1 সংগীত পরিচালকের জন্য। আট-তারের যন্ত্র সহযোগে। শমীনীৎ অনুসারে। দাউদের গীত। হে সদাপ্রভু, রাগে আমায় তিরস্কার কোরো না তোমার ক্রোধে আমায় শাসন কোরো না।
To the chief music-maker on corded instruments, on the Sheminith. A Psalm. Of David. O Lord, do not be bitter with me in your wrath; do not send punishment on me in the heat of your passion.
2 আমার প্রতি দয়া করো, হে সদাপ্রভু, কারণ আমি দুর্বল; আমায় সুস্থ করো, হে সদাপ্রভু, কারণ আমার হাড়গোড় ব্যথায় পূর্ণ।
Have mercy on me, O Lord, for I am wasted away: make me well, for even my bones are troubled.
3 আমার প্রাণ গভীর বেদনায় পূর্ণ, কত কাল, হে সদাপ্রভু, আর কত কাল?
My soul is in bitter trouble; and you, O Lord, how long?
4 হে সদাপ্রভু, আমার দিকে দেখো, ও আমায় রক্ষা করো; তোমার অবিচল প্রেমের গুণে আমায় রক্ষা করো।
Come back, O Lord, make my soul free; O give me salvation because of your mercy.
For in death there is no memory of you; in the underworld who will give you praise? (Sheol h7585)
6 আমি আর্তনাদ করে ক্লান্ত হয়ে পড়েছি। সারারাত ধরে কেঁদে আমি বিছানা ভিজিয়েছি এবং চোখের জলে আমার খাট ভিজিয়েছি।
The voice of my sorrow is a weariness to me; all the night I make my bed wet with weeping; it is watered by the drops flowing from my eyes.
7 গভীর দুঃখে আমার দৃষ্টি দুর্বল হয়; আমার সব শত্রুদের নির্যাতনে চোখ জীর্ণ হয়।
My eyes are wasting away with trouble; they are becoming old because of all those who are against me.
8 তোমরা সবাই যারা অধর্ম করো, আমার কাছ থেকে দূর হও, কারণ সদাপ্রভু আমার কান্না শুনেছেন।
Go from me, all you workers of evil; for the Lord has given ear to the voice of my weeping.
9 সদাপ্রভু আমার বিনতি শুনেছেন; সদাপ্রভু আমার প্রার্থনা গ্রহণ করেন।
The Lord has given ear to my request; the Lord has let my prayer come before him.
10 আমার সব শত্রু লজ্জিত ও বিহ্বল হবে; তারা পিছু ফিরবে এবং হঠাৎ লজ্জিত হবে।
Let all those who are against me be shamed and deeply troubled; let them be turned back and suddenly put to shame.
