1 “ওঠো, প্রদীপ্ত হও, কারণ তোমার দীপ্তি উপস্থিত হয়েছে, সদাপ্রভুর গৌরব তোমার উপরে উদিত হল।
Arise, shine, for thy light has come, and the glory of Jehovah has risen upon thee.
2 দেখো, অন্ধকার পৃথিবীতে ছেয়ে গেছে, ঘন অন্ধকার জাতিসমূহকে আবৃত করেছে, কিন্তু সদাপ্রভু তোমার উপরে উদিত হয়েছেন, তাঁর মহিমা তোমার উপরে প্রত্যক্ষ হয়েছে।
For, behold, darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the peoples. But Jehovah will arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee.
3 বিভিন্ন জাতি তোমার দীপ্তির কাছে আসবে, রাজারা আসবে তোমার ভোরের উজ্জ্বলতার কাছে।
And nations shall come to thy light, and kings to the brightness of thy rising.
4 “তোমার দু-চোখ তুলে চারপাশে তাকিয়ে দেখো: সবাই একসঙ্গে তোমার কাছে এসেছে; তোমার ছেলেরা দূর থেকে আসছে, তোমার মেয়েদের কোলে বহন করে আনা হচ্ছে।
Lift up thine eyes round about, and see. They all gather themselves together. They come to thee. Thy sons shall come from far, and thy daughters shall be carried in the arms.
5 তখন তুমি তা দেখে দীপ্যমান হবে, তোমার হৃদয় স্পন্দিত হয়ে আনন্দে স্ফীত হবে; সমুদ্রের ঐশ্বর্য তোমার কাছে আনা হবে, তোমার কাছেই আনীত হবে জাতিসমূহের সব সম্পদ।
Then thou shall see and be radiant, and thy heart shall thrill and be enlarged, because the abundance of the sea shall be turned to thee. The wealth of the nations shall come to thee.
6 উটের পাল তোমার দেশে ছেয়ে যাবে, মিদিয়ন ও ঐফার উটে দেশ ভরে যাবে। আর শিবা থেকে সবাই বহন করে আনবে সোনা ও ধূপ, তারা সদাপ্রভুর স্তব ঘোষণা করবে।
The multitude of camels shall cover thee. The dromedaries of Midian and Ephah, all those from Sheba shall come. They shall bring gold and frankincense, and shall proclaim the praises of Jehovah.
7 কেদরের সমস্ত পশুপাল তোমার কাছে সংগৃহীত হবে, নবায়োতের মেষেরা তোমার সেবা করবে; সেগুলি আমার বেদিতে নৈবেদ্যরূপে গৃহীত হবে, আর আমি আমার মহিমাময় মন্দির সুশোভিত করব।
All the flocks of Kedar shall be gathered together to thee. The rams of Nebaioth shall minister to thee. They shall come up with acceptance on my altar, and I will glorify the house of my glory.
8 “এরা কারা, যারা মেঘের মতো উড়ে আসছে, নিজেদের বাসার প্রতি ঘুঘুর মতো আসছে?
Who are these that fly as a cloud, and as the doves to their windows?
9 নিশ্চয়ই দ্বীপগুলি আমার প্রতি দৃষ্টি করে, তাদের নেতৃত্ব দেয় তর্শীশের সব জাহাজ। সেগুলি তোমার সন্তানদের দূর থেকে আনবে, সঙ্গে থাকবে তাদের রুপো আর সোনা, তা হবে তোমার ঈশ্বর সদাপ্রভুর নামের জন্য, তিনিই ইস্রায়েলের সেই পবিত্রতম জন, কারণ তিনিই তোমাকে বিভূষিত করেছেন।
Surely the isles shall wait for me, and the ships of Tarshish first, to bring thy sons from far, their silver and their gold with them, for the name of Jehovah thy God, and for the Holy One of Israel, because he has glorified thee.
10 “বিজাতিয়েরা তোমার প্রাচীরগুলি পুনর্নির্মাণ করবে, তাদের রাজারা তোমার সেবা করবে। যদিও ক্রোধে আমি তোমাকে আঘাত করেছিলাম, অনুগ্রহে আমি তোমার প্রতি সহানুভূতি প্রদর্শন করব।
And foreigners shall build up thy walls, and their kings shall minister to thee. For in my wrath I smote thee, but in my favor I have had mercy on thee.
11 তোমার তোরণদ্বারগুলি সবসময়ই খোলা থাকবে, দিনে বা রাতে, সেগুলি কখনও বন্ধ করা হবে না, যেন লোকেরা তোমার কাছে জাতিসমূহের ঐশ্বর্য নিয়ে আসে— তাদের রাজারা বিজয় মিছিলের সামনে সামনে চলবে।
Thy gates also shall be open continually. They shall not be shut day nor night, that men may bring to thee the wealth of the nations, and their kings led captive.
12 কারণ যে দেশ বা রাজ্য তোমার সেবা করবে না, তা ধ্বংস হবে; তা সম্পূর্ণরূপে ধ্বংসপ্রাপ্ত হবে।
For that nation and kingdom that will not serve thee shall perish. Yea, those nations shall be utterly wasted.
