1 পরে তৈমনীয় ইলীফস উত্তর দিলেন:
And he answered Eliphaz the Temanite and he said.
2 “কোনও মানুষ কি ঈশ্বরের পক্ষে লাভজনক হবে? একজন জ্ঞানবানও কি তাঁর উপকার করতে পারবে?
¿ To God will he be of use a man for will he be of use? on him a wise [person].
3 তুমি ধার্মিক হলেও তা সর্বশক্তিমানকে কী আনন্দ দেবে? তোমার আচরণ অনিন্দনীয় হলেও তাতে তাঁর কী লাভ?
¿ [does] pleasure [belong] to [the] Almighty That you are righteous and or? profit that you make blameless ways your.
4 “তোমার ভক্তি দেখেই কি তিনি তোমাকে তিরস্কার করেন ও তোমার বিরুদ্ধে অভিযোগ আনেন?
¿ From fear your does he reprove you does he go? with you in judgment.
5 তোমার দুষ্টতা কি অত্যধিক নয়? তোমার পাপগুলিও কি অপার নয়?
¿ Not [is] evil your great and not? an end [belongs] to iniquities your.
6 অকারণে তুমি তোমার আত্মীয়দের কাছ থেকে জামানত চেয়েছ; তুমি লোকদের পরনের পোশাক কেড়ে নিয়েছ, তাদের উলঙ্গ করে ছেড়েছ।
For you have held in pledge brothers your without cause and [the] garments of naked [people] you have stripped off.
7 তুমি ক্লান্ত মানুষকে জল দাওনি ও ক্ষুধার্ত মানুষকে খাদ্য দিতে অসম্মত হয়েছ,
Not water [the] weary you have given to drink and from [the] hungry you have withheld bread.
8 যদিও তুমি এক ক্ষমতাপরায়ণ লোক, দেশের অধিকারী ছিলে— এমন এক সম্মানিত লোক ছিলে, যে সেখানেই বসবাস করত।
And a person of arm [belongs] to him the land and [one] uplifted of face he dwells in it.
9 আর তুমি বিধবাদের খালি হাতে বিদায় করতে, ও পিতৃহীনদের শক্তি চূর্ণ করতে।
Widows you have sent away with empty hands and [the] arms of fatherless ones it has been crushed.
10 সেইজন্যই তোমার চারপাশে ফাঁদ পাতা আছে, আকস্মিক বিপদ তোমাকে আতঙ্কিত করে,
There-fore [are] around you snares and it terrifies you dread suddenly.
11 এত অন্ধকার হয়েছে যে তুমি দেখতে পাচ্ছ না, ও জলের বন্যা তোমাকে ঢেকে ফেলেছে।
Or darkness not you will see and abundance of water it covers you.
12 “ঈশ্বর কি স্বর্গের উচ্চতায় বিরাজমান নন? আর দেখো অতি উচ্চে অবস্থিত তারাগুলি কত উঁচু!
¿ Not [is] God [the] height of heaven and look at [the] top of [the] stars that they are high.
13 তবুও তুমি বলো, ‘ঈশ্বর কী-ই বা জানেন? এ ধরনের অন্ধকার দিয়ে তিনি কি বিচার করেন?
And you say what? does he know God ¿ through thick darkness will he judge.
14 ঘন মেঘ তাঁকে আড়াল করে রাখে, তাই তিনি আমাদের দেখতে পান না যেহেতু তিনি খিলানযুক্ত আকাশমণ্ডলে বিচরণ করেন।’
Clouds [are] a hiding place of him and not he will see and [the] circle of heaven he walks about.
15 তুমি কি সেই পুরানো পথই ধরবে যে পথে দুষ্টেরা পা ফেলেছিল?
¿ A path of antiquity will you keep which they have trodden men of wickedness.
16 তাদের তো অকালেই উঠিয়ে নেওয়া হয়েছিল, তাদের ভিত্তিমূল বন্যায় ভেসে গিয়েছে।
Who they were snatched away and not an appropriate time a river it was poured out foundation their.
17 তারা ঈশ্বরকে বলেছিল, ‘আমাদের ছেড়ে দাও! সর্বশক্তিমান আমাদের কী করবেন?’
Who were saying to God depart from us and what? will he do [the] Almighty to them.
18 অথচ তিনিই তাদের বাড়িঘর ভালো ভালো জিনিসপত্রে ভরিয়ে দিয়েছিলেন, তাই আমি দুষ্টদের পরিকল্পনা থেকে দূরে সরে দাঁড়াই।
And he he filled houses their good thing[s] and [the] counsel of wicked [people] it is far from me.
19 ধার্মিকেরা তাদের বিনাশ দেখে ও আনন্দ করে; নির্দোষেরা তাদের বিদ্রুপ করে বলে,
They see [it] righteous [people] so they may rejoice and [the] innocent he mocks them.
20 ‘আমাদের শত্রুরা নিশ্চয় ধ্বংস হয়েছে, ও আগুন তাদের ধনসম্পদ গ্রাস করেছে।’
If not he has been destroyed adversary our and abundance their it has consumed fire.
21 “ঈশ্বরের হাতে নিজেকে সমর্পণ করো ও শান্তি পাও; এভাবেই তুমি সমৃদ্ধিলাভ করবে।
Be reconciled please with him and be at peace by them it will come to you good.
22 তাঁর মুখ থেকে শিক্ষাগ্রহণ করো ও তোমার হৃদয়ে তাঁর বাক্য সঞ্চয় করে রাখো।
Accept please from mouth his instruction and put words his in heart your.
23 তুমি যদি সর্বশক্তিমানের দিকে ফেরো, তবে তুমি পুনঃস্থাপিত হবে: তুমি যদি তোমার তাঁবু থেকে দুষ্টতা দূর করো
If you will return to [the] Almighty you will be built up you will remove injustice from tent your.
24 ও তোমার সোনার তাল ধুলোতে রাখো, তোমার ওফীরের সোনা গিরিখাতের পাষাণ-পাথরের মধ্যে রাখো,
And put on [the] dust gold and among [the] rock[s] of wadis gold of Ophir.
25 তবে সর্বশক্তিমানই তোমার সোনা হবেন, তোমার জন্য অসাধারণ রুপো হবেন।
And he will be [the] Almighty gold your and silver of heaps for you.
26 তখন নিশ্চয় তুমি সর্বশক্তিমানে আনন্দ খুঁজে পাবে ও তোমার মুখ ঈশ্বরের দিকে তুলে ধরবে।
For then on [the] Almighty you will take delight and you may lift up to God face your.
27 তুমি তাঁর কাছে প্রার্থনা করবে, এবং তিনি তোমার প্রার্থনা শুনবেন, ও তুমি তোমার মানতগুলি পূরণ করবে।
You will pray to him and he will hear you and vows your you will pay.
28 তুমি যে সিদ্ধান্ত নেবে তাই সফল হবে, ও তোমার পথগুলি আলোয় উজ্জ্বল হবে।
And you may decide a matter and it may be fulfilled for you and on ways your it will shine light.
29 মানুষকে যখন অবনত করা হয় ও তুমি বলো, ‘ওদের তুলে ধরো!’ তখন তিনি হতোদ্যমকে উদ্ধার করবেন।
If people brought low and you said up! and [the] lowly of eyes he will save.
30 যে নির্দোষ নয় তিনি তাকেও উদ্ধার করবেন, তোমার হাতের পরিচ্ছন্নতায় সে উদ্ধার পাবে।”
He will deliver not an innocent [person] and he will be delivered by [the] cleanness of hands your.
