যিশাইয় ভাববাদীর বই 26
1 সেদিন যিহূদার দেশে এই গীত গাওয়া হবে: আমাদের আছে এক দৃঢ় নগর; আমরা ঈশ্বরের পরিত্রাণস্বরূপ প্রাচীর ও প্রাকার-বেষ্টিত আছি।
In that day shall this song be sung in the land of Iudah, We haue a strong citie: saluation shall God set for walles and bulwarkes.
2 এর তোরণদ্বারগুলি তোমরা খুলে দাও যেন সেই ধার্মিক জাতি এর মধ্যে প্রবেশ করতে পারে, সেই জাতি, যারা বিশ্বাস রক্ষা করেছে।
Open ye the gates that the righteous nation, which keepeth the trueth, may enter in.
3 তাকে তুমি পূর্ণ শান্তিতেই রাখবে, যার মন সুস্থির, কারণ সে তোমার উপরে নির্ভর করে।
By an assured purpose wilt thou preserue perfite peace, because they trusted in thee.
4 তোমরা চিরকাল সদাপ্রভুর উপরে নির্ভর করো, কারণ সদাপ্রভু, সেই সদাপ্রভুই হলেন শাশ্বত শৈল।
Trust in the Lord for euer: for in the Lord God is strength for euermore.
5 যারা উচ্চ স্থানে বসবাস করে, তিনি তাদের অবনত করেন, তিনি উঁচুতে থাকা সেই নগরীকে নামিয়ে আনেন; তিনি তাকে ধরাশায়ী করেন, এমনকি, তাকে মাটির সঙ্গে মিশিয়ে দেন।
For hee will bring downe them that dwell on hie: the hie citie he will abase: euen vnto the ground wil he cast it downe, and bring it vnto dust.
6 অত্যাচারী ব্যক্তিদের পা, দরিদ্রদের পদক্ষেপ সেই নগরকে পদদলিত করছে।
The foote shall treade it downe, euen the feete of the poore, and the steppes of the needie.
7 ধার্মিক ব্যক্তির পথ সমতল পথ; ও ন্যায়বান ব্যক্তি, তুমি ধার্মিকের পথ মসৃণ করো।
The way of the iust is righteousnesse: thou wilt make equall the righteous path of the iust.
8 হ্যাঁ সদাপ্রভু, তোমার বিচারের বিধানগুলি পালনের জন্য আমরা অপেক্ষা করে আছি; তোমার নাম ও সুখ্যাতিই আমাদের মনের আকাঙ্ক্ষা।
Also we, O Lord, haue waited for thee in the way of thy iudgemets: the desire of our soule is to thy Name, and to the remembrance of thee.
9 রাত্রে আমার প্রাণ তোমার জন্য আকুল হয়; সকালে আমার আত্মা তোমার অপেক্ষা করে। তোমার ন্যায়বিচার যখন পৃথিবীর উপরে নেমে আসে, জগতের লোকেরা তখন ধার্মিকতা শিক্ষা করে।
With my soule haue I desired thee in the night, and with my spirit within mee will I seeke thee in the morning: for seeing thy iudgements are in the earth, the inhabitants of the world shall learne righteousnesse.
10 যদিও দুষ্টদের প্রতি অনুগ্রহ প্রদর্শিত হয়, তারা ধার্মিকতা শিক্ষা করে না; এমনকি, সততার দেশেও তারা মন্দ কর্ম করে যায় এবং সদাপ্রভুর মাহাত্ম্যকে মর্যাদা দেয় না।
Let mercie bee shewed to the wicked, yet hee will not learne righteousnesse: in the land of vprightnesse will he do wickedly, and will not beholde the maiestie of the Lord.
11 হে সদাপ্রভু, তোমার হাত উত্তোলিত হয়েছে, কিন্তু তারা তা দেখতে পায় না। তোমার প্রজাদের জন্য তারা তোমার উদ্যম দেখুক ও লজ্জিত হোক; তোমার শত্রুদের জন্য সংরক্ষিত আগুন তাদের গ্রাস করুক।
O Lord, they will not beholde thine hie hande: but they shall see it, and bee confounded with the zeale of the people, and the fire of thine enemies shall deuoure them.
