1 ইত্যবসরে বোয়স নগরের ফটকের কাছে গেলেন এবং সেখানে বসলেন। যে মুক্তিকর্তা জ্ঞাতির কথা তিনি রূতকে বলেছিলেন, তাঁকে যখন তিনি রাস্তা দিয়ে যেতে দেখলেন, তখন বোয়স তাঁকে ডেকে বললেন, “বন্ধু আমার কাছে এখানে এসে বসো।” তাই তিনি বোয়সের কাছে এসে বসলেন।

And Boaz he went up the gate and he sat down there and there! the kinsman-redeemer [was] passing by whom he had spoken Boaz and he said turn aside! sit! here a certain one a certain one and he turned aside and he sat down.

And he took ten men from [the] elders of the city and he said sit here and they sat down.

And he said to the kinsman redeemer [the] portion of the field which [belonged] to brother our to Elimelech she has sold Naomi who returned from [the] region of Moab.

4 আমি ভাবলাম যে এই বিষয়টি তোমার নজরে আমার আনা উচিত এবং এখানে যাঁরা বসে আছেন ও আমার স্বজাতীয় প্রাচীনদের সামনে আমি এই জমিটি মুক্ত করার প্রস্তাব রাখছি। যদি তুমি সেই জমিটি মুক্ত করতে চাও, মুক্ত করতে পারো। কিন্তু যদি না করতে চাও, আমাকে বলো, যেন আমি তা জানতে পারি। কারণ সেই জমিটি মুক্ত করার প্রথম অধিকার তোমার ছাড়া আর কারোর নেই এবং তারপর সেই অধিকার আছে আমার।” সেই মুক্তিকর্তা জ্ঞাতি বললেন, “আমি এটি মুক্ত করব।”

And he said Boaz on [the] day acquiring you the field from [the] hand of Naomi and from with Ruth the Moabite [woman] [the] wife of the dead [man] (you have acquired *Q(K)*) to raise up [the] name of the dead [man] over inheritance his.

6 তখন সেই মুক্তিকর্তা জ্ঞাতি বললেন, “আমি মুক্ত করতে পারব না, কারণ পরে এমন হলে আমি আমার নিজের সম্পত্তিও হারাব। তুমি নিজেই এই সম্পত্তি মুক্ত করো। আমি করতে পারব না।”

And he said the kinsman-redeemer not I am able (to redeem [it] *Q(k)*) for myself lest I should ruin own inheritance my redeem for yourself you right of redemption my for not I am able to redeem [it].

9 তখন বোয়স, যারা সেখানে বসেছিল সেই লোকদের ও প্রাচীনদের উদ্দেশে ঘোষণা করে বললেন, “আজ আমি আপনাদের সকলকে সাক্ষী রেখে ইলীমেলক, কিলিয়োন এবং মহলোনের সমস্ত সম্পত্তি নয়মীর কাছ থেকে কিনে নিলাম।

And he said Boaz to the elders and all the people [are] witnesses you this day that I acquire all that [belonged] to Elimelech and all that [belonged] to Kilion and Mahlon from [the] hand of Naomi.

10 আর আমি মহলোনের স্ত্রী মোয়াবীয় রূতকে নিজের স্ত্রীরূপে সেই মৃত ব্যক্তির নাম রক্ষা করার জন্য গ্রহণ করলাম, যেন সেই ব্যক্তির নাম নগরের পারিবারিক নামের তালিকা থেকে বাদ না যায়। আজ আপনারা তার সাক্ষী হলেন!”

And also Ruth the Moabite [woman] [the] wife of Mahlon I acquire for myself to a wife to raise up [the] name of the dead [man] over inheritance his and not it will be cut off [the] name of the dead [man] from with brothers his and from [the] gate of place his [are] witnesses you this day.

And he took Boaz Ruth and she became of him a wife and he went into her and he gave Yahweh to her conception and she bore a son.

14 সেই দেশের মহিলারা নয়মীকে বলল, “সদাপ্রভুর প্রশংসা হোক, কারণ তিনি তোমাকে মুক্তিকর্তা জ্ঞাতি থেকে আলাদা করেননি। সমগ্র ইস্রায়েল জাতির মধ্যে সে বিখ্যাত হোক!

And they said the women to Naomi [be] blessed Yahweh who not he has caused to cease to you a kinsman-redeemer this day and may it be proclaimed name his in Israel.

And he will become for you [one who] restores life and to sustain old age your for daughter-in-law your who she loves you she has given birth to him who she [is] good to you more than seven sons.

16 এরপর নয়মী ছেলেটিকে বুকে জড়িয়ে ধরল এবং তার যত্ন নিল।

And she took Naomi the child and she placed him on bosom her and she became of him a nurse.

17 সেখানে বসবাসকারী মহিলারা বলল, “নয়মীর এক ছেলে জন্মেছে!” এই বলে তারা সেই ছেলেটির নাম রাখল ওবেদ। ইনি যিশয়ের বাবা, যিনি দাউদের বাবা।

And they called him the [female] neighbors a name saying he has been born a son to Naomi and they called name his Obed he [was] [the] father of Jesse [the] father of David.

18 আর এই হল পেরসের পরিবারের সন্তানদের বংশতালিকা: পেরসের ছেলে হিষ্রোণ,

And these [are] [the] descendants of Perez Perez he fathered Hezron.

19 হিষ্রোণের ছেলে রাম, রামের ছেলে অম্মীনাদব,

And Hezron he fathered Ram and Ram he fathered Amminadab.

20 অম্মীনাদবের ছেলে নহশোন, নহশোনের ছেলে সলমন,

And Amminadab he fathered Nahshon and Nahshon he fathered Salmah.

21 সল্‌মোনের ছেলে বোয়স, বোয়সের ছেলে ওবেদ,

And Salmon he fathered Boaz and Boaz he fathered Obed.

And Obed he fathered Jesse and Jesse he fathered David.
