1 এই হল আদমের বংশাবলির লিখিত নথি। ঈশ্বর যখন মানবজাতিকে সৃষ্টি করলেন, তখন তিনি তাদের ঈশ্বরের প্রতিমূর্তিতেই তৈরি করলেন।
Thys is the boke of the generacion of man In the daye when God created man and made hym after the symilytude of god
2 তিনি তাদের পুরুষ ও স্ত্রী করে সৃষ্টি করলেন এবং তাদের আশীর্বাদও করলেন। আর তারা যখন সৃষ্ট হলেন তখন তিনি তাদের “মানবজাতি” নাম দিলেন।
Male and female made he the and called their names man in the daye when they were created.
3 130 বছর বয়সে আদম তাঁর নিজের সাদৃশ্যে, তাঁর নিজের প্রতিমূর্তিতে এক ছেলে লাভ করলেন; আর তিনি তাঁর নাম দিলেন শেথ।
And when Adam was an hundred and thyrty yere old he begat a sonne after hys lycknesse and symilytude: and called hys name Seth.
4 শেথের জন্ম হওয়ার পর, আদম 800 বছর বেঁচেছিলেন এবং তাঁর আরও ছেলেমেয়ে হল।
And the dayes of Adam after he begat Seth were eyght hundred yere and begat sonnes and doughters.
5 সব মিলিয়ে, আদম মোট 930 বছর বেঁচেছিলেন, আর পরে তিনি মারা যান।
and all the dayes of Adam which he lyved were. ix. hundred and. xxx. yere and then he dyed.
6 105 বছর বয়সে শেথ ইনোশের বাবা হলেন।
And Seth lyved an hundred and. v. yeres and begat Enos.
7 ইনোশের বাবা হওয়ার পর শেথ 807 বছর বেঁচেছিলেন এবং তাঁর আরও ছেলেমেয়ে হল।
And after he had begot Enos he lyved. viij. hundred and. vij. yere and begat sonnes and doughters.
8 সব মিলিয়ে, শেথ মোট 912 বছর বেঁচেছিলেন, আর পরে তিনি মারা যান।
And all the dayes of Seth were. ix. hundred and. xij. yere and dyed.
9 90 বছর বয়সে ইনোশ কৈননের বাবা হলেন।
And Enos lyved. lxxxx. yere and begat kenan.
10 কৈননের বাবা হওয়ার পর ইনোশ 815 বছর বেঁচেছিলেন এবং তাঁর আরও ছেলেমেয়ে হল।
And Enos after he begat kenan lyved viij. hundred and. xv. yere and begat sonnes and doughters:
11 সব মিলিয়ে, ইনোশ মোট 905 বছর বেঁচেছিলেন, পরে তিনি মারা যান।
and all the dayes of Enos were. ix hundred and. v. yere and than he dyed.
12 70 বছর বয়সে, কৈনন মহললেলের বাবা হলেন।
And kenan lyued. lxx. yere and begat Mahalaliel.
13 মহললেলের বাবা হওয়ার পর কৈনন 840 বছর বেঁচেছিলেন এবং তাঁর আরও ছেলেমেয়ে হল।
And kenan after he had begot Mahalaliel lyved. viij. hundred and. xl. yere and begat sonnes and doughters:
14 সব মিলিয়ে, কৈনন মোট 910 বছর বেঁচেছিলেন, পরে তিনি মারা যান।
and al the dayes of kenan were. ix. hundred and. x. yere and than he dyed.
15 65 বছর বয়সে, মহললেল যেরদের বাবা হলেন।
And Mahalaliel lyued. lxv. yere and begat Iared.
