1 প্রথম সন্ধিচুক্তিতে উপাসনা-সংক্রান্ত রীতিনীতি ছিল এবং ছিল এক পার্থিব পবিত্রধাম।
Now the first covenant had regulations for worship and also an earthly sanctuary.
2 কারণ, একটি সমাগম তাঁবু স্থাপিত হয়েছিল, যার প্রথম কক্ষে ছিল সেই দীপাধার, উৎসর্গীকৃত দর্শন রুটিসহ একটি টেবিল; একে বলা হত, পবিত্রস্থান।
A tabernacle was prepared. In its first room were the lampstand, the table, and the consecrated bread. This was called the Holy Place.
3 দ্বিতীয় পর্দার পিছনে মহাপবিত্র স্থান বলে আর একটি কক্ষ ছিল।
Behind the second curtain was a room called the Most Holy Place,
4 সেখানে ছিল সোনার ধূপবেদি ও সোনায় মোড়া নিয়ম-সিন্দুক। এই সিন্দুকে ছিল মান্নায় ভরা সোনার ঘট, হারোণের মুকুলিত লাঠি এবং নিয়মসমন্বিত পাথরের ফলকগুলি।
containing the golden altar of incense and the gold-covered ark of the covenant. Inside the ark were the gold jar of manna, Aaron’s staff that had budded, and the stone tablets of the covenant.
5 সিন্দুকের উপরে ছিল মহিমার সেই দুই করূব, যারা সিন্দুকের আচ্ছাদনের উপরে ছায়া বিস্তার করত। কিন্তু এখন আমরা এ সমস্ত বিষয় বিশদভাবে আলোচনা করতে পারি না।
Above the ark were the cherubim of glory, overshadowing the mercy seat. But we cannot discuss these things in detail now.
6 এইভাবে পবিত্র তাঁবুতে সবকিছুর ব্যবস্থা করার পর, যাজকেরা তাদের পরিচর্যা সম্পন্ন করার জন্য নিয়মিতরূপে বাইরের কক্ষে প্রবেশ করতেন।
When everything had been prepared in this way, the priests entered regularly into the first room to perform their sacred duties.
7 কিন্তু কেবলমাত্র মহাযাজকই বছরে শুধুমাত্র একবার ভিতরের কক্ষে প্রবেশ করতেন এবং কখনও রক্ত ছাড়া প্রবেশ করতেন না। সেই রক্ত তিনি নিজের ও লোকেদের অজ্ঞতায় করা পাপের প্রায়শ্চিত্তের জন্য উৎসর্গ করতেন।
But only the high priest entered the second room, and then only once a year, and never without blood, which he offered for himself and for the sins the people had committed in ignorance.
8 এর দ্বারা পবিত্র আত্মা দেখিয়েছেন যে, প্রথম সমাগম তাঁবুটি যতদিন বজায় ছিল, ততদিন মহাপবিত্র স্থানের প্রবেশপথ উন্মুক্ত হয়নি।
By this arrangement the Holy Spirit was showing that the way into the Most Holy Place had not yet been disclosed as long as the first tabernacle was still standing.
9 বর্তমানকালের জন্য এ এক দৃষ্টান্তস্বরূপ; এর তাৎপর্য হল, উৎসর্গীকৃত বলি-উপহার ও নৈবেদ্য কখনও উপাসনাকারীর বিবেক শুচিশুদ্ধ করতে সমর্থ হয়নি।
It is an illustration for the present time, because the gifts and sacrifices being offered were unable to cleanse the conscience of the worshiper.
10 সেগুলি শুধুমাত্র খাবার, পানীয় ও বিভিন্ন আনুষ্ঠানিক শুচিকরণ সম্পর্কিত বাহ্যিক নিয়ন্ত্রণ-বিধিস্বরূপ, যা নতুন বিধি প্রবর্তণের সময় না আসা পর্যন্ত প্রযোজ্য ছিল।
They consist only in food and drink and special washings—external regulations imposed until the time of reform.
