ইব্রীয় 1
1 অতীতে ঈশ্বর ভাববাদীদের মাধ্যমে আমাদের পূর্বপুরুষদের সঙ্গে বহুবার বিভিন্নভাবে কথা বলেছেন,
God, who in ancient times, spoke often, and in various ways, to the fathers, by the prophets,
2 কিন্তু এই শেষ যুগে, তিনি তাঁর পুত্রের মাধ্যমেই আমাদের কাছে কথা বলেছেন, যাঁকে তিনি সবকিছুর উত্তরাধিকারী করেছেন, এবং যাঁর মাধ্যমে তিনি সমগ্র বিশ্ব সৃষ্টি করেছেন। (aiōn g165)
has, in these last days, spoken to us by a Son, whom he has constituted Lord of all things, by whom, also, he made the universe: (aiōn g165)
3 সেই পুত্রই ঈশ্বরের মহিমার বিচ্ছুরণ এবং তাঁর সত্তার যথার্থ প্রতিরূপ, যিনি তাঁর তেজোদৃপ্ত বাক্যের দ্বারা সবকিছুই ধারণ করে আছেন। সব পাপ ক্ষমা করার কাজ সম্পন্ন করার পর, তিনি স্বর্গে ঐশ-মহিমার ডানদিকে উপবেশন করেছেন।
who, being in effulgence of his glory, and an exact representation of his character, and controlling all things by his own powerful word, after he had, by himself, made expiation for our sins, sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high;
4 তিনি উত্তরাধিকার বলে স্বর্গদূতদের তুলনায় যে উচ্চতর পদের অধিকারী হয়েছেন, সেই অনুযায়ী তাদের থেকেও মহান হয়ে উঠেছেন।
being exalted as far above the angels, as the name he has inherited, is more excellent than theirs.
5 কারণ স্বর্গদূতদের মধ্যে কাকে ঈশ্বর কখন বলেছেন, “তুমি আমার পুত্র, আজ আমি তোমার পিতা হয়েছি?” অথবা আবার, “আমি তার পিতা হব, আর সে হবে আমার পুত্র?”
For, to which of the angels did he at any time say, "Thou art my Son: to-day I have begotten thee"? and again, "I will be his Father, and he shall be my Son"?
6 আবারও, ঈশ্বর যখন তাঁর প্রথমজাতকে এই পৃথিবীতে নিয়ে আসেন, তিনি বললেন, “ঈশ্বরের সব দূত তাঁর উপাসনা করুক।”
But when he brings again the First-born into the world, he says, "Let all the angels of God worship him."
7 আর স্বর্গদূতদের সম্পর্কে তিনি বলেন, “তিনি তাঁর দূতদের করেন বায়ুসদৃশ, তাঁর সেবকদের করেন আগুনের শিখার মতো।”
Whereas, concerning angels, he says, "Who makes winds his angels, and flaming fire his ministers."
8 কিন্তু পুত্র সম্পর্কে তিনি বলেন, “হে ঈশ্বর, তোমার সিংহাসন অনন্তকালস্থায়ী; ধার্মিকতার রাজদণ্ড হবে তোমার রাজ্যের রাজদণ্ড। (aiōn g165)
But to the Son, "Thy throne, O God, endures for ever. The scepter of thy kingdom is a scepter of rectitude. (aiōn g165)
9 তুমি ধার্মিকতাকে ভালোবেসেছ, আর দুষ্টতাকে ঘৃণা করেছ; সেই কারণে ঈশ্বর, তোমার ঈশ্বর, আনন্দের তেল দিয়ে অভিষিক্ত করে, তোমাকে তোমার সহচরদের ঊর্ধ্বে স্থাপন করেছেন।”
Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore, God, thy God, has anointed thee with the oil of gladness, above thy associates."
10 তিনি আরও বলেন, “হে প্রভু, আদিকালে তুমি এই পৃথিবীর ভিত্তিমূল স্থাপন করেছ, আর আকাশমণ্ডলও তোমারই হাতের রচনা।
And, "Thou, Lord, in the beginning didst lay the foundations of the earth, and the heavens are the works of thy hands.
11 সেসব বিলুপ্ত হবে, কিন্তু তুমি স্থায়ী হবে; সেগুলি ছেঁড়া কাপড়ের মতো হবে।
They shall perish, but thou dost remain; and they, as a garment, shall grow old;
12 পরিচ্ছদের মতো তুমি সেসব গুটিয়ে রাখবে, পরনের পোশাকের মতো সেগুলি পরিবর্তিত হবে। কিন্তু তুমি থাকবে সেই একইরকম, তোমার আয়ুর কখনও শেষ হবে না।”
and, as a vesture, thou wilt fold them up, and they shall be changed: but thou art the same; and they shall be changed; but thou art the same; and thy years shall never fail."
13 স্বর্গদূতদের মধ্যে কাকে ঈশ্বর কখন বলেছেন, “তুমি আমার ডানদিকে বসো, যতক্ষণ না আমি তোমার শত্রুদের তোমার পাদপীঠে পরিণত করি?”
Moreover, to which of the angels did he say, at any time, "Sit thou at my right hand, till I make thy enemies thy footstool."
14 স্বর্গদূতেরা সবাই কি পরিচর্যাকারী আত্মা নন? যারা পরিত্রাণের অধিকারী হবে, তাদের সেবা করার জন্যই কি তারা প্রেরিত হননি?
"Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall inherit salvation?"
