২য় থিষলনীকীয় 1

1 আমাদের পিতা ঈশ্বর এবং প্রভু যীশু খ্রীষ্টে অবস্থিত থিষলনীকীয়দের মণ্ডলীর প্রতি, পৌল, সীল ও তিমথি এই পত্র লিখছি।

Paul, and Silvanus, and Timotheus, to the assembly of Thessalonians in God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ:

2 পিতা ঈশ্বর এবং প্রভু যীশু খ্রীষ্ট থেকে তোমাদের প্রতি অনুগ্রহ ও শান্তি বর্তুক।

Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ!

3 ভাইবোনেরা, তোমাদের জন্য সবসময় ঈশ্বরকে ধন্যবাদ দিতে আমরা বাধ্য এবং তাই সংগত। কারণ তোমাদের বিশ্বাস এবং পারস্পরিক ভালোবাসা দিনে দিনে বৃদ্ধি পাচ্ছে।

We always ought to give thanks to God for you, brothers, as it is fitting, because your faith increases greatly, and the love of each one of you all abounds to one another,

4 তাই সমস্ত নির্যাতন এবং দুঃখকষ্টের মধ্যেও তোমাদের সহনশীলতা ও বিশ্বাসের জন্য ঈশ্বরের মণ্ডলীগুলিতে আমরা গর্ব করি।

so that we ourselves glory in you in the assemblies of God, for your endurance and faith in all your persecutions and tribulations that you bear—

5 এসব কিছুই প্রমাণ করছে যে, ঈশ্বরের বিচার ন্যায়সংগত এবং এর ফলে, যে ঐশ-রাজ্যের জন্য তোমরা দুঃখভোগ করছ, তার যোগ্য বলে গণ্য হয়ে উঠবে।

a token of the righteous judgment of God, for your being counted worthy of the Kingdom of God, for which you also suffer,

6 ঈশ্বর ন্যায়পরায়ণ; যারা তোমাদের নির্যাতন করে, তিনি প্রতিদানে তাদের কষ্ট দেবেন

since [it is] a righteous thing with God to give back to those troubling you—tribulation,

7 এবং তোমরা যারা নিপীড়িত, তিনি সেই তোমাদের এবং আমাদের স্বস্তি দেবেন। প্রভু যীশু যখন তাঁর পরাক্রান্ত দূতবাহিনী নিয়ে জ্বলন্ত আগুনের শিখার মাঝে স্বর্গ থেকে প্রকাশিত হবেন, এ সমস্ত তখনই ঘটবে।

and to you who are troubled—rest with us in the revelation of the Lord Jesus from Heaven, with messengers of His power,

8 যারা ঈশ্বরকে জানে না এবং আমাদের প্রভু যীশুর সুসমাচার পালন করে না, তাদের তিনি শাস্তি দেবেন।

in flaming fire, giving vengeance to those not knowing God, and to those not obeying the good news of our Lord Jesus Christ,

9 তাদের দণ্ড হবে চিরকালীন বিনাশ এবং প্রভুর সান্নিধ্য ও তাঁর পরাক্রমের গৌরব থেকে তারা বিচ্ছিন্ন হবে। (aiōnios g166)

who will suffer justice—continuous destruction—from the face of the LORD, and from the glory of His strength, (aiōnios g166)

10 এই ঘটনা সেদিন ঘটবে, যেদিন তাঁর পুণ্যজনদের মাঝে তিনি মহিমান্বিত হওয়ার জন্য এবং যারা বিশ্বাস করেছে তাদের চমৎকৃত হওয়ার জন্য তিনি আসবেন। তোমরাও তাদের মধ্যে অন্তর্ভুক্ত, কারণ তোমাদের কাছে আমরা যে সাক্ষ্য দিয়েছি, তোমরা তা বিশ্বাস করেছ।

when He may come to be glorified in His holy ones, and to be wondered at by all those believing—because our testimony was believed among you—in that day;

11 একথা মনে রেখে, আমরা তোমাদের জন্য অবিরত প্রার্থনা করি, যেন আমাদের ঈশ্বর, তাঁর আহ্বানের যোগ্য বলে তোমাদের গড়ে তোলেন এবং তাঁর পরাক্রমে তোমাদের প্রত্যেক শুভ-সংকল্প এবং বিশ্বাস-প্রণোদিত প্রত্যেকটি কাজ সম্পূর্ণ করতে পারেন।

for which we also always pray for you, that our God may count you worthy of the calling, and may fulfill all the good pleasure of goodness, and the work of faith in power,

12 আমরা এই প্রার্থনা করি, যেন তোমাদের মধ্যে প্রভু যীশুর নাম গৌরবান্বিত হয় এবং আমাদের ঈশ্বর ও প্রভু যীশু খ্রীষ্টের অনুগ্রহে, তোমরা তাঁতে গৌরব লাভ করতে পারো।

that the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ may be glorified in you, and you in Him, according to the grace of our God and Lord Jesus Christ.
