গীতসংহিতা 99

1 সদাপ্রভু রাজত্ব করেন, জাতিরা কম্পিত হোক; করূবের মাঝে তিনি সিংহাসনে অধিষ্ঠিত, পৃথিবী কেঁপে উঠুক।

The Lord hath regned, puplis ben wrooth; thou that sittist on cherubyn, the erthe be moued.

2 সদাপ্রভু সিয়োনে মহান; সব জাতির ঊর্ধ্বে তিনি উন্নীত।

The Lord is greet in Sion; and hiy aboue alle puplis.

3 তারা তোমার মহান ও ভয়াবহ নামের প্রশংসা করুক— তিনি পবিত্র।

Knouleche thei to thi greet name, for it is ferdful and hooli;

4 রাজা শক্তিশালী, তিনি ন্যায় ভালোবাসেন— তুমি ন্যায় প্রতিষ্ঠা করেছ; তুমি যাকোবের মধ্যে ন্যায় ও ধার্মিকতা প্রতিষ্ঠা করেছ।

and the onour of the king loueth doom. Thou hast maad redi dressyngis; thou hast maad doom and riytfulnesse in Jacob.

5 সদাপ্রভু আমাদের ঈশ্বরের গৌরব করো, তাঁর পাদপীঠে আরাধনা করো; তিনি পবিত্র।

Enhaunse ye oure Lord God; and worschipe ye the stool of hise feet, for it is hooli.

6 মোশি ও হারোণ তাঁর যাজকদের মধ্যে ছিলেন, শমূয়েল তাঁদের মধ্যে একজন ছিলেন যাঁরা সদাপ্রভুর নামে ডাকতেন তাঁরা সদাপ্রভুর কাছে সাহায্যের প্রার্থনা করতেন, এবং তিনি তাঁদের উত্তর দিতেন।

Moises and Aaron weren among hise preestis; and Samuel was among hem that inwardli clepen his name. Thei inwardli clepiden the Lord, and he herde hem;

7 তিনি মেঘস্তম্ভের আড়াল থেকে তাঁদের উদ্দেশে কথা বলতেন, তিনি যে বিধিবিধান এবং আদেশ তাঁদের দিয়েছিলেন সেসব তাঁরা মেনে চলতেন।

in a piler of cloude he spak to hem. Thei kepten hise witnessyngis; and the comaundement which he yaf to hem.

8 হে সদাপ্রভু, আমাদের ঈশ্বর, তুমি তাঁদের উত্তর দিয়েছিলে; যদিও তুমি তাঁদের দুষ্কর্মের শাস্তি দিয়েছিলে, ইস্রায়েলের প্রতি তুমি ক্ষমাশীল ঈশ্বর।

Oure Lord God, thou herdist hem; God, thou were merciful to hem, and thou tokist veniaunce on al her fyndyngis.

9 আমাদের ঈশ্বর সদাপ্রভুকে মহিমান্বিত করো এবং তাঁর পবিত্র পর্বতে আরাধনা করো, কারণ আমাদের ঈশ্বর সদাপ্রভু, পবিত্র।

Enhaunse ye oure Lord God, and worschipe ye in his hooli hil; for oure Lord God is hooli.
