গীতসংহিতা 126

1 একটি আরোহণ সংগীত। সদাপ্রভু যখন জেরুশালেমের বন্দিদের ফিরিয়ে আনলেন, তখন যেন আমরা স্বপ্ন দেখছিলাম!

A song for pilgrims going up to Jerusalem. When the Lord brought his people back from captivity to Zion, it was as if we were dreaming!

2 আমাদের মুখ হাসিতে পূর্ণ ছিল, আনন্দের গানে আমাদের জিভ মুখর ছিল। সেই সময় জাতিদের মাঝে লোকেরা বলেছিল, “দেখো, সদাপ্রভু তাদের জন্যে কত মহৎ কাজ করেছেন।”

We laughed so much, we sang for joy. The other nations said, “The Lord has done wonderful things for these people.”

3 যথার্থই, সদাপ্রভু আমাদের জন্য মহৎ কাজ করেছেন, এবং আমরা আনন্দে পূর্ণ হয়েছি।

The Lord certainly has done wonderful things for us. How happy we were!

4 হে সদাপ্রভু, আমাদের বন্দিদের ফিরিয়ে আনো, নেগেভ মরুভূমির জলধারার মতো ফিরিয়ে আনো।

Please return and help us again, Lord. Renew us like streams of water that renew the Negev desert.

5 যারা চোখের জলে বীজবপন করে, তারা আনন্দগান গেয়ে শস্য কাটবে।

Those who sow in tears will reap with shouts of joy!

6 যারা চোখের জল ফেলতে ফেলতে বাইরে যায় বোনার জন্য বীজ বয়ে নিয়ে যায়, আনন্দগান গাইতে গাইতে ফিরে আসবে, সঙ্গে আঁটি নিয়ে ফিরে আসবে।

Those who weep as they go out to sow their seed will be singing in celebration when they carry the harvest home.