13 “লেবাননের গৌরব তোমার কাছে আসবে, দেবদারু, ঝাউ ও চিরহরিৎ গাছ একসঙ্গে আসবে, যেন আমার পবিত্র ধামকে সুশোভিত করতে পারে; আর আমি আমার পা রাখার স্থানকে গৌরব দান করব।
The glory of Lebanon shall come to thee, the fir tree, the pine, and the box tree together, to beautify the place of my sanctuary. And I will make the place of my feet glorious.
14 তোমার প্রতি অত্যাচারকারী লোকেদের সন্তানেরা প্রণত হয়ে তোমার কাছে আসবে; যারাই তোমাকে অবজ্ঞা করেছিল, তারা তোমার পায়ে প্রণিপাত করবে এবং তোমার উদ্দেশে বলবে, এ সদাপ্রভুর নগরী, ইস্রায়েলের পবিত্রতমজনের সিয়োন।
And the sons of those who afflicted thee shall come bending to thee. And all those who despised thee shall bow themselves down at the soles of thy feet. And they shall call thee The city of Jehovah, The Zion of the Holy One of Israel.
15 “যদিও তুমি পরিত্যক্ত ও ঘৃণিত হয়েছিলে, কেউ তোমার মধ্য দিয়ে যাতায়াত করত না, আমি তোমাকে চিরকালীন গর্বের স্থান এবং বংশপরম্পরায় সকলের আনন্দের কারণ করব।
Whereas thou have been forsaken and hated, so that no man passed through thee, I will make thee an eternal excellency, a joy of many generations.
16 তুমি জাতিসমূহের দুধ পান করবে, রাজাদের ঐশ্বর্য গ্রাস করবে। তখন তুমি জানতে পারবে যে, আমি সদাপ্রভুই তোমার পরিত্রাতা, তোমার মুক্তিদাতা, যাকোবের সেই পরাক্রমী জন।
Thou shall also suck the milk of the nations, and shall suck the breast of kings. And thou shall know that I, Jehovah, am thy Savior, and thy Redeemer, the Mighty One of Jacob.
17 আমি তোমার কাছে পিতলের পরিবর্তে সোনা ও লোহার পরিবর্তে রুপো নিয়ে আসব। আমি কাঠের পরিবর্তে পিতল এবং পাথরের পরিবর্তে লোহা নিয়ে আসব। আমি শান্তিকে তোমার নিয়ন্ত্রণকারী করব, ধার্মিকতা হবে তোমার প্রশাসক।
For brass I will bring gold, and for iron I will bring silver, and for wood brass, and for stones iron. I will also make thy officers peace, and thine overseers righteousness.
18 তোমার দেশে উপদ্রবের কথা, তোমার সীমানার মধ্যে ধ্বংস বা বিনাশের কথা, আর শোনা যাবে না; কিন্তু তুমি তোমার প্রাচীরগুলিকে বলবে পরিত্রাণ এবং তোরণদ্বারগুলিকে বলবে প্রশংসা।
Violence shall no more be heard in thy land, desolation nor destruction within thy borders, but thou shall call thy walls Salvation, and thy gates Praise.
19 দিনের বেলা সূর্য আর তোমার জ্যোতিস্বরূপ হবে না, চাঁদের জ্যোৎস্নাও আর তোমাকে আলো দেবে না, কারণ সদাপ্রভু হবেন তোমার চিরস্থায়ী জ্যোতি, তোমার ঈশ্বরই হবেন তোমার গৌরব।
The sun shall no more be thy light by day, nor for brightness shall the moon give light to thee, but Jehovah will be to thee an everlasting light, and thy God thy glory.
20 তোমার সূর্য আর অস্তমিত হবে না, তোমার চাঁদের আলো আর ক্ষীণ হবে না; সদাপ্রভুই হবেন তোমার চিরজ্যোতি, আর তোমার দুঃখকষ্টের দিন শেষ হবে।
Thy sun shall no more go down, nor shall thy moon withdraw itself, for Jehovah will be thine everlasting light. And the days of thy mourning shall be ended.
21 তখন তোমার সমস্ত প্রজা ধার্মিক হবে, তারা চিরকালের জন্য দেশের অধিকারী হবে। তারাই সেই চারাগাছ, যা আমি রোপণ করেছিলাম, তারা আমার নিজের হাতের কাজ, যেন আমার সৌন্দর্যের বিভব প্রদর্শিত হয়।
Thy people also shall all be righteous. They shall inherit the land forever, the branch of my planting, the work of my hands, that I may be glorified.
22 তোমার মধ্যে নগণ্যতম জন এক সহস্রের সমান হবে, ক্ষুদ্রতম জন হবে এক শক্তিশালী জাতিস্বরূপ। আমিই সদাপ্রভু; যথাসময়ে আমি তা দ্রুত সম্পন্ন করব।”
The little one shall become a thousand, and the small one a strong nation. I, Jehovah, will hasten it in its time.
