আদিপুস্তক 6
1 পৃথিবীতে মানুষের সংখ্যা যখন বাড়তে শুরু করল ও তাদের ঔরসে কন্যাসন্তানেরা জন্মাল,
And it was that began humankind to become numerous on [the] surface of the ground and daughters they were born to them.
2 তখন ঈশ্বরের ছেলেরা দেখল যে মানুষের মেয়েরা বেশ সুন্দরী, এবং তাদের মধ্যে থেকে তারা নিজেদের পছন্দমতো মেয়েকে বিয়ে করল।
And they saw [the] sons of God [the] daughters of humankind that [were] good they and they took for themselves wives from all whom they chose.
3 তখন সদাপ্রভু বললেন, “আমার আত্মা অনন্তকাল ধরে মানুষের সাথে বিবাদ করবেন না, কারণ তারা নশ্বর; তাদের আয়ু হবে 120 বছর।”
And he said Yahweh not will remain spirit my in humankind for ever in that also he [is] flesh and they will be days his one hundred and twenty year[s].
4 সে যুগে পৃথিবীতে নেফিলীমরা বসবাস করত—এবং পরবর্তীকালেও করত—যখন ঈশ্বরের ছেলেরা মানুষের মেয়েদের সঙ্গে সহবাস করল এবং তাদের মাধ্যমে সন্তানসন্ততি লাভ করল। তারাই প্রাচীনকালের বীরপুরুষ, বিখ্যাত মানুষ হল।
The Nephilim they were on the earth in the days those and also after thus when they went [the] sons of God into [the] daughters of humankind and they bore children to them they [were] the mighty [men] who [were] from long ago [the] men of name.
5 সদাপ্রভু দেখলেন পৃথিবীতে মানুষের দুষ্টতা কত বেড়ে গিয়েছে, এবং তাদের অন্তরের চিন্তাভাবনার প্রত্যেকটি প্রবণতা সবসময় শুধু মন্দই থেকে গেল।
And he saw Yahweh that [was] great [the] evil of humankind on the earth and every inclination of [the] thoughts of heart his only [was] evil every day.
6 পৃথিবীতে মানবজাতিকে তৈরি করেছেন বলে সদাপ্রভু মর্মাহত হলেন, এবং তাঁর অন্তর গভীর মর্মবেদনায় ভরে উঠল।
And he regretted Yahweh that he had made humankind on the earth and he was pained to heart his.
7 তাই সদাপ্রভু বললেন, “যে মানবজাতিকে আমি সৃষ্টি করেছি, তাদের—এবং তাদের সাথে সাথে পশুদের, পাখিদের ও সরীসৃপ প্রাণীদেরও—আমি এই পৃথিবীর বুক থেকে নিশ্চিহ্ন করে ফেলব, কারণ তাদের তৈরি করেছি বলে আমার অনুতাপ হচ্ছে।”
And he said Yahweh I will wipe humankind which I created from on [the] surface of the ground from humankind unto animal[s] unto creeping thing[s] and unto [the] bird[s] of the heavens for I regret that I have made them.
8 কিন্তু নোহ সদাপ্রভুর দৃষ্টিতে অনুগ্রহ লাভ করলেন।
And Noah he found favor in [the] eyes of Yahweh.
9 এই হল নোহ ও তাঁর পরিবারের বিবরণ। নোহ তাঁর সমকালীন লোকদের মধ্যে এক ধার্মিক, অনিন্দনীয় লোক ছিলেন, আর তিনি বিশ্বস্ততাপূর্বক ঈশ্বরের সাথে চলাফেরা করতেন।
These [are] [the] accounts of Noah Noah [was] a man righteous blameless he was in generations his with God he walked about Noah.
10 নোহের তিন ছেলে ছিল: শেম, হাম ও যেফৎ।
And he fathered Noah three sons Shem Ham and Japheth.
11 এমতাবস্থায় পৃথিবী ঈশ্বরের দৃষ্টিতে নীতিভ্রষ্ট ছিল এবং হিংস্রতাতেও পরিপূর্ণ হয়েছিল।
And was corrupt the earth before God and was filled the earth violence.
