1 সদাপ্রভু বলেন, “সেই সময়ে আমি হব ইস্রায়েলের সমস্ত গোষ্ঠীর ঈশ্বর, আর তারা হবে আমার প্রজা।”
At the time that [the] utterance of Yahweh I will become God for all [the] clans of Israel and they they will become for me a people.
2 সদাপ্রভু এই কথা বলেন, “যারা তরোয়ালের আঘাত থেকে রক্ষা পাবে, তারা মরুপ্রান্তরে কৃপা লাভ করবে; আর আমি এসে ইস্রায়েলকে বিশ্রাম দেব।”
Thus he says Yahweh it found favor in the wilderness [the] people of [the] survivors of [the] sword I will go to give rest it Israel.
3 বহুদিন পূর্বে, সদাপ্রভু আমাদের সামনে আবির্ভূত হয়ে বলেছিলেন, “আমি এক চিরস্থায়ী প্রেমে তোমাদের প্রেম করেছি; আমি স্নেহময় দয়ায় তোমাদের কাছে টেনেছি।
From a distance Yahweh he appeared to me and a love of perpetuity I have loved you there-fore I have prolonged to you covenant loyalty.
4 আমি তোমাদের আবার গড়ে তুলব এবং হে কুমারী-ইস্রায়েল, তোমরা পুনর্নির্মিত হবে। তোমরা আবার তোমাদের তম্বুরা তুলে নেবে এবং আনন্দকারীদের সঙ্গে নৃত্য করতে যাবে।
Again I will build you and you will be rebuilt O virgin of Israel again you will ornament yourself tambourines your and you will go forth in [the] dancing of merry makers.
5 তোমরা শমরিয়ার পাহাড়গুলির উপরে আবার দ্রাক্ষাক্ষেত্র প্রস্তুত করবে; কৃষকেরা চারা রোপণ করে তার ফল উপভোগ করবে।
Again you will plant vineyards on [the] hills of Samaria they will plant planters and they will put [them] to use.
6 একদিন আসবে যখন ইফ্রয়িমের পাহাড়গুলির উপর থেকে প্রহরী চিৎকার করবে ‘এসো, আমরা সিয়োনে উঠে যাই, আমাদের ঈশ্বর সদাপ্রভুর কাছে।’”
For there [will be] a day [when] they will call out watchmen in [the] hill country of Ephraim arise so we may go up Zion to Yahweh God our.
7 সদাপ্রভু এই কথা বলেন, “যাকোব কুলের জন্য আনন্দগান করো; সব জাতি থেকে অগ্রগণ্যের জন্য আনন্দধ্বনি করো। তোমাদের প্রশংসা-রব শ্রুত হোক, তোমরা বলো, ‘হে সদাপ্রভু, তোমার প্রজাদের রক্ষা করো, যারা ইস্রায়েলের অবশিষ্টাংশ।’
For thus - he says Yahweh cry out of Jacob gladness and shout for joy on [the] chief of the nations make a proclamation praise and say save O Yahweh people your [the] remnant of Israel.
8 দেখো, আমি তাদের উত্তর দিকের দেশ থেকে নিয়ে আসব, পৃথিবীর প্রান্তসীমা থেকে তাদের সংগ্রহ করব। তাদের মধ্যে থাকবে অন্ধ ও খঞ্জেরা, আসন্নপ্রসবা মা ও প্রসববেদনাগ্রস্ত নারীরা; এক মহাসমাজ এখানে ফিরে আসবে।
Here I [am] about to bring them from a land of [the] north and I will gather them from [the] remotest parts of [the] earth [will be] among them [the] blind and [the] lame [the] pregnant and [one] giving birth alike a company great they will return hither.
