গীতসংহিতা 57
1 সংগীত পরিচালকের জন্য। দাউদের মিকতাম। সেই সময়ে রচিত যখন তিনি শৌলের হাত থেকে পালিয়ে গুহায় লুকিয়েছিলেন। সুর “ধ্বংস কোরো না।” আমার প্রতি কৃপা করো, হে আমার ঈশ্বর, আমার প্রতি কৃপা করো, কারণ আমি তোমাতে আশ্রয় নিয়েছি। যতক্ষণ না পর্যন্ত বিপদ কেটে যায় আমি তোমার ডানার ছায়ায় আশ্রয় নেবো।

2 আমি পরাৎপর ঈশ্বরের কাছে প্রার্থনা করব, ঈশ্বরের কাছে যিনি আমার প্রতি তাঁর সংকল্প পূর্ণ করেন।
I call out to God Most High to God [who] avenges on me.
3 যারা আমার পশ্চাদ্ধাবন করে তাদের তিরস্কার করে তিনি স্বর্গ থেকে সাহায্য পাঠিয়ে আমাকে রক্ষা করেন; ঈশ্বর তাঁর অবিচল প্রেম ও বিশ্বস্ততা প্রেরণ করেন।
He will send from heaven - and he will save me he will reproach [one who] crushes me (Selah) he will send God covenant loyalty his and faithfulness his.
4 আমি সিংহদের মধ্যে রয়েছি; ক্ষুধার্ত বন্যপশুদের মাঝে বসবাস করতে আমি বাধ্য হয়েছি— মানুষ যাদের দাঁত বর্শা ও তির, যাদের জিভ ধারালো তরোয়াল।
Self my - in among lions I lie with [those that] devour [the] children of humankind teeth their [are] a spear and arrows and tongue their [is] a sword sharp.
5 হে ঈশ্বর, আকাশমণ্ডলের ঊর্ধ্বে গৌরবান্বিত হও; তোমার মহিমা সারা পৃথিবীতে ব্যাপ্ত হোক।
Be exalted! above the heavens O God [be] over all the earth glory your.
6 আমার শত্রুরা আমার জন্য এক ফাঁদ পেতেছে— আমি হতাশায় নত হয়েছিলাম। আমার চলার পথে তারা এক গর্ত খুঁড়েছিল— কিন্তু সেই গর্তে তারা নিজেরাই পড়ে গেল।

7 হে ঈশ্বর, আমার হৃদয় তোমাতে অবিচল, আমার হৃদয় অবিচল; আমি গান গাইব ও সংগীত রচনা করব।
[is] steadfast Heart my O God [is] steadfast heart my I will sing and I will sing praises.
8 জেগে ওঠো, হে আমার প্রাণ! জেগে ওঠো, বীণা ও সুরবাহার! আমি প্রত্যুষকে জাগিয়ে তুলব।
Awake! O honor my awake! O lyre and harp I will waken [the] dawn.
9 হে সদাপ্রভু, জাতিদের মাঝে আমি তোমার প্রশংসা করব; লোকেদের মাঝে আমি তোমার স্তব করব।
I will give thanks to you among the peoples - O Lord I will sing praises to you not nations.
10 কারণ তোমার অবিচল প্রেম আকাশমণ্ডল ছুঁয়েছে; তোমার বিশ্বস্ততা গগনচুম্বী।
For [is] great to [the] heavens covenant loyalty your and to [the] clouds faithfulness your.
11 হে ঈশ্বর, আকাশমণ্ডলের ঊর্ধ্বে গৌরবান্বিত হও; তোমার মহিমা সারা পৃথিবীতে ব্যাপ্ত হোক।
Be exalted! above [the] heavens O God [be] over all the earth glory your.
