যিশাইয় ভাববাদীর বই 20
1 যে বছর আসিরীয় রাজা সর্গোনের পাঠানো প্রধান সেনাপতি অস্দোদে এসে, তা আক্রমণ করে অধিকার করেন,
In [the] year came [the] supreme commander Ashdod towards when sent him Sargon [the] king of Assyria and he fought against Ashdod and he captured it.
2 সেই সময়ে সদাপ্রভু আমোষের পুত্র যিশাইয়ের মাধ্যমে কথা বললেন। তিনি তাঁকে বললেন, “তোমার শরীর থেকে ওই শোকবস্ত্র ও পায়ের চটিজুতো খুলে নাও।” তিনি সেরকমই করলেন। তিনি নগ্ন হয়ে খালি পায়ে এদিক-ওদিক ঘুরতে লাগলেন।
At the time that he spoke Yahweh by [the] hand of Isaiah [the] son of Amoz saying go and you will loosen the sackcloth from on hips your and sandal[s] your you will take off from on feet your and he did thus he went naked and barefoot.
3 তারপরে সদাপ্রভু বললেন, “আমার দাস যিশাইয় যেমন তিন বছর নগ্ন শরীরে খালি পায়ে ঘুরে বেড়িয়েছে, তা হল এক চিহ্নস্বরূপ, আমি মিশর ও ইথিয়োপিয়ার উপরে যে ভয়ংকর কষ্টের সময় নিয়ে আসব, এ তারই নিদর্শন।
And he said Yahweh just as he has gone servant my Isaiah naked and barefoot three years a sign and a portent on Egypt and on Cush.
4 আসিরীয় রাজা এভাবেই মিশরীয় ও ইথিয়োপীয় বন্দিদের নগ্ন শরীরে ও খালি পায়ে নির্বাসনে নিয়ে যাবে। যুবা-বৃদ্ধ নির্বিশেষে, মিশরের লজ্জার জন্য, তাদের নিতম্বদেশ অনাবৃত থাকবে।
So he will lead away [the] king of Assyria [the] captive[s] of Egypt and [the] exile[s] of Cush young men and old [men] naked and barefoot and [ones] uncovered of buttock [the] nakedness of Egypt.
5 যারা ইথিয়োপিয়াকে বিশ্বাস করেছিল ও মিশরের জন্য গর্ব করেছিল, তারা ভীত ও লজ্জিত হবে।
And they will be dismayed and they will be ashamed from Cush hope their and from Egypt boasting their.
6 সেদিন, যে লোকেরা এই উপকূল অঞ্চলে বসবাস করবে, তারা বলবে, ‘দেখো, আমরা যাদের উপরে নির্ভর করেছিলাম, তাদের কী অবস্থা হয়েছে। আসিরীয় রাজার হাত থেকে রক্ষা পাওয়ার জন্য সাহায্য ও উদ্ধারলাভের আশায়, আমরা তাদেরই কাছে পলায়ন করেছিলাম! তাহলে আমরাই বা কী করে নিষ্কৃতি পাব?’”
And he will say [one who] dwells the coast this in the day that there! [is] thus hope our where we fled there for help to be delivered from before [the] king of Assyria and how? will we escape we.