16 যেরদের বাবা হওয়ার পর মহললেল 830 বছর বেঁচেছিলেন এবং তাঁর আরও ছেলেমেয়ে হল।
And Mahalaliel after he had begot Iared lyved. viij. hundred and. xxx. yere and begat sonnes and doughters:
17 সব মিলিয়ে, মহললেল মোট 895 বছর বেঁচেছিলেন, পরে তিনি মারা যান।
and all the dayes of Mahalalyell were. viij. hundred nynetye and. v. yeare and than he dyed
18 162 বছর বয়সে, যেরদ হনোকের বাবা হলেন।
And Iared lyved an hundred and. lxij. yere and begat Henoch:
19 হনোকের বাবা হওয়ার পর যেরদ 800 বছর বেঁচেছিলেন এবং তাঁর আরও ছেলেমেয়ে হল।
and Iared lyved after he begat Henoch. viij. hundred yere and begat sonnes and doughters.
20 সব মিলিয়ে, যেরদ মোট 962 বছর বেঁচেছিলেন, পরে তিনি মারা যান।
And all the dayes of Iared were. ix. hundred and. lxij. yere and than he dyed.
21 65 বছর বয়সে হনোক, মথূশেলহের বাবা হলেন।
And Henoch lyved. lxv. yere ad begat Mathusala.
22 মথূশেলহের বাবা হওয়ার পর হনোক 300 বছর ধরে বিশ্বস্ততাপূর্বক ঈশ্বরের সাথে চলাফেরা করলেন, এবং তাঁর আরও ছেলেমেয়ে হল।
And Henoch walked wyth god after he had begot Mathusala. iij. hundred yere and begat sonnes and doughters.
23 সব মিলিয়ে, হনোক মোট 365 বছর বেঁচেছিলেন।
And all the dayes of Henoch were. iij. hundred and. lxv. yere.
24 হনোক বিশ্বস্ততাপূর্বক ঈশ্বরের সাথে চলাফেরা করলেন; পরে তিনি অদৃশ্য হয়ে গেলেন, কারণ ঈশ্বর তাঁকে তুলে নিলেন।
and than Henoch lyved a godly lyfe and was nomore sene for God toke hym away.
25 187 বছর বয়সে মথূশেলহ, লেমকের বাবা হলেন।
And Mathusala lyved an hundred and lxxxvij. yere and begat Lamech:
26 লেমকের বাবা হওয়ার পর মথূশেলহ 782 বছর বেঁচেছিলেন এবং তাঁর আরও ছেলেমেয়ে হল।
and Mathusala after he had begot Lamech lyved. vij. hundred and. lxxxij. yere ad begat sonnes and doughters.
27 সব মিলিয়ে, মথূশেলহ মোট 969 বছর বেঁচেছিলেন, পরে তিনি মারা যান।
And all the dayes of Methusala were. ix. hundred. lxix yere and than he dyed.
28 182 বছর বয়সে লেমকের এক ছেলে হল।
And Lamech lyved an hundred. lxxxij. yere and begat a sonne
29 তিনি তার নাম দিলেন নোহ এবং বললেন, “সদাপ্রভুর দ্বারা জমি অভিশপ্ত হওয়ার কারণে হাতে কাজ করতে গিয়ে আমাদের যে ব্যথা ও কষ্টকর পরিশ্রম ভোগ করতে হচ্ছে, তা থেকে এই ছেলেটি আমাদের স্বস্তি দেবে।”
and called hym Noe sayng. This same shall comforte vs: as concernynge oure worke and sorowe of oure handes which we haue aboute the erthe that the LORde hath cursed.
30 নোহের জন্ম হওয়ার পর, লেমক 595 বছর বেঁচেছিলেন এবং তাঁর আরও ছেলেমেয়ে হল।
And Lamech lyved after he had begot Noe v. hundred nynetie and. v. yere and begat sonnes and doughters.
31 সব মিলিয়ে, লেমক মোট 777 বছর বেঁচেছিলেন, পরে তিনি মারা যান।
And all the dayes of Lamech were. vij. hundred. lxxvij. yere and than he dyed.
32 500 বছর বয়সে নোহ, শেম, হাম ও যেফতের বাবা হলেন।
And when Noe was. v. hundred yere olde he begat Sem Ham and Iaphet.
