1 সংগীত পরিচালকের জন্য। দাউদের গীত। আমার ঈশ্বর, আমার প্রশংসার পাত্র, নীরব থেকো না,
For the end, a Psalm of David. For the end, a Psalm of David. O God, pass not over my praise in silence;
2 দেখো, যারা দুষ্ট ও প্রতারক তারা আমার বিরুদ্ধে মুখ খুলেছে; ওদের মিথ্যাবাদী জিভ দিয়ে আমার বিরুদ্ধে কথা বলেছে।
for the mouth of the sinner and the mouth of the crafty [man] have been opened against me: they have spoken against me with a crafty tongue.
3 ঘৃণার বাক্য দিয়ে তারা আমাকে ঘিরে ফেলেছে; অকারণে তারা আমাকে আক্রমণ করে।
And they have compassed me with words of hatred; and fought against me without a cause.
4 আমার বন্ধুত্বের বিনিময়ে তারা আমাকে অভিযুক্ত করেছে, কিন্তু আমি প্রার্থনায় রত থেকেছি।
Instead of loving me, they falsely accused me: but I continued to pray.
5 তারা আমার উপকারের পরিবর্তে অপকার, এবং আমার বন্ধুত্বের বিনিময়ে ঘৃণা করেছে।
And they rewarded me evil for good, and hatred for my love.
6 আমার শত্রুর বিরুদ্ধে একজন দুষ্টকে নিয়োগ করো; একজন অভিযোগকারী তার ডানদিকে দাঁড়িয়ে থাকুক।
Set you a sinner against him; and let the devil stand at his right hand.
7 বিচারে সে যেন দোষী সাব্যস্ত হয়, আর তার প্রার্থনা পাপের তুল্য গণ্য হোক।
When he is judged, let him go forth condemned: and let his prayer become sin.
8 তার জীবনের আয়ু যেন স্বল্প হয়; অন্য কেউ যেন তার নেতৃত্বের পদে নিযুক্ত হয়।
Let his days be few: and let another take his office of overseer.
9 তার সন্তানেরা পিতৃহীন হোক আর তার স্ত্রী বিধবা হোক।
Let his children be orphans, and his wife a widow.
10 তার সন্তানেরা ঘুরে বেড়ানো ভিখারি হোক; তাদের ভাঙা ঘর থেকে তারা বিতাড়িত হোক।
Let his children wander without a dwelling-place, and beg: let them be cast out of their habitations.
11 এক পাওনাদার তার সর্বস্ব কেড়ে নিক, অচেনা লোকেরা তার শ্রমের ফল লুট করে নিক।
Let [his] creditor exact all that belongs to him: and let strangers spoil his labors.
12 কেউ যেন তার প্রতি দয়া না করে, অথবা তার পিতৃহীন ছেলেমেয়েদের প্রতি কৃপা না করে।
Let him have no helper; neither let there be any one to have compassion on his fatherless children.
13 তার উত্তরপুরুষদের যেন মৃত্যু হয়, আগামী প্রজন্ম থেকে যেন তাদের নাম মুছে যায়।
Let his children be [given up] to utter destruction: in one generation let his name be blotted out.
14 সদাপ্রভু যেন তার পূর্বপুরুষদের অপরাধ স্মরণে রাখেন; তার মায়ের পাপ যেন কখনও মুছে না যায়।
Let the iniquity of his fathers be remembered before the Lord; and let not the sin of his mother be blotted out.
15 সদাপ্রভু যেন তাদের সব পাপ সর্বদা স্মরণে রাখেন, যেন তিনি তাদের নাম পৃথিবী থেকে মুঝে দেন।
Let them be before the Lord continually; and let their memorial be blotted out from the earth.
16 কেননা সে অপরের প্রতি দয়া দেখাতে অস্বীকার করেছিল, এবং দরিদ্র, অভাবী এবং ভগ্নহৃদয়কে মৃত্যুর দিকে চালিত করেছিল।
Because he remembered not to show mercy, but persecuted the needy and poor man, and [that] to kill him that was pricked in the heart.
