সখরিয় ভাববাদীর বই 7
1 রাজা দারিয়াবসের রাজত্বের চতুর্থ বছরের কিশ্লেব নামক নবম মাসের চতুর্থ দিন সদাপ্রভুর বাক্য সখরিয়ের কাছে উপস্থিত হল।
And it was in year four of Darius the king it came [the] word of Yahweh to Zechariah on [day] four of the month ninth in Kislev.
2 বেথেলের লোকেরা শরেৎসরকে, রেগম্মেলককে ও তাদের লোকদের সদাপ্রভুর কাছে বিনতি করতে পাঠিয়েছিল
And it had sent Beth-el Shar-ezer and Regem-Melech and men his to entreat [the] face of Yahweh.
3 সর্বশক্তিমান সদাপ্রভুর গৃহের যাজকদের ও ভাববাদীদের একথা জিজ্ঞাসা করার দ্বারা, “আমি এত বছর যেমন করে এসেছি সেভাবে কি পঞ্চম মাসেও শোকপ্রকাশ ও উপবাস করব?”
To say to the priests who [belonged] to [the] house of Yahweh of hosts and to the prophets saying ¿ will I weep in the month fifth will I consecrate myself? just as I have done this how many? years.
4 পরে সর্বশক্তিমান সদাপ্রভুর এই বাক্য আমার কাছে উপস্থিত হল,
And it came [the] word of Yahweh of hosts to me saying.
5 “তুমি দেশের সব লোকদের ও যাজকদের জিজ্ঞাসা করো, ‘তোমরা গত সত্তর বছর ধরে পঞ্চম ও সপ্তম মাসে যে শোকপ্রকাশ ও উপবাস করেছ, তা কি সত্যিই আমার উদ্দেশে করেছ?
Say to all [the] people of the land and to the priests saying that you fasted and you mourned in the fifth [month] and in the seventh [month] and this seventy year[s] ¿ really did you fast for me me.
6 আর যখন তোমরা খেয়েছ ও পান করেছ, তোমরা কি নিজেদের জন্যই তা করোনি?
And if you eat and if you drink ¿ not [are] you the [ones who] eat and [are] you? the [ones who] drink.
7 যখন জেরুশালেম ও তার চারপাশের নগরগুলিতে লোকজন বাস করছিল ও সেগুলির অবস্থার উন্নতি হয়েছিল আর নেগেভ ও পশ্চিমের নিচু পাহাড়ি এলাকায় যখন লোকদের বসতি ছিল তখনও কি সদাপ্রভু এসব কথা পূর্বতন ভাববাদীদের মাধ্যমে বলেননি?’”
¿ Not [are] the words which he proclaimed Yahweh by [the] hand of the prophets former when was Jerusalem remaining and at ease and cities its around it and the Negev and the Shephelah [was] remaining.
8 আর সদাপ্রভুর বাক্য সখরিয়ের কাছে উপস্থিত হল,
And it came [the] word of Yahweh to Zechariah saying.
9 “সর্বশক্তিমান সদাপ্রভু এই কথা বলেন, ‘তোমরা ন্যায়ভাবে বিচার করো, একে অন্যের প্রতি করুণা করো ও সহানুভূতি দেখাও।
Thus he says Yahweh of hosts saying justice of faithfulness judge and loyalty and compassion do each with brother his.
10 তোমরা বিধবাদের বা অনাথদের, বিদেশিদের বা গরিবদের উপর অত্যাচার কোরো না। একে অন্যের বিষয় হৃদয়ে মন্দ চিন্তা কোরো না।’
And [the] widow and [the] fatherless [the] sojourner and [the] poor may not you oppress and [the] harm of each brother his may not you plan in heart your.
11 “কিন্তু তারা তা শুনতে চায়নি; একগুঁয়েমি করে তারা পিছন ফিরে তাদের কান বন্ধ করে রেখেছিল।
And they refused to pay attention and they gave a shoulder stubborn and ears their they made heavy from hearing.
12 তারা তাদের হৃদয় চকমকি পাথরের মতো শক্ত করেছিল এবং বিধানের কথা অথবা সর্বশক্তিমান সদাপ্রভু তাঁর আত্মা দ্বারা আগেকার ভাববাদীদের মাধ্যমে যে বাক্য পাঠিয়েছিলেন তা যেন শুনতে না হয়। এই জন্য তাদের উপর সর্বশক্তিমান সদাপ্রভুর মহাক্রোধ উপস্থিত হয়েছিল।
And heart their they made flint from hearing the law and the words which he had sent Yahweh of hosts by spirit his by [the] hand of the prophets former and it was wrath great from with Yahweh of hosts.
13 “‘আমি যখন ডেকেছিলাম, তারা শোনেনি; সেইজন্য তারা যখন ডাকবে, আমিও শুনব না,’ সর্বশক্তিমান সদাপ্রভু এই কথা বলেন।
And it was just as he called and not they listened so they called and not I listened he says Yahweh of hosts.
14 ‘আমি তাদের ঘূর্ণিঝড় দিয়ে অপরিচিত জাতিদের মধ্যে ছড়িয়ে দিয়েছি। এরপরে তাদের দেশ এত জনশূন্য হয়ে পড়েছিল যে, সেখানে কেউ যাওয়া-আসা করত না। এইভাবে তারা সেই সুন্দর দেশটাকে জনশূন্য করেছিল।’”
And I will storm away them to all the nations which not they have known them and the land it was desolate behind them from [one who] passes by and from [one who] returns and they made a land of desire into a waste.
