1 কোরহ বংশের সন্তানদের গীত। একটি সংগীত। পবিত্র পর্বতে তিনি তাঁর নগর স্থাপন করেছেন।

A song. A psalm of the descendants of Korah. The Lord founded the city on his holy mountain.

2 যাকোবের কুলের অন্য সমস্ত বাসস্থান থেকে সদাপ্রভু সিয়োনের দ্বারসকল ভালোবাসেন।

Jerusalem is the city that the Lord loves more than any other city in Israel.

3 হে ঈশ্বরের নগরী, তোমার বিষয়ে গৌরবের কথা বলা হয়:

Many wonderful things are said of you, city of God! (Selah)

4 “যারা আমাকে স্বীকার করে তাদের মধ্যে আমি রহব এবং ব্যাবিলনের উল্লেখ করব, এমনকি ফিলিস্তিয়া, সোর ও কূশ— এবং বলব, ‘এই সবের জন্ম সিয়োনে হয়েছে।’”

I mention Egypt and Babylon as those who know me, and in addition Philistia, Tyre, and Ethiopia—“this man was born there.”

5 সত্যিই, সিয়োন সম্পর্কে ঘোষণা করা হবে, “এর জন্ম সিয়োনে হয়েছে, ওরও জন্ম হয়েছে, এবং পরাৎপর স্বয়ং তাঁকে প্রতিষ্ঠিত করবেন।”

It will be said concerning Jerusalem, “Everyone was born there,” and the Most High will make it secure.

6 সদাপ্রভু লোকেদের সম্বন্ধে গণনা করার গ্রন্থে লিখবেন: “এর জন্ম সিয়োনে হয়েছে।”

When the Lord registers the nations, he will write, “They were born there.” (Selah)

7 সবাই যারা গান ও নাচ করবে, তারা বলবে, “সিয়োন আমার জীবনের উৎস।”

Singers and dancers alike say, “Living here I am at home.”
