গীতসংহিতা 108
1 দাউদের সংগীত। হে ঈশ্বর, আমার হৃদয় তোমাতে অবিচল; আমি আমার সমস্ত প্রাণ দিয়ে গান গাইব ও সংগীত রচনা করব।
A Song [or] Psalm of David. O God, my heart is fixed; I will sing and give praise, even with my glory.
2 জেগে ওঠো, বীণা ও সুরবাহার! আমি প্রত্যুষকে জাগিয়ে তুলব।
Awake, psaltery and harp: I [myself] will awake early.
3 হে সদাপ্রভু, জাতিদের মাঝে আমি তোমার প্রশংসা করব; লোকেদের মাঝে আমি তোমার স্তব করব।
I will praise thee, O LORD, among the people: and I will sing praises to thee among the nations.
4 কারণ তোমার অবিচল প্রেম আকাশমণ্ডলের ঊর্ধ্বে; তোমার বিশ্বস্ততা গগনচুম্বী।
For thy mercy [is] great above the heavens: and thy truth [reacheth] to the clouds.
5 হে ঈশ্বর, আকাশমণ্ডলের ঊর্ধ্বে গৌরবান্বিত হও; তোমার মহিমা সারা পৃথিবীতে ব্যাপ্ত হোক।
Be thou exalted, O God, above the heavens: and thy glory above all the earth;
6 তোমার ডান হাত দিয়ে তুমি আমাদের রক্ষা করো ও সাহায্য করো, যেন তারা উদ্ধার পায় যাদের তুমি ভালোবাসো।
That thy beloved may be delivered: save [with] thy right hand, and answer me.
7 ঈশ্বর তাঁর পবিত্রস্থান থেকে কথা বলেছেন: “জয়ধ্বনিতে আমি শিখিম বিভক্ত করব, সুক্কোতের উপত্যকা আমি পরিমাপ করে দেব।
God hath spoken in his holiness; I will rejoice, I will divide Shechem, and measure out the valley of Succoth.
8 গিলিয়দ আমার, মনঃশিও আমার; ইফ্রয়িম আমার শিরস্ত্রাণ, যিহূদা আমার রাজদণ্ড।
Gilead [is] mine; Manasseh [is] mine; Ephraim also [is] the strength of my head; Judah [is] my lawgiver;
9 মোয়াব আমার হাত ধোয়ার পাত্র, ইদোমের উপরে আমি আমার চটি নিক্ষেপ করব; ফিলিস্তিয়ার উপরে আমি জয়ধ্বনি করব।”
Moab [is] my washpot; over Edom will I cast out my shoe; over Philistia will I triumph.
10 কে আমাকে সুরক্ষিত নগরের মধ্যে নিয়ে যাবে? কে ইদোম পর্যন্ত আমাকে পথ দেখাবে?
Who will bring me into the strong city: who will lead me into Edom?
11 হে ঈশ্বর, তুমি কি আমাদের ত্যাগ করেছ? তুমি কি আমাদের সৈন্যদলের সাথে আর যাবে না?
[Wilt] not [thou], O God, [who] hast cast us off? and wilt not thou, O God, go forth with our armies?
12 আমাদের শত্রুদের বিরুদ্ধে সাহায্য করো, কারণ মানুষের সাহায্য নিষ্ফল।
Give us help from trouble: for vain [is] the help of man.
13 ঈশ্বরের সাথে আমরা জয়লাভ করব, এবং তিনি আমাদের শত্রুদের পদদলিত করবেন।
Through God we shall do valiantly: for he will tread down our enemies.
