1 এই দর্শন যিহূদা ও জেরুশালেমের বিষয়ে, যা আমোষের পুত্র যিশাইয়, যিহূদার রাজা উষিয়, যোথম, আহস ও হিষ্কিয়ের সময়ে দেখতে পান।
The visioun, ether profesie, of Ysaie, the sone of Amos, which he siy on Juda and Jerusalem, in the daies of Osie, of Joathan, of Achas, and of Ezechie, kyngis of Juda.
2 আকাশমণ্ডল শোনো! পৃথিবী কর্ণপাত করো! কারণ এই কথা সদাপ্রভু বলেছেন, “আমি ছেলেমেয়েদের লালনপালন ও ভরণ-পোষণ করেছি, কিন্তু তারা আমার বিরুদ্ধে বিদ্রোহ করেছে।
Ye heuenes, here, and thou erthe, perseyue with eeris, for the Lord spak. Y haue nurschid and Y haue enhaunsid sones; sotheli thei han dispisid me.
3 গরু তার মনিবকে জানে, গর্দভ তার মালিকের জাবপাত্র চেনে, কিন্তু ইস্রায়েল তার মনিবকে জানে না, আমার প্রজারা কিছু বোঝে না।”
An oxe knew his lord, and an asse knew the cratche of his lord; but Israel knewe not me, and my puple vndurstood not.
4 আহা পাপিষ্ঠ জাতি, এমন এক প্রজাসমাজ যারা অপরাধে ভারগ্রস্ত, তারা কুকর্মীদের বংশ, যত ভ্রষ্টাচারীর সন্তান! তারা সদাপ্রভুকে ত্যাগ করেছে; তারা ইস্রায়েলের পবিত্রতমকে অবজ্ঞা করেছে, এবং তাঁর প্রতি তারা পিঠ ফিরিয়েছে।
Wo to the synful folk, to the puple heuy in wickidnesse, to the weiward seed, to the cursid sones; thei han forsake the Lord, thei han blasfemyd the hooli of Israel, thei ben aliened bacward.
5 তোমরা আর কেন মার খাবে? কেন তোমরা বিদ্রোহ করেই চলেছ? মাথার সমস্ত অংশ তোমাদের আহত হয়েছে, তোমাদের হৃদয় দুর্বল হয়ে পড়েছে।
On what thing schal Y smyte you more, that encreessen trespassyng? Ech heed is sijk, and ech herte is morenynge.
6 তোমাদের পায়ের পাতা থেকে মাথার তালু পর্যন্ত, কোথাও কোনো সুস্থ স্থান নেই, কেবলমাত্র ক্ষত আর প্রহারের চিহ্ন এবং টাটিয়ে ওঠা ঘা, তা পরিষ্কার করা কিংবা ব্যাণ্ডেজ বাঁধাও হয়নি, বা জলপাই তেল দিয়ে তা কোমলও করা হয়নি।
Fro the sole of the foot til to the nol, helthe is not ther ynne; wounde, and wannesse, and betyng bolnynge is not boundun aboute, nether curid bi medicyn, nether nurschid with oile.
7 তোমাদের দেশ পরিত্যক্ত, তোমাদের নগরগুলি অগ্নিদগ্ধ হয়েছে; তোমাদের মাঠগুলি বিদেশিরা তোমাদের চোখের সামনেই লুট করেছে, তারা পর্যুদস্ত করা মাত্র সেগুলি ছারখার হয়ে গেছে।
Youre lond is forsakun, youre citees ben brent bi fier; aliens deuouren youre cuntrei bifore you, and it schal be disolat as in the distriyng of enemyes.
8 দ্রাক্ষাকুঞ্জের কুটিরের মতো, শসা ক্ষেতের পাহারা দেওয়া কুঁড়েঘরের মতো, কোনো অবরুদ্ধ নগরীর মতো, সিয়োন-কন্যা পরিত্যক্ত পড়ে আছে।
And the douytir of Sion, `that is, Jerusalem, schal be forsakun as a schadewynge place in a vyner, and as an hulke in a place where gourdis wexen, and as a citee which is wastid.
9 সর্বশক্তিমান সদাপ্রভু যদি আমাদের জন্য কয়েকজন অবশিষ্ট মানুষ না রাখতেন, তাহলে আমাদের অবস্থা হত সদোমের মতো, আমরা হতাম ঘমোরার মতো।
If the Lord of oostis hadde not left seed to vs, we hadden be as Sodom, and we hadden be lijk as Gomorre.
10 তোমরা যারা সদোমের শাসক, তোমরা সদাপ্রভুর বাণী শোনো; তোমরা যারা ঘমোরার মানুষ, তোমরা আমাদের ঈশ্বরের বিধান শোনো!
