গীতসংহিতা 130

1 একটি আরোহণ সংগীত। হে সদাপ্রভু, আমি অতল থেকে তোমার সাহায্য চেয়েছি;

“A psalm of the steps, or the goings up.” Out of the depths do I cry to thee, O LORD!

2 হে সদাপ্রভু, আমার কণ্ঠস্বর শোনো। আমার বিনতি প্রার্থনার প্রতি তোমার কান মনযোগী হোক।

O Lord! listen to my voice, Let thine ears be attentive to my supplication!

3 হে সদাপ্রভু, যদি তুমি পাপের হিসেব রাখতে, তবে প্রভু, কে বাঁচতে পারত?

If thou, LORD, shouldst treasure up transgressions, Lord, who could stand?

4 কিন্তু তোমার কাছে ক্ষমা আছে, যেন আমরা, সম্ভ্রমে তোমার সেবা করতে পারি।

But with thee is forgiveness, That thou mayst be feared.

5 আমি সদাপ্রভুর প্রতীক্ষায় থাকি, আমার সমস্ত অন্তর প্রতীক্ষা করে, এবং তাঁর বাক্যে আমি আশা রাখি।

I trust in the LORD; my soul doth trust, And in his promise do I confide.

6 প্রত্যুষের জন্য প্রহরী যেমন প্রতীক্ষায় থাকে হ্যাঁ, প্রত্যুষের জন্য প্রহরী যেমন প্রতীক্ষায় থাকে, আমার প্রাণ, প্রভুর জন্য, তার থেকেও বেশি প্রতীক্ষায় থাকে।

My soul waiteth for the LORD More than they who watch for the morning; Yea, more than they who watch for the morning!

7 হে ইস্রায়েল, সদাপ্রভুর উপর আশা রাখো, কারণ সদাপ্রভুর কাছে অবিচল প্রেম আছে, এবং তাঁর কাছে পূর্ণ মুক্তি আছে।

O Israel! trust in the LORD! For with the LORD is mercy, And with him is plenteous redemption.

8 তিনি নিজেই ইস্রায়েলকে সব পাপ থেকে মুক্ত করবেন।

He will redeem Israel From all his iniquities.
