोए, त तै तैस मैनेरो ज़ेरोए, ज़ै अपनू तुतर शीशे मां हेरते।
For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man who looks at his face in a mirror.
24 ते तै अपनो आप हेरतां च़लो गाते, ते तैखने बिसरते कि अवं केरो थियो।
For he looks at himself and goes away, and then immediately forgets what he looks like.
25 पन ज़ै मैन्हु कानूने ध्यान सेइं पढ़ते, ज़ै पूरे तरीके सेइं असन आज़ादी देते, सिर्फ शुने न पन तेन्च़रे कम केरते, तै अपने कम्मे मां बरकत हासिल केरेलो।
But he who looks into the perfect law, the law of liberty, and abides by it, is not a forgetful hearer but a doer who acts. He will be blessed in what he does.
26 अगर कोई अपनो आप भक्त समझ़े, ते अपनि ज़िभी कैबू मां न रख्खे, तै अपने आपे धोखो देते, ते तैसेरी भक्ति बेफैइदी आए।
If anyone among you considers himself to be religious but does not bridle his tongue, he deceives himself and his religion is worthless.
27 इश्शे बाजी परमेशरेरे नेड़े शुद्ध ते रोड़ी भक्ति ई आए, कि बे सहारां ते विधवां केरे मुसीबती मां खबर नी गाए, ते अपनो आप दुनियारे बुरे सुभावेरे अस्सरे करां दूर रखम।
Pure and undefiled religion before God our Father is this: to look after orphans and widows in their affliction and to keep oneself unstained by the world.