9 তারা রোদন করতে করতে আসবে; তাদের আমি ফিরিয়ে আনা মাত্র তারা প্রার্থনা করবে। আমি তাদের জলস্রোতের তীরে চালিত করব, তারা চলবে এমন এক সমান পথে, যেখানে হোঁচট খাবে না, কারণ আমিই ইস্রায়েলের বাবা, আর ইফ্রয়িম আমার প্রথমজাত সন্তান।
With weeping they will come and with supplications I will bring them I will lead them to torrents of water on a path straight not they will stumble in it for I have become of Israel a father and Ephraim [is] firstborn my he.
10 “হে জাতিগণ, তোমরা সদাপ্রভুর বাক্য শোনো; দূরবর্তী উপকূলগুলিতে এই কথা ঘোষণা করো, ‘যিনি ইস্রায়েলকে ছিন্নভিন্ন করেছিলেন, তিনি তাদের সংগ্রহ করবেন, এবং পালকের মতো তাঁর পালের উপরে দৃষ্টি রাখবেন।’
Hear [the] word of Yahweh O nations and declare in the islands from a distance and say [the] [one who] scattered of Israel he will gather it and he will keep it like a shepherd flock his.
11 কারণ সদাপ্রভু যাকোবকে উদ্ধার করবেন এবং তিনি তাদের চেয়েও শক্তিশালী লোকদের হাত থেকে তাদের মুক্ত করবেন।
For he has ransomed Yahweh Jacob and he has redeemed it from [the] hand of [one too] strong for it.
12 তারা সিয়োনের উঁচু স্থানগুলিতে এসে আনন্দে চিৎকার করবে; সদাপ্রভুর দেওয়া প্রাচুর্যের কারণে তারা উল্লসিত হবে, শস্যদানা, নতুন দ্রাক্ষারস ও তেল, পালের মেষশাবক ও গোবৎসদের জন্য। তারা হবে উত্তমরূপে সেচিত উদ্যানের মতো, তারা আর দুঃখ পাবে না।
And they will come and they will cry out for joy on [the] height of Zion and they will be radiant because of [the] good thing[s] of Yahweh on grain and on new wine and on fresh oil and on [the] young of [the] flock and herd and it will be life their like a garden watered and not they will repeat to languish again.
13 তখন কুমারী-কন্যারা নৃত্য করবে ও আনন্দিত হবে, যুবকেরা ও বৃদ্ধেরাও তা করবে। আমি তাদের বিলাপ আনন্দে পরিণত করব; দুঃখের পরিবর্তে আমি তাদের সান্ত্বনা ও আনন্দ দেব।
Then she will rejoice a virgin with dancing and young men and old [men] alike and I will turn mourning their into joy and I will comfort them and I will make glad them from sorrow their.
14 প্রাচুর্য দান করে আমি যাজকদের পরিতৃপ্ত করব, আমার প্রজারা আমার প্রাচুর্যে পরিপূর্ণ হবে,” সদাপ্রভু এই কথা বলেন।
And I will satisfy [the] appetite of the priests fatness and people my good thing[s] my they will be satisfied [the] utterance of Yahweh.
15 সদাপ্রভু এই কথা বলেন: “রামা-নগরে এক স্বর শোনা যাচ্ছে, হাহাকার ও তীব্র রোদনের শব্দ, রাহেল তার সন্তানদের জন্য কাঁদছেন, তিনি সান্ত্বনা পেতে চান না, কারণ তারা আর বেঁচে নেই।”
Thus - he says Yahweh a voice in Ramah [is] heard a mourning song weeping of bitterness Rachel [is] weeping on children her she has refused to be comforted on children her for there not [is] he.
16 সদাপ্রভু এই কথা বলেন: “তোমার কান্নার রব থামাও ও তোমার চোখের জল মুছে ফেলো, কারণ তোমার কাজ পুরস্কৃত হবে,” একথা সদাপ্রভু বলেন। “তারা শত্রুদের দেশ থেকে ফিরে আসবে।
Thus - he says Yahweh restrain voice your from weeping and eyes your from tear[s] for there [will be] a reward for work your [the] utterance of Yahweh and they will return from [the] land of [the] enemy.