12 হে সদাপ্রভু, তুমি আমাদের জন্য শান্তি প্রতিষ্ঠিত করো; আমরা যা কিছু করতে পেরেছি, সবই তুমি আমাদের জন্য করেছ।
Lord, vnto vs thou wilt ordeine peace: for thou also hast wrought all our workes for vs.
13 হে সদাপ্রভু, আমাদের ঈশ্বর, তুমি ছাড়া অন্য প্রভুরা আমাদের শাসন করেছে, কিন্তু আমরা কেবলমাত্র তোমার নামকেই সম্মান করি।
O Lord our God, other lords beside thee, haue ruled vs, but we will remember thee onely, and thy Name.
14 তারা তো এখন মৃত, তারা আর জীবিত নেই; ওই মৃত আত্মাগুলি আর উত্থিত হবে না। তুমি তাদের শাস্তি দিয়ে ধ্বংস করেছ; তুমি তাদের সমস্ত স্মৃতি লোপ করেছ।
The dead shall not liue, neither shall the dead arise, because thou hast visited and scattered them, and destroyed all their memorie.
15 হে সদাপ্রভু, তুমি এই জাতিকে বর্ধিত করেছ, তুমি এই জাতিকে বর্ধিত করেছ। তুমি নিজের জন্য গৌরব অর্জন করেছ, তুমি দেশের চারদিকের সীমানা বর্ধিত করেছ।
Thou hast increased the nation, O Lord: thou hast increased the nation: thou art made glorious: thou hast enlarged all the coastes of the earth.
16 হে সদাপ্রভু, তারা তাদের দুর্দশায় তোমার কাছে এসেছিল; তুমি যখন তাদের শাস্তি দিয়েছিলে, তারা ফিসফিস করে কোনো প্রার্থনাও করতে পারেনি।
Lord, in trouble haue they visited thee: they powred out a prayer when thy chastening was vpon them.
17 আসন্নপ্রসবা নারী শিশু জন্ম দেওয়ার সময় যেমন ব্যথায় মোচড় খায় ও ক্রন্দন করে, তোমার সামনে, হে সদাপ্রভু, আমরাও তেমনই করেছি।
Like as a woman with childe, that draweth neere to the trauaile, is in sorow, and cryeth in her paines, so haue we bene in thy sight, O Lord.
18 আমরা গর্ভধারণ করেছি, আমরা ব্যথায় আর্তনাদ করেছি, কিন্তু আমরা যেন বাতাস প্রসব করেছি। আমরা পৃথিবীর কাছে পরিত্রাণ আনয়ন করিনি, আমরা জগতের লোকদের কাছে জীবনও আনতে পারিনি।
We haue coceiued, we haue borne in paine, as though we should haue brought forth winde: there was no helpe in the earth, neither did the inhabitants of the world fall.
19 হে সদাপ্রভু, কিন্তু তোমার মৃত লোকেরা জীবন পাবে; তাদের শরীর উত্থিত হবে। তোমরা যারা ধুলিতে বসবাস করো, তোমরা জেগে ওঠো ও আনন্দে চিৎকার করো। তোমাদের শিশির সকালের শিশিরের মতো; কিন্তু পৃথিবী তার মৃতদের প্রসব করবে।
Thy dead men shall liue: euen with my body shall they rise. Awake, and sing, ye that dwel in dust: for thy dewe is as the dew of herbes, and the earth shall cast out the dead.
20 আমার প্রজারা, তোমরা যাও, তোমাদের কক্ষে প্রবেশ করো এবং তোমাদের পিছনে দরজা বন্ধ করো; যতক্ষণ না তাঁর ক্রোধ অতিক্রান্ত হয়, তোমরা একটু সময় নিজেদের লুকিয়ে রাখো।
Come, my people: enter thou into thy chambers, and shut thy doores after thee: hide thy selfe for a very litle while, vntill the indignation passe ouer.
21 দেখো, জগতের লোকদের পাপের জন্য শাস্তি দিতে সদাপ্রভু নিজের আবাস থেকে বেরিয়ে আসছেন। পৃথিবী তার উপরে সংঘটিত রক্তপাতের কথা প্রকাশ করবে, তার মধ্যে নিহত লোকেদের সে আর আচ্ছন্ন রাখবে না।
For lo, the Lord commeth out of his place, to visite the iniquitie of the inhabitants of the earth vpon them: and the earth shall disclose her blood, and shall no more hide her slaine.