Ye princes of men of Sodom, here the word of the Lord; and ye puple of Gommorre, perseyue with eeris the lawe of youre God.
11 “কী তোমাদের ভাবিয়েছে যে, তোমাদের অগণ্য সব বলি উৎসর্গ আমার প্রয়োজন?” সদাপ্রভু একথা বলেন। “আমার কাছে প্রয়োজনেরও বেশি হোমের পশু আছে, সব মেষ ও নধর পশুদের চর্বি আছে; ষাঁড়, মেষশাবক ও ছাগলের রক্তে আমার কোনও আনন্দ নেই।
Wherto offren ye to me the multitude of youre sacrifices? seith the Lord. Y am ful; Y wolde not the brent sacrifices of wetheris, and the ynnere fatnesse of fatte beestis, and the blood of calues, and of lambren, and of buckis of geet.
12 তোমরা যখন আমার সামনে উপস্থিত হও, কে তোমাদের কাছে এরকম চেয়েছে যে, তোমরা আমার প্রাঙ্গণ পা দিয়ে মাড়াও?
Whanne ye camen bifore my siyt, who axide of youre hondis these thingis, that ye schulden go in myn hallys?
13 অর্থহীন সব বলিদান আমার কাছে আর এনো না! তোমাদের ধূপদাহ আমার কাছে ঘৃণ্য মনে হয়। অমাবস্যা, সাব্বাথের দিন ও ধর্মীয় সভাগুলি— আমি তোমাদের এসব মন্দ জমায়েত সহ্য করতে পারি না।
Offre ye no more sacrifice in veyn; encense is abhomynacioun to me; Y schal not suffre neomenye, and sabat, and othere feestis.
14 তোমাদের অমাবস্যার উৎসবগুলি ও নির্ধারিত সব পর্ব, আমার প্রাণ ঘৃণা করে। সেগুলি আমার পক্ষে এক বোঝাস্বরূপ, যেগুলির ভার বয়ে বয়ে আমি ক্লান্ত হয়েছি।
Youre cumpenyes ben wickid; my soule hatith youre calendis and youre solempnytees; tho ben maad diseseful to me, Y trauelide suffrynge.
15 তোমরা প্রার্থনার উদ্দেশে যখন হাত প্রসারিত করো, তোমাদের কাছ থেকে আমি আমার দৃষ্টি লুকাব; তোমরা যদিও বহু প্রার্থনা উৎসর্গ করো, আমি তা শুনব না। কারণ তোমাদের হাত রক্তে পূর্ণ!
And whanne ye stretchen forth youre hondis, Y schal turne awei myn iyen fro you; and whanne ye multiplien preyer, Y schal not here; for whi youre hondis ben ful of blood.
16 তোমরা সেইসব ধুয়ে ফেলো ও নিজেদের শুচিশুদ্ধ করো। তোমাদের সব মন্দ কর্ম আমার দৃষ্টিপথ থেকে দূর করো! অন্যায় সব কর্ম করা থেকে নিবৃত্ত হও।
Be ye waischun, be ye clene; do ye awei the yuel of youre thouytis fro myn iyen; ceesse ye to do weiwardli, lerne ye to do wel.
17 যা ন্যায়সংগত, তাই করতে শেখো; ন্যায়বিচার অনুধাবন করো। অত্যাচারিত লোকেদের পাশে দাঁড়াও। পিতৃহীনদের পক্ষসমর্থন করো, বিধবাদের সপক্ষে ওকালতি করো।
Seke ye doom, helpe ye hym that is oppressid, deme ye to the fadirles and modirles child, defende ye a widewe.
18 “এবারে এসো, আমরা পরস্পর যুক্তিবিচার করি,” সদাপ্রভু একথা বলেন। “তোমাদের পাপের রং টকটকে লাল হলেও সেগুলি বরফের মতো সাদা হবে; যদিও তা গাঢ় লাল রংয়ের হয়, সেগুলি পশমের মতোই শুভ্র হবে।
And come ye, and repreue ye me, seith the Lord. Thouy youre synnes ben as blood reed, tho schulen be maad whijt as snow; and thouy tho ben reed as vermylioun, tho schulen be whijt as wolle.
19 যদি তোমরা ইচ্ছুক ও বাধ্য হও, তোমরা দেশের উৎকৃষ্ট সব ফল ভোজন করবে;
If ye wolen, and heren me, ye schulen ete the goodis of erthe.
20 কিন্তু যদি তোমরা প্রতিরোধ ও বিদ্রোহ করো, তরোয়াল তোমাদের গ্রাস করবে,” কারণ সদাপ্রভুর মুখ একথা বলেছে।
That if ye nylen, and ye terren me to wrathfulnesse, swerd schal deuoure you; for whi the mouth of the Lord spak.