17 তাই তোমার ভবিষ্যতের আশা আছে,” একথা সদাপ্রভু বলেন। “তোমার ছেলেমেয়েরা স্বদেশে ফিরে যাবে।
And there [is] hope for future your [the] utterance of Yahweh and they will return children to own territory their.
18 “আমি নিশ্চিতরূপে ইফ্রয়িমের কাতরধ্বনি শুনেছি: ‘কোনো অবাধ্য বাছুরের মতো তুমি আমাকে শাসন করেছ, আর আমি শাস্তি পেয়েছি। আমাকে ফিরাও, তাহলে আমি ফিরে আসব, কারণ তুমিই হলে সদাপ্রভু, আমার ঈশ্বর।
Certainly I have heard Ephraim bemoaning itself you have disciplined me and I was disciplined like a calf [which] not it had been trained restore me so let me return for you [are] Yahweh God my.
19 আমি বিপথগামী হওয়ার পর, আমি অনুতাপ করেছি; আমি সব বুঝতে পারলে আমার বুক চাপড়ালাম। আমি লজ্জিত ও অপমান বোধ করছিলাম কারণ আমি আমার যৌবনের অপমান সহ্য করেছি।’
For after turned away I I repented and after was instructed I I slapped on a thigh I was ashamed and also I was humiliated for I bore [the] reproach of youth my.
20 ইফ্রয়িম কি আমার প্রিয় পুত্র নয়? সেই বালক কি আমাকে আনন্দ দান করে না? যদিও আমি প্রায়ই তার বিরুদ্ধে কথা বলি, আমি তবুও তাকে এখনও স্মরণ করি। সেই কারণে আমার হৃদয় তার জন্য ব্যাকুল হয়; তার জন্য আমার রয়েছে বিশাল সহানুভূতি,” সদাপ্রভু এই কথা বলেন।
¿ A son dear of me [is] Ephraim or? a child of delight for as often as speak I in him certainly I remember him still there-fore they are in a tumult inward parts my for him surely I will have compassion on him [the] utterance of Yahweh.
21 “তোমরা পথনির্দেশক চিহ্ন স্থাপন করো; পথনির্দেশের ফলকগুলি লাগাও। তোমরা যে রাজপথ ধরে যাবে, সেই পথ স্মরণে রাখো। হে কুমারী-ইস্রায়েল, ফিরে এসো, তোমার নিজের নগরগুলিতে ফিরে এসো।
Set up for yourself signposts place for yourself guideposts set heart your to the highway [the] way ([which] you went *Q(K)*) return O virgin of Israel return to cities your these.
22 বিপথগামী ইস্রায়েল কন্যা, তুমি কত কাল উদ্দেশ্যহীন ঘুরে বেড়াবে? সদাপ্রভু এক নতুন বিষয় পৃথিবীতে সৃষ্টি করবেন, একজন নারী একজন পুরুষকে রক্ষা করবে।”
Until when? will you vacillate! O daughter apostate for he has created Yahweh a new [thing] on the earth a female she will surround a man.
23 বাহিনীগণের সদাপ্রভু, ইস্রায়েলের ঈশ্বর, এই কথা বলেন, “আমি যখন তাদের বন্দিত্ব থেকে ফিরিয়ে আনি, যিহূদা ও তার নগরগুলির লোকেরা পুনরায় এই কথাগুলি ব্যবহার করবে, ‘হে ধার্মিকতার নিবাস, হে পবিত্র পর্বত, সদাপ্রভু তোমাকে আশীর্বাদ করুন।’
Thus he says Yahweh of hosts [the] God of Israel again people will say the word this in [the] land of Judah and in cities its when turn back I captivity their may he bless you Yahweh O abode of righteousness O mountain of holiness.
24 যিহূদা ও তার সমস্ত নগরে, লোকেরা একসঙ্গে বসবাস করবে, কৃষকেরা ও যারা তাদের পশুপাল নিয়ে ঘুরে বেড়ায়, তারা সকলে করবে।
And they will dwell in it Judah and all cities its together farmers and they will journey with flock.