11 এখন, খ্রীষ্ট যখন আগত উৎকৃষ্ট বিষয়গুলির জন্য মহাযাজকরূপে এলেন, তিনি আরও বেশি মহৎ ও নিখুঁত সমাগম তাঁবুর মধ্য দিয়ে প্রবেশ করলেন, যা মানবসৃষ্ট নয়; এমনকি, যা এই সৃষ্টিরই অঙ্গ নয়।
But when Christ came as high priest of the good things that have come, He went through the greater and more perfect tabernacle that is not made by hands and is not a part of this creation.
12 তিনি ছাগল ও বাছুরের রক্ত নিয়ে প্রবেশ করেননি; সেই মহাপবিত্র স্থানে তিনি নিজের রক্ত নিয়ে চিরকালের মতো একবারই প্রবেশ করেছেন এবং আমাদের জন্য অনন্তকালীন মুক্তি অর্জন করেছেন। (aiōnios g166)
He did not enter by the blood of goats and calves, but He entered the Most Holy Place once for all by His own blood, thus securing eternal redemption. (aiōnios g166)
13 যারা সংস্কারগতভাবে অশুচি, বাহ্যিকভাবে শুচিশুদ্ধ করার জন্য তাদের উপরে ছাগল ও ষাঁড়ের রক্ত এবং দগ্ধ বকনা-বাছুরের ভস্ম ছিটিয়ে দেওয়া হত।
For if the blood of goats and bulls and the ashes of a heifer sprinkled on those who are ceremonially unclean sanctify them so that their bodies are clean,
14 তাহলে আমরা যেন জীবন্ত ঈশ্বরের সেবা করতে পারি, এই উদ্দেশ্যে যিনি চিরন্তন আত্মার মাধ্যমে নিষ্কলঙ্ক বলিরূপে নিজেকেই ঈশ্বরের কাছে উৎসর্গ করেছেন, সেই খ্রীষ্টের রক্ত আমাদের বিবেককে মৃত্যুমুখী ক্রিয়াকলাপ থেকে আরও কত না নিশ্চিতরূপে শুচিশুদ্ধ করবে! (aiōnios g166)
how much more will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself unblemished to God, purify our consciences from works of death, so that we may serve the living God! (aiōnios g166)
15 এই কারণে খ্রীষ্ট এক নতুন নিয়মের মধ্যস্থতাকারী, যেন আহূতজনেরা চিরন্তন উত্তরাধিকার লাভ করতে পারে। এখন তা সম্ভব, কারণ প্রথম নিয়মের সময়ে তারা যেসব পাপ করেছিল, তা থেকে তাদের উদ্ধার করতে তিনি মুক্তিপণরূপে মৃত্যুবরণ করেছেন। (aiōnios g166)
Therefore Christ is the mediator of a new covenant, so that those who are called may receive the promised eternal inheritance, now that He has died to redeem them from the transgressions committed under the first covenant. (aiōnios g166)
16 কোনও ইচ্ছাপত্র কার্যকর হওয়ার ক্ষেত্রে, যিনি ইচ্ছাপত্র সম্পাদন করেছেন, তাঁর মৃত্যু প্রমাণিত হওয়া আবশ্যক।
In the case of a will, it is necessary to establish the death of the one who made it,
17 কারণ যখন কোনো ব্যক্তির মৃত্যু হয়, কেবলমাত্র তখনই ইচ্ছাপত্র বলবৎ হয়। জীবিত ব্যক্তির ইচ্ছাপত্র কখনও কার্যকর হয় না।
because a will does not take effect until the one who made it has died; it cannot be executed while he is still alive.
18 এই কারণেই রক্ত ছাড়া প্রথম নিয়ম কার্যকর হয়নি।
That is why even the first covenant was not put into effect without blood.
