1 ইস্রায়েলীরা মিশর থেকে বের হয়ে আসার পর দ্বিতীয় বছরের, দ্বিতীয় মাসের, প্রথম দিনে, সদাপ্রভু সীনয় মরুভূমিতে সমাগম তাঁবুর মধ্যে মোশির সঙ্গে কথা বললেন। তিনি বললেন,