25 আমি ক্লান্তদের সতেজ করব এবং অবসন্ন প্রাণকে তৃপ্ত করব।”
For I give water to [the] throat of [the] weary and every person [who] it has become faint I fill.
26 এতে আমি জেগে উঠে চারপাশে তাকালাম। আমার নিদ্রা আমার কাছে আরামদায়ক ছিল।
On this I awoke and I looked and sleep my it was pleasing to me.
27 সদাপ্রভু বলেন, “সেই দিনগুলি আসন্ন, যখন আমি মানুষের বংশধর ও পশুদের দিয়ে ইস্রায়েলের কুল ও যিহূদার কুলকে প্রতিষ্ঠিত করব।
Here! days [are] coming [the] utterance of Yahweh and I will sow [the] house of Israel and [the] house of Judah [the] seed of humankind and [the] seed of animal[s].
28 যেভাবে আমি তাদের উপর দৃষ্টি রেখে তাদের উৎপাটন করেছি ও ছিঁড়ে ফেলেছি, তাদের ছুঁড়ে ফেলেছি, ধ্বংস ও বিপর্যয় নিয়ে এসেছি, সেভাবেই আমি তাদের রোপণ ও গঠন করার প্রতিও দৃষ্টি দেব,” সদাপ্রভু এই কথা বলেন।
And it will be just as I kept watch over them to pluck up and to pull down and to tear down and to destroy and to do harm so I will keep watch over them to build and to plant [the] utterance of Yahweh.
29 “ওই সমস্ত দিনে লোকেরা আর বলবে না, “‘বাবারা টক আঙুর খেয়েছিলেন, তাই সন্তানদের দাঁত টকে গেছে।’
In the days those not people will say again fathers they have eaten sour grape[s] and [the] teeth of children they will be blunt.
30 পরিবর্তে, সকলে তাদের নিজের নিজের পাপের জন্যই মরবে; যে টক আঙুর খাবে, তারই দাঁত টকে যাবে।
That except everyone for own iniquity his he will die every person who eats the sour grape[s] they will be blunt teeth his.
31 “সময় আসছে,” সদাপ্রভু এই কথা বলেন, “যখন আমি ইস্রায়েলের কুল ও যিহূদার বংশধরদের সঙ্গে, একটি নতুন নিয়ম স্থাপন করব।
Here! days [are] coming [the] utterance of Yahweh and I will make with [the] house of Israel and with [the] house of Judah a covenant new.
32 তাদের পূর্বপুরুষদের সঙ্গে স্থাপন করা নিয়মের মতো হবে না, যখন আমি তাদের হাত ধরে মিশর থেকে বের করে এনেছিলাম, কারণ তারা আমার নিয়ম ভেঙেছিল, যদিও তাদের কাছে আমি এক স্বামীর মতো ছিলাম,” সদাপ্রভু এই কথা বলেন।
Not like the covenant which I made with ancestors their on [the] day took hold I on hand their to bring out them from [the] land of Egypt who they they broke covenant my and I I was a husband over them [the] utterance of Yahweh.
33 “সেই সময়ের পরে, আমি ইস্রায়েল কুলের সঙ্গে এই নিয়ম স্থাপন করব,” সদাপ্রভু এই কথা বলেন, “আমি তাদের মনে আমার বিধান দেব এবং তাদের হৃদয়ে তা লিখে দেব। আমি তাদের ঈশ্বর হব আর তারা আমার প্রজা হবে।
That this [is] the covenant which I will make with [the] house of Israel after the days those [the] utterance of Yahweh I will put law my in inner being their and on heart their I will write it and I will become for them God and they they will become for me a people.
