গীতসংহিতা 145
1 দাউদের প্রশংসাগীত। হে আমার ঈশ্বর, আমার রাজা, আমি তোমাকে মহিমান্বিত করব; চিরকাল আমি তোমার নামের প্রশংসা করব।
A Psalm of Praise. David’s. I will extol thee, my God, O King, and will bless thy Name, to times age-abiding and beyond:
2 প্রতিদিন আমি প্রশংসা করব আর চিরকাল তোমার নামের উচ্চপ্রশংসা করব।
Every day, will I bless thee, and praise thy Name, to times age-abiding and beyond.
3 সদাপ্রভু মহান ও অতীব প্রশংসার যোগ্য; কেউ তাঁর মহানতার পরিমাপ করতে পারে না।
Great is Yahweh—and worthy to be heartily praised, And, his greatness, is unsearchable.
4 এক প্রজন্ম তাদের সন্তানসন্ততিদের কাছে তোমার কাজের প্রশংসা করবে; আর তোমার পরাক্রমী কাজকর্ম বর্ণনা করবে।
Generation unto generation, shall celebrate thy works, and, thy mighty deeds, shall they tell:
5 তারা তোমার মহিমার গৌরব ও প্রভা ঘোষণা করবে আর আমি তোমার আশ্চর্য কাজ ধ্যান করব।
The splendour of the glory of thy majesty, shall they speak, and, thy wonders, will I utter.
6 আর লোকে তোমার ভয়াবহ কাজের কথা বলবে, আর আমি তোমার মহিমা বর্ণনা করব।
And, the might of thy terrible acts, shall men speak, and, as for thy greatness, I will recount it.
7 তারা তোমার অজস্র ধার্মিকতা প্রচার করবে, আর মহানন্দে তোমার ন্যায়পরায়ণতার বিষয়ে গান করবে।
The memory of thy great goodness, shall men pour forth, and, thy righteousness, shall they shout aloud.
8 সদাপ্রভু কৃপাময় ও স্নেহশীল, ক্রোধে ধীর ও দয়াতে মহান।
Gracious and compassionate, is Yahweh, —slow to anger, and of great lovingkindness.
9 সদাপ্রভু সকলের প্রতি মঙ্গলময়; নিজের সব সৃষ্টির প্রতি তাঁর করুণা অপার।
Good is Yahweh to all, and, his tender compassions, are over all his works.
10 হে সদাপ্রভু, তোমার সব কাজকর্ম তোমার প্রশংসা করে; তোমার বিশ্বস্ত লোকেরা তোমার উচ্চপ্রশংসা করে।
All thy works, O Yahweh, will give thanks unto thee, —and, thy men of lovingkindness, will bless thee:
11 তোমার রাজ্যের মহিমা তারা প্রচার করে, আর তোমার পরাক্রমের কথা বলে,
The glory of thy kingdom, will they tell, —and, thy power, will they speak.
12 যেন সব মানুষ তোমার পরাক্রমী কাজকর্ম আর তোমার রাজ্যের অপরূপ প্রতাপের কথা জানতে পারে।
To make known to the sons of men, his mighty deeds, and the splendid glory of his kingdom.
13 তোমার রাজত্ব অনন্তকালস্থায়ী রাজত্ব, আর তোমার আধিপত্য বংশপরম্পরায় স্থায়ী। সদাপ্রভু তাঁর সব প্রতিশ্রুতিতে অবিচল, এবং তিনি যা করেন সবকিছুতেই নির্ভরযোগ্য।
Thy kingdom, is a kingdom of all ages, —and, thy dominion, is over generation after generation.
14 যারা পতনের সম্মুখীন, সদাপ্রভু তাদের সবাইকে ধরে রাখেন আর যারা অবনত তাদের সবাইকে তিনি তুলে ধরেন।
Yahweh is ready to uphold all who are falling, and to raise all who are laid prostrate.
15 সবার চোখ তোমার দিকে তাকিয়ে থাকে, আর যথাসময়ে তুমি তাদের খাবার জোগাও।
The eyes of all, for thee, do wait, and, thou, givest them their food in its season.
16 তুমি তোমার হাত উন্মুক্ত করো, আর সব জীবন্ত প্রাণীর অভিলাষ পূর্ণ করো।
Thou, openest thy hand, and fillest every living thing with gladness.
17 সদাপ্রভু তাঁর সব কাজে ন্যায়পরায়ণ আর যা করেন সবকিছুতেই বিশ্বস্ত।
Righteous is Yahweh in all his ways, and kind in all his works.
18 সদাপ্রভু তাদের সবার কাছে আছেন যারা তাঁকে ডাকে, সবার কাছে আছেন যারা তাঁকে সত্যে আহ্বান করে।
Near is Yahweh to all who call upon him, —to all them who call upon him in faithfulness.
19 যারা তাঁকে সম্ভ্রম করে তিনি তাদের আকাঙ্ক্ষা পূর্ণ করেন; তিনি তাদের কান্না শোনেন আর তাদের রক্ষা করেন।
The desire of them who revere him, will he fulfil, and, their cry, will he hear, and will save them.
20 যারা তাঁকে ভালোবাসে, তিনি তাদের প্রতি দৃষ্টি রাখেন, কিন্তু দুষ্টদের সবাইকে তিনি ধ্বংস করবেন।
Yahweh preserveth all who love him, but, all the lawless, will he destroy.
21 আমার মুখ সদাপ্রভুর প্রশংসা করবে, আর প্রত্যেকটি প্রাণী যুগে যুগে ও চিরকাল তাঁর পবিত্র নামের প্রশংসা করবে।
The praise of Yahweh, my mouth shall speak, That all flesh may bless his holy Name, Unto times age-abiding and beyond.
