২য় করিন্থীয় 11
1 আমি আশা করি, তোমরা আমার সামান্য নির্বুদ্ধিতা সহ্য করবে; অবশ্য তা তোমরা আগে থেকেই করে আসছ।
Would that ye would bear with me [in] a little folly; but indeed bear with me.
2 আমি তোমাদের জন্য ঈর্ষান্বিত, তবে সেই ঈর্ষা ঐশ্বরিক। আমি তোমাদেরকে এক বর, খ্রীষ্টের কাছে সমর্পণ করার জন্য বাগদান করেছি, যেন শুচিশুদ্ধ কুমারীর মতো আমি তাঁর কাছে তোমাদের উপস্থাপিত করি।
For I am jealous as to you with a jealousy [which is] of God; for I have espoused you unto one man, to present [you] a chaste virgin to Christ.
3 কিন্তু আমার ভয় হয়, হবা যেমন সেই সাপের চতুরতায় প্রতারিত হয়েছিলেন, খ্রীষ্টের প্রতি তোমাদের আন্তরিক ও অমলিন ভক্তি থেকে তোমাদের মন যেন কোনোভাবে বিপথে চালিত না হয়।
But I fear lest by any means, as the serpent deceived Eve by his craft, [so] your thoughts should be corrupted from simplicity as to the Christ.
4 কারণ কেউ যদি তোমাদের কাছে এসে যে যীশুকে আমরা প্রচার করেছি, তাঁকে ছাড়া এমন এক যীশুকে তোমাদের কাছে প্রচার করে বা যে পবিত্র আত্মা তোমরা পেয়েছ, তা ছাড়া অন্য কোনো আত্মাকে তোমরা গ্রহণ করো, কিংবা যে সুসমাচার তোমরা গ্রহণ করেছ, তা ছাড়া অন্য কোনো সুসমাচার পাও, তাহলে তো দেখছি তোমরা যথেষ্ট সহজেই সেসব সহ্য করছ।
For if indeed he that comes preaches another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or ye get a different Spirit, which ye have not got, or a different glad tidings, which ye have not received, ye might well bear with [it].
5 প্রকৃতপক্ষে, আমি মনে করি না, ওইসব “প্রেরিতশিষ্য-শিরোমণির” তুলনায় আমি কোনও অংশে নিকৃষ্ট।
For I reckon that in nothing I am behind those who are in surpassing degree apostles.
6 হতে পারে, আমি কোনও প্রশিক্ষিত বক্তা নই, কিন্তু আমার জ্ঞানবুদ্ধি আছে। আমরা সর্বতোভাবে এ বিষয় তোমাদের কাছে সম্পূর্ণরূপে স্পষ্ট করে দিয়েছি।
But if [I am] a simple person in speech, yet not in knowledge, but in everything making [the truth] manifest in all things to you.
7 তোমাদের উন্নত করার জন্য আমি নিজেকে অবনত করে বিনামূল্যে তোমাদের কাছে ঈশ্বরের সুসমাচার প্রচার করেছি। এতে আমার কি পাপ হয়েছে?
Have I committed sin, abasing myself in order that ye might be exalted, because I gratuitously announced to you the glad tidings of God?
8 তোমাদের সেবা করার জন্য অন্যান্য মণ্ডলী থেকে সাহায্য গ্রহণ করে আমি তাদের লুট করেছি।
I spoiled other assemblies, receiving hire for ministry towards you.
9 আর তোমাদের সঙ্গে থাকার সময় আমার যখন কিছু প্রয়োজন হত, আমি কারও বোঝা হইনি, কারণ ম্যাসিডোনিয়া থেকে আগত ভাইয়েরা আমার সমস্ত প্রয়োজন মিটিয়েছিলেন। কোনো দিক দিয়েই আমি যেন তোমাদের বোঝা না হই, তাই আমি নিজেকে রক্ষা করেছি এবং এভাবেই আমি করে যাব।
And being present with you and lacking, I did not lazily burden any one, (for the brethren who came from Macedonia supplied what I lacked, ) and in everything I kept myself from being a burden to you, and will keep myself.