12 ঈশ্বর দেখলেন পৃথিবী কত নীতিভ্রষ্ট হয়ে গিয়েছে, কারণ পৃথিবীর সব মানুষজন তাদের জীবনযাপন নীতিভ্রষ্ট করে তুলেছিল।
And he saw God the earth and there! it was corrupt for had corrupted all flesh way its on the earth.
13 অতএব ঈশ্বর নোহকে বললেন, “আমি সব মানুষের জীবন শেষ করে দিতে চলেছি, কারণ এদের জন্যই পৃথিবী হিংস্রতায় পরিপূর্ণ হয়ে উঠেছে। আমি নির্ঘাৎ তাদের ও পৃথিবীকে একসাথে ধ্বংস করে দিতে চলেছি।
And he said God to Noah [the] end of all flesh [is] coming before me for is full the earth violence because of them and here [am] I about to destroy them with the earth.
14 তাই তুমি নিজেই দেবদারু কাঠ দিয়ে একটি জাহাজ তৈরি করো; তার মধ্যে কয়েকটি ঘর তৈরি কোরো এবং তার ভিতরের ও বাইরের দিকে আলকাতরা মাখিয়ে দিয়ো।
Make for yourself an ark of wood of gopher nests you will make the ark and you will cover it from inside and from outside with pitch.
15 এভাবেই তোমাকে এটি তৈরি করতে হবে: জাহাজটি 135 মিটার লম্বা, 23 মিটার চওড়া ও 14 মিটার উঁচু হবে।
And this [is] how you will make it [will be] three hundred cubit[s] [the] length of the ark [will be] fifty cubit[s] breadth its and [will be] thirty cubit[s] height its.
16 এর একটি ছাদ তৈরি কোরো এবং ছাদের নিচে চারদিকে 45 সেন্টিমিটার উঁচু একটি জানালা তৈরি কোরো। জাহাজটির একদিকে একটি দরজা তৈরি কোরো এবং জাহাজে নিম্ন, মধ্যম ও উপর তলা তৈরি কোরো।
A roof - you will make for the ark and to a cubit you will finish it from to above and [the] entrance of the ark in side its you will put lower [decks] second [decks] and third [decks] you will make it.
17 পৃথিবীতে বন্যার জল পাঠিয়ে আমি আকাশমণ্ডলের নিচে থাকা সব প্রাণকে, প্রাণবায়ুবিশিষ্ট প্রত্যেকটি প্রাণীকে ধ্বংস করে দিতে চলেছি। পৃথিবীর সবকিছু ধ্বংস হবে।
And I here I [am] about to bring the flood water on the earth to destroy all flesh which [is] in it [the] breath of life from under the heavens all that [is] on the earth will die.
18 কিন্তু তোমার সাথে আমি আমার নিয়ম প্রতিষ্ঠিত করব, এবং তুমি সেই জাহাজে প্রবেশ করবে—তুমি ও তোমার সাথে তোমার ছেলেরা, ও তোমার স্ত্রী এবং তোমার পুত্রবধূরাও।
And I will establish covenant my with you and you will go into the ark you and sons your and wife your and [the] wives of sons your with you.
19 সব জীবিত প্রাণীর মধ্যে থেকে এক এক জোড়া করে মদ্দা ও মাদি প্রাণীকে তোমার সাথে বাঁচিয়ে রাখার জন্য তোমাকে জাহাজে এনে রাখতে হবে।
And of every living [thing] of all flesh two of everything you will bring into the ark to preserve alive with you male and female they will be.
20 জীবিত থাকার জন্য সব ধরনের পাখি, সব ধরনের পশু এবং সব ধরনের সরীসৃপ প্রাণী দুটি দুটি করে তোমার কাছে আসবে।
Of the bird[s] to kind its and of the animal[s] to kind its from every creeping thing of the ground to kind its two of everything they will come to you to preserve alive.
21 তোমাদের ও তাদের সকলের খাদ্যরূপে তোমাকে সব ধরনের খাদ্যদ্রব্য মজুত করতে হবে।”
And you take for yourself some of all food which is eaten and you will gather [it] to yourself and it will become for you and for them food.
22 ঈশ্বর যেমন আদেশ দিয়েছিলেন, নোহ সবকিছু ঠিক সেভাবেই করলেন।
And he did Noah according to all that he commanded him God so he did.