21 দেখো, একদা বিশ্বস্ত জেরুশালেম নগরী, কেমন বেশ্যার মতো হয়েছে! এক সময়, সে ন্যায়বিচারে পূর্ণ ছিল; তার মধ্যে অবস্থান করত ধার্মিকতা, কিন্তু এখন যত খুনির দল আছে!
Hou is the feithful citee ful of dom maad an hoore? riytfulnesse dwellide ther ynne; but now menquelleris dwellen ther ynne.
22 তোমাদের রুপোয় এখন খাদ ধরেছে, তোমাদের পছন্দসই দ্রাক্ষারসে জল মেশানো হয়েছে।
Thi siluer is turned in to dros, ether filthe; thi wyn is medlid with watir.
23 তোমাদের শাসকেরা বিদ্রোহী হয়েছে, তারা হয়েছে চোরদের সঙ্গী; তারা সবাই ঘুস খেতে ভালোবাসে এবং পারিতোষিকের পিছনে দৌড়ায়। তারা পিতৃহীনের পক্ষসমর্থন করে না; বিধবার মোকদ্দমা তাদের সামনে আসে না।
Thi princes ben vnfeithful, the felowis of theuys; alle louen yiftis, suen meedis; thei demen not to a fadirles child, and the cause of a widewe entrith not to hem.
24 তাই প্রভু, সর্বশক্তিমান সদাপ্রভু, যিনি ইস্রায়েলের পরাক্রমী জন, তিনি ঘোষণা করেন: “আহা! আমি আমার বিপক্ষদের হাত থেকে নিস্তার পাব, আমার শত্রুদের কাছে প্রতিশোধ নেব।
For this thing, seith the Lord God of oostis, the stronge of Israel, Alas! Y schal be coumfortid on myn enemyes, and Y schal be vengid on myn enemyes.
25 আমি তোমার বিরুদ্ধে আমার মুষ্টিবদ্ধ হাত তুলব; আমি তোমার খাদ আগাগোড়া পরিষ্কার করব এবং তোমার সব অশুদ্ধতা দূর করব।
And Y schal turne myn hond to thee, and Y schal sethe out thi filthe to the cleene, and Y schal do awei al thi tyn.
26 আমি পুরোনো দিনের মতো তোমার বিচারকদের পুনঃস্থাপিত করব, যেমন প্রথমে ছিল, তেমনই নিয়ে আসব পরামর্শদাতাদের। পরে তোমাকে বলা হবে ধার্মিকতার পুরী, এক বিশ্বাসভাজন নগরী।”
And Y schal restore thi iuges, as thei weren bifor to, and thi counselours, as in elde tyme. Aftir these thingis thou schalt be clepid the citee of the riytful, a feithful citee.
27 সিয়োনকে ন্যায়বিচারের দ্বারা ও তার অনুতপ্ত জনেদের ধার্মিকতার দ্বারা উদ্ধার করা হবে।
Sion schal be ayen bouyt in dom, and thei schulen bringe it ayen in to riytfulnesse;
28 কিন্তু বিদ্রোহী ও পাপীরা, উভয়েই ভগ্ন হবে, যারা সদাপ্রভুকে পরিত্যাগ করে, তারা বিনষ্ট হবে।
and God schal al to-breke cursid men and synneris togidere, and thei that forsoken the Lord, schulen be wastid.
29 “তোমরা তোমাদের পবিত্র ওক গাছগুলির জন্য লজ্জিত হবে, যেগুলির জন্য তোমরা আনন্দিত হতে; তোমাদের মনোনীত পূজার উদ্যানগুলির জন্য তোমরা অপমানিত হবে।
For thei schulen be aschamed of idols, to whiche thei maden sacrifice; and ye shulen be aschamid on the orcherdis, whiche ye chesiden.
30 তোমরা সেই ওক গাছের মতো হবে, যার পাতা শুকিয়ে যাচ্ছে, তোমরা জলহীন কোনো উদ্যানের মতো হবে।
Whanne ye schulen be as an ook, whanne the leeues fallen doun, and as an orcherd with out watir.
31 শক্তিশালী মানুষ যেন খড়কুটোর মতো হবে, তার কাজ অগ্নিস্ফুলিঙ্গের মতো হবে; সেগুলি উভয়েই একত্র দগ্ধ হবে, সেই আগুন নিভানোর জন্য কেউই থাকবে না।”
And youre strengthe schal be as a deed sparcle of bonys, `ether of herdis of flex, and youre werk schal be as a quyk sparcle; and euer either schal be brent togidere, and noon schal be that schal quenche.
