1 জাগো, জাগো, ওহে সিয়োন, তুমি নিজেকে শক্তি পরিহিত করো! ওহে পবিত্র নগরী জেরুশালেম, তোমার সৌন্দর্যের পোশাকগুলি পরে নাও। ত্বকছেদহীন ও কলুষিত লোকেরা আর তোমার মধ্যে প্রবেশ করবে না।
Awake, awake! Put on your strength, Zion [Mountain ridge, Marking]. Put on your beautiful garments, Jerusalem [City of peace], the holy city: for from now on the uncircumcised and the unclean will no more come into you.
2 তোমার গায়ের ধুলো ঝেড়ে ফেলো; ওহে জেরুশালেম, ওঠো, সিংহাসনে বসো। ওহে সিয়োনের বন্দি কন্যা, তোমার ঘাড়ের শৃঙ্খল থেকে নিজেকে মুক্ত করো।
Shake yourself from the dust! Arise, sit up, Jerusalem [City of peace]! Release yourself from the bonds of your neck, captive daughter of Zion [Mountain ridge, Marking]!
3 কারণ সদাপ্রভু এই কথা বলেন, “তোমাকে বিনামূল্যে বিক্রি করা হয়েছে, অর্থ ছাড়াই তোমাকে মুক্ত করা হবে।”
For Adonai says, “You were sold for nothing; and you will be redeemed without money.”
4 কারণ সার্বভৌম সদাপ্রভু এই কথা বলেন: “আমার প্রজারা প্রথমে মিশরে প্রবাস করতে গিয়েছিল; পরে আসিরিয়া তাদের উপরে অত্যাচার করেছে।
For thus says 'Adonay Adonai [Lord Yahweh]: “My people went down at the first into Egypt [Abode of slavery] to live there: and the Assyrian has oppressed them without cause.
5 “আর এখন এখানে আমার আর কী আছে?” বলেন সদাপ্রভু। “কারণ আমার প্রজারা বিনামূল্যে নীত হয়েছে, যারা তাদের শাসন করে, তারা উপহাস করে,” একথা বলেন সদাপ্রভু। “সমস্ত দিন ধরে, আমার নাম প্রতিনিয়ত নিন্দিত হয়।
“Now therefore, what do I do here,” says Adonai, “seeing that my people are taken away for nothing? Those who rule over them mock,” says Adonai, “and my name is blasphemed continually all the day.
6 সেই কারণে আমার প্রজারা আমার নাম জানতে পারবে; সেই কারণে সেদিন তারা জানতে পারবে যে আমিই একথা পূর্বঘোষণা করেছিলাম, হ্যাঁ, আমিই একথা বলেছিলাম।”
Therefore my people shall know my name. Therefore they shall know in that day that I am he who speaks. Behold, it is I.”
7 আহা, পর্বতগণের উপরে যারা সুসমাচার প্রচার করে, তাদের চরণ কতই না সুন্দর, যে শান্তির বার্তা ঘোষণা করে, যে মঙ্গলের সমাচার নিয়ে আসে, যে পরিত্রাণের বার্তা ঘোষণা করে, যে সিয়োনকে বলে, “তোমার ঈশ্বর রাজত্ব করেন!”
How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of him who brings good news, who sh'ma ·hear obey, declares· peace, who brings good news, who sh'ma ·hear obey, proclaims· yishu'ah ·salvation·, who says to Zion [Mountain ridge, Marking], “Your God reigns!”
8 শোনো! তোমার প্রহরীরা তাদের কণ্ঠস্বর উচ্চগ্রামে তুলেছে; তারা একসঙ্গে আনন্দে চিৎকার করে। যখন সদাপ্রভু সিয়োনে ফিরে আসবেন, তারা স্বচক্ষে তা দেখতে পাবে।
Your watchmen lift up their voice, together they sing; for they shall see eye to eye, when Adonai makes teshuvah ·complete return· to Zion [Mountain ridge, Marking].
9 জেরুশালেমের ধ্বংসস্তূপগুলি, তোমরা একসঙ্গে আনন্দগানে ফেটে পড়ো, কারণ সদাপ্রভু তাঁর প্রজাদের সান্ত্বনা দিয়েছেন, তিনি জেরুশালেমকে মুক্ত করেছেন।
Break out into joy, sing together, you waste places of Jerusalem [City of peace]; for Adonai has comforted his people. He has redeemed Jerusalem [City of peace].
10 সদাপ্রভু সমস্ত জাতির দৃষ্টিতে, তাঁর পবিত্র হাত অনাবৃত করবেন, আর পৃথিবীর সমস্ত প্রান্ত আমাদের ঈশ্বরের পরিত্রাণ দেখতে পাবে।
Adonai has made bare his holy arm in the eyes of all the nations; and all the ends of the earth have seen the את yishu'ah ·salvation· of our God.
11 বের হও, বের হও, ওই স্থান ছেড়ে চলে যাও! কোনো অশুচি বস্তু স্পর্শ কোরো না! তোমরা যারা সদাপ্রভুর পাত্রসকল বহন করো, তোমরা ওর মধ্য থেকে বেরিয়ে এসো ও পবিত্র হও।
Depart, depart, go out from there; touch no unclean thing! Go out from among her! Cleanse yourselves, you who carry Adonai’s temple equipment.
12 কিন্তু তোমরা দ্রুত স্থান ত্যাগ করবে না বা সেখান থেকে পালিয়ে যাবে না; কারণ সদাপ্রভু তোমাদের সামনে সামনে যাবেন, ইস্রায়েলের ঈশ্বর তোমাদের পিছনে প্রহরা দেবেন।
For you shall not go out in haste, neither shall you go by flight: for Adonai will go before you; and the God of Israel [God prevails] will be your rear guard.
13 দেখো, আমার দাস প্রজ্ঞাপূর্বক ব্যবহার করবেন; তিনি উন্নীত হবেন, তাঁকে উচ্চে তুলে ধরা হবে ও তিনি হবেন অপার মহিমান্বিত।
Behold, my servant will deal wisely. He will be exalted and lifted up, and will be very high.
14 তাঁর অবয়ব এমন বিকৃত করা হয়েছিল, যেমন কোনো মানুষের করা হয়নি, তাঁকে এমন শ্রীভ্রষ্ট করা হয়েছিল যে, মানুষ বলে চেনা যাচ্ছিল না, তাই, অনেকে তাঁকে দেখে মর্মাহত হয়েছিল।
Just as many were astonished at you (his appearance was marred more than any man, and his form more than the sons of men),
15 সেই কারণে, তিনি অনেক জাতিকে হতচকিত করবেন, তার কারণে রাজারা তাদের মুখ বন্ধ করবে। কারণ যা তাদের বলা হয়নি, তা তারা দেখবে এবং যা তারা শোনেননি, তা তারা বুঝতে পারবে।
so he will cleanse many nations. Kings will shut their mouths at him: for they will see that which had not been told them; and that which they did not sh'ma ·hear obey· they will consider and understand.
