সখরিয় ভাববাদীর বই 4
1 পরে যে স্বর্গদূত আমার সঙ্গে কথা বলছিলেন তিনি ফিরে আসলেন এবং ঘুম থেকে জাগাবার মতো করে আমাকে জাগালেন।
Then the messenger who talked with me came again and woke me, as someone who is woken from sleep.
2 তিনি আমাকে জিজ্ঞাসা করলেন, “তুমি কী দেখছ?” আমি উত্তর দিলাম, “আমি একটি সোনার বাতিদান দেখতে পাচ্ছি যার মাথার উপরে একটি পাত্র ও তার উপরে সাতটি প্রদীপ এবং সেই প্রদীপগুলির জন্য সাতটি নল।
He said to me, ‘What do you see?’ I said, ‘I see a candlestick, all of gold, with a bowl on its top, and seven lamps on it. There are seven pipes to each of the lamps, which are on its top,
3 এছাড়াও তার পাশে দুটি জলপাই গাছ আছে, একটি পাত্রের ডানদিকে আর অন্যটি তার বাঁদিকে।”
and two olive trees next to it, one on the right side of the bowl, and the other on its left side.’
4 আমার সঙ্গে যে স্বর্গদূত কথা বলছিলেন তাঁকে আমি জিজ্ঞাসা করলাম, “হে আমার প্রভু, এগুলি কী?”
I said to the messenger who talked with me, ‘What are these, my lord?’
5 তিনি উত্তর দিলেন, “তুমি কি জানো না এগুলি কী?” আমি উত্তর দিলাম, “হে প্রভু, না।”
Then the messenger who talked with me answered, ‘Don’t you know what these are?’ And I said. ‘No, my lord.’
6 তখন তিনি আমাকে বললেন, “সদাপ্রভু সরুব্বাবিলকে এই কথা বলছেন: ‘বল দ্বারা নয় শক্তি দ্বারাও নয়, কিন্তু আমার আত্মা দ্বারা,’ সর্বশক্তিমান সদাপ্রভু এই কথা বলেন।
He said to me, ‘This is the message of the Lord regarding Zerubbabel: Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, says the Lord of hosts,
7 “হে বিরাট পাহাড়, কে তুমি? সরুব্বাবিলের সামনে তুমি হবে সমভূমি। তারপর মস্তকস্বরূপ পাথরটা বের করে আনবার সময় তারা চিৎকার করে বলবে ‘ঈশ্বর একে আশীর্বাদ করো! ঈশ্বর একে আশীর্বাদ করো!’”
will I make the great mountain before Zerubbabel a plain. He will bring forth the top stones with shoutings of, “Grace, grace, to it.”’
8 তারপর সদাপ্রভুর বাক্য আমার কাছে উপস্থিত হল
Moreover this message of the Lord came to me:
9 “সরুব্বাবিলের হাত এই মন্দিরের ভিত্তি স্থাপন করেছে; তাঁরই হাত এটি শেষ করবে। তখন তোমরা জানতে পারবে যে সর্বশক্তিমান সদাপ্রভুই আমাকে তোমাদের কাছে পাঠিয়েছেন।
The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this house. His hands will also finish it. Then you will know that the Lord of hosts has sent me to you.
10 “সামান্য বিষয়ের দিনকে কে তুচ্ছজ্ঞান করেছে? লোকেরা আনন্দ করবে যখন তারা সরুব্বাবিলের হাতে ওলন-দড়ি দেখবে, যেহেতু এগুলি হল সদাপ্রভুর সাতটা চোখ, যেগুলি সারা পৃথিবী পর্যবেক্ষণ করে।”
For who has despised the day of small things? They will rejoice, and will see the plumb line in the hand of Zerubbabel. (The seven lamps are the eyes of the Lord that search all around the world.)
11 তখন আমি স্বর্গদূতকে জিজ্ঞাসা করলাম, “বাতিদানের ডানদিকে ও বামদিকে এই জলপাই গাছগুলি কী?”
Again I asked, ‘What are these two olive trees on the right side of the candlestick and on its left side?’
12 আমি তাঁকে আবার জিজ্ঞাসা করলাম, “দুটো সোনার নল যেগুলি সোনার তেল ঢালে তার দুদিকে এই দুটো জলপাই ডাল কী?”
Again, ‘What are these two branches of the olive trees, which are pouring out the golden oil through the two golden pipes?’
13 তিনি উত্তর দিলেন, “তুমি কি জানো না এগুলি কী?” আমি উত্তর দিলাম, “হে প্রভু, না।”
He answered me, ‘Don’t you now what these are?’ And I said, ‘No, my lord.’
14 তখন তিনি বললেন, “এই দুটি হল সেই দুজন যারা সমগ্র জগতে প্রভুর সেবা করার জন্য অভিষিক্ত হয়েছে।”
Then he explained, ‘They are the two anointed ones who attend the Lord of all the earth.’