19 মোশি যখন সব লোকের কাছে বিধানপুস্তকের প্রত্যেকটি আজ্ঞা ঘোষণা করেন, তিনি বাছুরের ও ছাগদের রক্তের সঙ্গে নিলেন জল, রক্তবর্ণ মেষলোম ও এসোব গাছের শাখা এবং তিনি তা ছিটিয়ে দিলেন সেই পুঁথি ও প্রজাদের উপর।
For when Moses had proclaimed every commandment of the law to all the people, he took the blood of calves and goats, along with water, scarlet wool, and hyssop, and sprinkled the scroll and all the people,
20 তিনি বললেন, “এ হল সেই নতুন নিয়মের রক্ত, যা পালন করার জন্য ঈশ্বর তোমাদের আদেশ দিয়েছেন।”
saying, “This is the blood of the covenant, which God has commanded you to keep.”
21 একইভাবে তিনি সেই সমাগম তাঁবু ও তার বিভিন্ন আচার-অনুষ্ঠানে ব্যবহৃত দ্রব্যসামগ্রীর উপরে রক্ত ছিটিয়ে দিলেন।
In the same way, he sprinkled with blood the tabernacle and all the vessels used in worship.
22 বিধান অনুসারে, প্রকৃতপক্ষে সব কিছুকেই রক্ত দ্বারা পরিশোধিত হতে হয় এবং রক্তসেচন ছাড়া পাপের ক্ষমা হয় না।
According to the law, in fact, nearly everything must be purified with blood, and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness.
23 অতএব, যেগুলি স্বর্গীয় বিষয়ের প্রতিরূপ, সেগুলি এসব বলির দ্বারা শুচিকৃত হওয়ার প্রয়োজন ছিল, কিন্তু স্বর্গীয় বিষয়গুলির জন্য মহত্তর বলিদানের আবশ্যকতা ছিল।
So it was necessary for the copies of the heavenly things to be purified with these sacrifices, but the heavenly things themselves with better sacrifices than these.
24 কারণ খ্রীষ্ট প্রকৃত উপাসনাস্থলের প্রতিরূপ মানব-নির্মিত পবিত্রস্থানে প্রবেশ করেননি; তিনি সাক্ষাৎ স্বর্গে প্রবেশ করেছেন, যেন আমাদের পক্ষে ঈশ্বরের সান্নিধ্যে উপস্থিত হন।
For Christ did not enter a man-made copy of the true sanctuary, but He entered heaven itself, now to appear on our behalf in the presence of God.
25 আবার মহাযাজক যেভাবে নিজের নয়, কিন্তু অন্যের রক্ত নিয়ে প্রতি বছর মহাপবিত্র স্থানে প্রবেশ করতেন, খ্রীষ্ট কিন্তু সেভাবে নিজেকে উৎসর্গ করার জন্য বারবার স্বর্গে প্রবেশ করেননি।
Nor did He enter heaven to offer Himself again and again, as the high priest enters the Most Holy Place every year with blood that is not his own.
26 তাহলে জগৎ সৃষ্টির কাল থেকে খ্রীষ্টকে বহুবারই কষ্টভোগ ও মৃত্যুবরণ করতে হত। কিন্তু এখন, যুগের শেষ সময়ে, আত্মবলিদানের দ্বারা তিনি চিরকালের মতো পাপের বিলোপ সাধনের উদ্দেশ্যে একবারই প্রকাশিত হয়েছেন। (aiōn g165)
Otherwise, Christ would have had to suffer repeatedly since the foundation of the world. But now He has appeared once for all at the end of the ages to do away with sin by the sacrifice of Himself. (aiōn g165)
27 মানুষের জন্য যেমন একবার মৃত্যু ও তারপর বিচার নির্ধারিত হয়ে আছে,
Just as man is appointed to die once, and after that to face judgment,
28 তেমনই বহু মানুষের সব পাপ হরণ করার জন্য খ্রীষ্ট একবারই উৎসর্গীকৃত হয়েছেন এবং আর পাপবহনের জন্য নয়, কিন্তু যারা তাঁর প্রতীক্ষায় আছে, তাদের পরিত্রাণ সাধনের উদ্দেশ্যে তিনি দ্বিতীয়বার প্রকাশিত হবেন।
so also Christ was offered once to bear the sins of many; and He will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who eagerly await Him.