34 কোনো মানুষ তার প্রতিবেশীকে শেখাবে না বা একে অপরকে বলবে না, ‘তুমি সদাপ্রভুকে জেনে নাও,’ কারণ নগণ্যতম জন থেকে মহত্তম ব্যক্তি পর্যন্ত, তারা সবাই আমার পরিচয় পাবে,” সদাপ্রভু এই কথা বলেন। “কারণ আমি তাদের পাপ ক্ষমা করব এবং তাদের অনাচারগুলি আর কোনোদিন স্মরণ করব না।”
And not they will teach again each neighbor his and each brother his saying know Yahweh for all of them they will know me from little their and unto great their [the] utterance of Yahweh that I will forgive iniquity their and sin their not I will remember again.
35 সেই সদাপ্রভু এই কথা বলেন, যিনি দিনের বেলা সূর্যকে আলো দেওয়ার জন্য নিয়োগ করেন, এবং রাতের বেলায় করেন চাঁদ ও নক্ষত্রপুঞ্জকে, যিনি সমুদ্রকে আলোড়িত করলে তার তরঙ্গমালা গর্জন করে— বাহিনীগণের সদাপ্রভু তাঁর নাম:
Thus - he says Yahweh [who] gives [the] sun for light by day [the] fixed order of [the] moon and [the] stars for light night [who] stirs up the sea and they roared waves its [is] Yahweh of hosts name his.
36 “কেবলমাত্র এসব বিধিবিধান যদি আমার দৃষ্টিপথ থেকে অন্তর্হিত হয়,” সদাপ্রভু ঘোষণা করেন, “তাহলে ইস্রায়েলের বংশধরেরাও আমার সামনে আর জাতিরূপে অবশিষ্ট থাকবে না।”
If they will depart the fixed order these from to before me [the] utterance of Yahweh also [the] offspring of Israel they will cease from being a nation before me all the days.
37 সদাপ্রভু এই কথা বলেন: “যদি ঊর্ধ্বস্থিত আকাশমণ্ডলের পরিমাপ করা যায় এবং পৃথিবীর ভিত্তিমূলগুলির অনুসন্ধান করা যায়, তাহলেই ইস্রায়েলের বংশধরেরা যা কিছু করেছে, তার জন্য আমি তাদের অগ্রাহ্য করব,” সদাপ্রভু এই কথা বলেন।
Thus - he says Yahweh if they will be measured [the] heavens from to above so they may be explored [the] foundations of [the] earth downwards also I I will reject all [the] offspring of Israel on all that they have done [the] utterance of Yahweh.
38 “সেই দিনগুলি আসন্ন,” সদাপ্রভু ঘোষণা করেন, “যখন হননেলের দুর্গ থেকে কোণের ফটক পর্যন্ত আমার জন্য এই নগরটি পুনর্নির্মিত হবে।
Here! (days [are] coming *Q(K)*) [the] utterance of Yahweh and it will be rebuilt the city for Yahweh from [the] tower of Hananel [the] gate of the corner.
39 পরিমাপের দড়ি সেখান থেকে সোজা গারেব পাহাড় পর্যন্ত বিস্তৃত হবে এবং তারপর গোয়ার দিকে ঘুরে যাবে।
And it will go out again ([the] line of *Q(K)*) measurement before itself to [the] hill of Gareb and it will turn Goah towards.
40 সমস্ত উপত্যকাটি, যেখানে মৃতদেহ ও ভস্ম নিক্ষেপ করা হয় এবং পূর্বদিকে কিদ্রোণ উপত্যকা থেকে অশ্ব-ফটকের কোণ পর্যন্ত সমস্ত ক্ষেত্রটি সদাপ্রভুর উদ্দেশ্যে পবিত্র হবে। এই নগর আর কখনও উৎপাটিত বা ধ্বংস করা হবে না।”
And all the valley of the corpses - and the fatty ash and all (the terraced fields *Q(K)*) to [the] wadi of Kidron to [the] corner of [the] gate of the horses east-ward [will be] holy to Yahweh not it will be plucked up and not it will be torn down again for ever.