17 সে অভিশাপ দিতে ভালোবাসত— তা যেন তার দিকেই ফিরে আসে। আশীর্বাদ দানে তার ইচ্ছা ছিল না— তা যেন তার কাছ থেকে দূরে থাকে।
He loved cursing also, and it shall come upon him; and he took not pleasure in blessing, so it shall be removed far from him.
18 অভিশাপ সে নিজের পোশাকের মতো পরেছিল; তা জলের মতো তার শরীরে আর তেলের মতো তার হাড়গোড়ে প্রবেশ করেছিল।
Yes, he put on cursing as a garment, and it is come as water into his bowels, and as oil into his bones.
19 তার অভিশাপ তার পরনের পোশাকের মতো হোক, কোমরবন্ধের মতো তার দেহে চিরকাল জড়ানো হোক।
Let it be to him as a garment which he puts on, and as a girdle with which he girds himself continually.
20 সেই অভিশাপ সদাপ্রভুর প্রতিফল হোক, আমার অভিযোগকারীদের প্রতি হোক যারা আমার সম্বন্ধে মন্দ কথা বলে।
This is the dealing of the Lord with those who falsely accuse me, and of them that speak evil against my soul.
21 কিন্তু তুমি, হে সার্বভৌম সদাপ্রভু, তোমার নামের গুণে আমাকে সাহায্য করো, তোমার প্রেমের মহিমায় আমাকে উদ্ধার করো।
But you, O Lord, Lord, deal [mercifully] with me, for your name's sake: for your mercy is good.
22 কারণ আমি দরিদ্র ও অভাবী, এবং আমার হৃদয় ঘায়েল হয়েছে।
Deliver me, for I am poor and needy; and my heart is troubled within me.
23 সান্ধ্য ছায়ার মতো আমি বিলীন হয়ে যাই; পঙ্গপালের মতো আমাকে দূর করা হয়।
I am removed as a shadow in its going down: I am tossed up and down like locusts.
24 উপবাসে আমার হাঁটু দুর্বল হয়েছে, আমার দেহ শীর্ণ ও শুষ্ক হয়েছে।
My knees are weakened through fasting, and my flesh is changed by reason of [the lack of] oil.
25 আমার অভিযোগকারীদের কাছে আমি অবজ্ঞার পাত্র হয়েছি; যখন তারা আমাকে দেখে তখন তারা ঘৃণায় মাথা নাড়ায়।
I became also a reproach to them: [when] they saw me they shook their heads.
26 হে সদাপ্রভু, আমার ঈশ্বর, আমাকে সাহায্য করো; তোমার অবিচল প্রেমের গুণে আমাকে উদ্ধার করো।
Help me, O Lord my God; and save me according to your mercy.
27 যেন তারা জানতে পারে যে, এ তোমার হাতের কাজ, তুমিই, হে সদাপ্রভু, এসব করেছ।
And let them know that this is your hand; and [that] you, Lord, have wrought it.
28 তারা অভিশাপ দিক, কিন্তু তুমি আশীর্বাদ দিয়ো; যারা আমাকে আক্রমণ করে, তারা যেন লজ্জায় পড়ে, কিন্তু তোমার দাস আনন্দ করুক।
Let them curse, but you shall bless: let them that rise up against me be ashamed, but let your servant rejoice.
29 আমার অভিযোগকারীরা অপমানে আবৃত হোক, এবং আলখাল্লার মতো লজ্জায় আচ্ছাদিত হোক।
Let those that falsely accuse me be clothed with shame, and let them cover themselves with their shame as with a mantle.
30 আমার মুখ দিয়ে আমি সদাপ্রভুর উচ্চপ্রশংসা করব; আরাধনাকারীদের মহাসভায় আমি তোমার প্রশংসা করব।
I will give thanks to the Lord abundantly with my mouth; and in the midst of many I will praise him.
31 কারণ যারা দরিদ্রদের শাস্তি দিতে উদ্যত তাদের কবল থেকে রক্ষা করার উদ্দেশে তিনি দরিদ্রদের ডানদিকে দাঁড়িয়ে আছেন।
For he stood on the right hand of the poor, to save [me] from them that persecute my soul.
