1 সদাপ্রভুর প্রশংসা করো। তোমরা যারা তাঁর ভক্তদাস, সদাপ্রভুর প্রশংসা করো;

Praise ye Jehovah. Praise, O ye servants of Jehovah. Praise the name of Jehovah.

2 এখন ও অনন্তকাল, সদাপ্রভুর নামের প্রশংসা হোক।

Blessed be the name of Jehovah from this time forth and for evermore.

3 সূর্যের উদয়স্থান থেকে অস্তস্থান পর্যন্ত সদাপ্রভুর নামের প্রশংসা হোক।

From the rising of the sun to the going down of the same Jehovah's name is to be praised.

4 সদাপ্রভু সব জাতির ঊর্ধ্বে, এবং তাঁর মহিমা আকাশমণ্ডলের ঊর্ধ্বে গৌরবান্বিত।

Jehovah is high above all nations, and his glory above the heavens.

5 আমাদের ঈশ্বর সদাপ্রভু, যিনি ঊর্ধ্বে সিংহাসনে অধিষ্ঠিত, তাঁর সঙ্গে কার তুলনা হয়!

Who is like Jehovah our God who has his seat on high,

6 তিনি আকাশমণ্ডল ও পৃথিবীর দিকে অবনত হয়ে দৃষ্টিপাত করেন।

and yet looks upon the low things in heaven and in the earth.

7 তিনি ধুলো থেকে দরিদ্রদের তোলেন, আর ছাইয়ের স্তূপ থেকে অভাবীদের ওঠান;

He raises up a poor man out of the dust, and lifts up a needy man from the dunghill,

8 তিনি তাদের অধিপতিদের সঙ্গে, এমনকি তাঁর ভক্তদের অধিপতিদের সঙ্গে বসান।

that he may set him with rulers, even with the rulers of his people.

9 তিনি নিঃসন্তান মহিলাকে এক পরিবার দেন, তাকে ছেলেমেয়েদের সুখী মা করেন। সদাপ্রভুর প্রশংসা হোক।

He makes the barren woman to keep house, a joyful mother of sons. Praise ye Jehovah.
