1 এই কারণে, ঈশ্বরের করুণার মাধ্যমে আমাদের যেহেতু এই পরিচর্যা আছে, আমরা নিরুৎসাহ হই না।
Wherefore, having this ministry, as we have received mercy, we do not falter;
2 বরং, আমরা গোপনীয় ও লজ্জাজনক পথগুলি ত্যাগ করেছি; আমরা ধূর্ততার আশ্রয় নিই না, কিংবা ঈশ্বরের বাক্যকে বিকৃতও করি না। এর বিপরীতে, সহজসরলভাবে সত্যকে প্রকাশ করে আমরা ঈশ্বরের দৃষ্টিতে সব মানুষের বিবেকের কাছে নিজেদের যোগ্য করে তুলি।
but have commanded away the hidden things of shame, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but by the manifestation of the truth, commending ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God.
3 আবার, আমাদের সুসমাচার যদি আবৃত থাকে, তাহলে যারা ধ্বংস হচ্ছে, তা তাদের কাছেই আবৃত থাকে।
If then, indeed, our gospel be vailed, it is vailed among the destroyed;
4 এই যুগের দেবতা অবিশ্বাসীদের মন অন্ধ করেছে, যেন তারা খ্রীষ্টের মহিমার যে সুসমাচার তার আলো দেখতে না পায়। সেই খ্রীষ্টই হলেন ঈশ্বরের প্রতিমূর্তি। (aiōn g165)
among whom the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, might shine into them. (aiōn g165)
5 কারণ আমরা নিজেদের বিষয়ে প্রচার করি না, কিন্তু যীশু খ্রীষ্টকে প্রভুরূপে করি এবং যীশুর কারণে নিজেদের পরিচয় দিই তোমাদের দাসরূপে।
Now, we do not preach ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants, for Jesus' sake.
6 কারণ যে ঈশ্বর বলেছিলেন, “অন্ধকারের মধ্য থেকে জ্যোতি উদ্ভাসিত হোক,” তিনি তাঁর জ্যোতি আমাদের হৃদয়ে উদ্দীপিত করলেন, যেন খ্রীষ্টের মুখমণ্ডলে বিরাজিত ঈশ্বরের যে মহিমা, তার জ্ঞানের আলো আমাদের প্রদান করেন।
For God, who commanded light to shine out of darkness, has shined into our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.
7 কিন্তু এই সম্পদ আমরা মাটির পাত্রে ধারণ করছি, যেন এরকম প্রত্যক্ষ হয় যে সর্বগুণে উৎকৃষ্টতর এই পরাক্রম আমাদের থেকে নয়, কিন্তু ঈশ্বরের কাছ থেকে আসে।
But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power might be of God, and not of us.
8 আমরা চতুর্দিক থেকেই প্রবলরূপে নিষ্পেষিত হচ্ছি, কিন্তু চূর্ণ হচ্ছি না; হতবুদ্ধি হচ্ছি, কিন্তু নিরাশ হচ্ছি না;
We are pressed on every side, but not straitened; perplexed, but not in despair;
9 নির্যাতিত হচ্ছি, কিন্তু পরিত্যক্ত হচ্ছি না; আঘাতে ধরাশায়ী হচ্ছি, কিন্তু বিধ্বস্ত হচ্ছি না।
persecuted, but not utterly forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed.
10 আমরা সবসময়ই, আমাদের শরীরে যীশুর মৃত্যুকে বহন করে চলেছি, যেন আমাদের শরীরে যীশুর জীবনও প্রকাশ পায়।
At all times carrying about in the body, the putting to death of Jesus, that the life also of Jesus may be manifested in our body.
11 কারণ আমরা যারা জীবিত আছি, তাদের সবসময়ই যীশুর কারণে মৃত্যুর কাছে সমর্পণ করা হচ্ছে, যেন আমাদের এই মানবিক দেহে তাঁর জীবনও প্রকাশিত হতে পারে।
For we who live are always exposed to death for the sake of Jesus, that the life also of Jesus may be manifested in our mortal flesh.
12 তাহলে এখন, মৃত্যু আমাদের শরীরে সক্রিয় ঠিকই, কিন্তু তোমাদের মধ্যে জীবন সক্রিয় আছে।
So that death works in us, but life in you.
13 বিশ্বাসের সেই একই আত্মা আমাদের আছে বলে, যেমন লেখা আছে, “আমি বিশ্বাস করেছি, তাই কথা বলেছি,” সেই অনুযায়ী আমরাও বিশ্বাস করি ও সেই কারণে কথা বলি।
Yet, having the same spirit of faith, according to what is written, "I believed, therefore I have spoken"; we, also, believe, and therefore speak;
14 কারণ আমরা জানি যে, যিনি প্রভু যীশুকে মৃতলোক থেকে উত্থাপিত করেছেন, তিনি যীশুর সঙ্গে আমাদেরও উত্থাপিত করবেন এবং তোমাদের সঙ্গে আমাদেরও তাঁর সান্নিধ্যে উপস্থিত করবেন।
knowing that he who raised up the Lord Jesus, will raise us up, also, by Jesus, and will present us with you.
15 এসবই তোমাদের কল্যাণের জন্য, যেন যে অনুগ্রহ আরও বেশি সংখ্যক মানুষের কাছে উপস্থিত হচ্ছে, তা ঈশ্বরের মহিমার উদ্দেশে উপচে পড়া ধন্যবাদ জ্ঞাপনের কারণ হয়।
For all these things are for your sakes; that the favor which has abounded to many, may, through the thanksgiving of the greater number, redound to the glory of God.
16 সেই কারণে, আমরা নিরুৎসাহ হই না। যদিও বাহ্যিকভাবে আমরা ক্ষয়প্রাপ্ত হচ্ছি, তবুও অভ্যন্তরীণভাবে দিন-প্রতিদিন আমরা নতুন হচ্ছি।
Wherefore, we do not faint; but, though, indeed, out outward man is impaired, yet the inward man is renewed, day by day.
17 কারণ আমাদের তুচ্ছ ও ক্ষণস্থায়ী কষ্টসমস্যাগুলি আমাদের জন্য যে চিরন্তন মহিমা অর্জন করছে, তা সেইসব কষ্টসমস্যাকে বিপুলরূপে অতিক্রম করে। (aiōnios g166)
For our momentary light afflictions work out for us an eternal weight of glory, great beyond expression; (aiōnios g166)
18 তাই কোনো দৃশ্যমান বস্তুর দিকে নয়, কিন্তু যা অদৃশ্য তার প্রতি আমরা দৃষ্টি নিবদ্ধ করি। কারণ যা কিছু দৃশ্যমান, তা ক্ষণস্থায়ী, কিন্তু যা কিছু অদৃশ্য তাই চিরন্তন। (aiōnios g166)
while we are aiming, not at things seen, but at things unseen: for the things seen are temporal, but the things unseen are eternal. (aiōnios g166)