10 খ্রীষ্টের সত্য যেমন নিশ্চিতরূপে আমার মধ্যে বিদ্যমান, সমস্ত আখায়া প্রদেশে কোনো মানুষই আমার এই গর্ব করা থেকে নিবৃত্ত করতে পারবে না।
[The] truth of Christ is in me that this boasting shall not be stopped as to me in the regions of Achaia.
11 কেন? আমি তোমাদের ভালোবাসি না বলে? ঈশ্বর জানেন, আমি ভালোবাসি!
Why? because I do not love you? God knows.
12 আর তাই আমি যা করছি, তা করেই যাব, যেন যারা আমাদের সমকক্ষ হওয়ার সুযোগ পেতে চায়, যে বিষয়গুলি নিয়ে তারা গর্ব করে, সেগুলির সুযোগ আমি তাদের পেতেই দেব না।
But what I do, I will also do, that I may cut off the opportunity of those wishing [for] an opportunity, that wherein they boast they may be found even as we.
13 কারণ এসব মানুষ হল ভণ্ড প্রেরিত, প্রতারক সব কর্মী, তারা খ্রীষ্টের প্রেরিতশিষ্যদের ছদ্মবেশ ধারণ করে।
For such [are] false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into apostles of Christ.
14 বিস্ময়ের কিছু নেই, কারণ শয়তান স্বয়ং দীপ্তিময় স্বর্গদূতের ছদ্মবেশ ধারণ করে।
And [it is] not wonderful, for Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light.
15 তাহলে এতেও অবাক হওয়ার কিছু নেই যে, তার পরিচারকেরা ধার্মিকতার পরিচারকদের ছদ্মবেশ ধারণ করবে। তাদের কাজের নিরিখেই তাদের যোগ্য পরিণতি হবে।
It is no great thing therefore if his ministers also transform themselves as ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.
16 আমি আবার বলছি, কেউ যেন আমাকে নির্বোধ বলে মনে না করে। কিন্তু তোমরা যদি করো, তাহলে এক নির্বোধের মতোই আমাকে গ্রহণ করো, যেন আমিও কিছুটা গর্ব করতে পারি।
Again I say, Let not any one think me to be a fool; but if otherwise, receive me then even as a fool, that I also may boast myself some little.
17 আত্মপ্রত্যয়ের সঙ্গে এই যে গর্বপ্রকাশ, প্রভু যে রকম বলতেন, আমি সেরকম বলছি না, কিন্তু বলছি এক নির্বোধের মতো।
What I speak I do not speak according to [the] Lord, but as in folly, in this confidence of boasting.
18 যেহেতু অনেকে যখন জাগতিক উপায়ে গর্ব করছে, আমিও সেভাবে গর্ব করব।
Since many boast according to flesh, I also will boast.
19 তোমরা সানন্দে মূর্খদের সহ্য করো, যেহেতু তোমরা কত জ্ঞানবান!
For ye bear fools readily, being wise.
20 প্রকৃতপক্ষে, কেউ যদি তোমাদের দাসত্ব করায়, কিংবা শোষণ করে বা তোমাদের কাছ থেকে সুযোগ আদায় করে বা নিজে গর্ব করে বা তোমাদের গালে চড় মারে—তোমরা এদের যে কাউকে সহ্য করে থাকো।
For ye bear if any one bring you into bondage, if any one devour [you], if any one get [your money], if any one exalt himself, if any one beat you on the face.
21 আমি লজ্জার সঙ্গে স্বীকার করছি যে, এ বিষয়ে আমরা খুবই দুর্বলচিত্ত ছিলাম! অপর কেউ যে বিষয়ে গর্ব করতে সাহস করে—আমি নির্বোধের মতোই বলছি—আমিও গর্ব করতে সাহস করি।
I speak as to dishonour, as though we had been weak; but wherein any one is daring, (I speak in folly, ) I also am daring.
22 ওরা কি হিব্রু? আমিও তাই। ওরা কি ইস্রায়েলী? আমিও তাই। ওরা কি অব্রাহামের বংশধর? আমিও তাই।
Are they Hebrews? I also. Are they Israelites? I also. Are they seed of Abraham? I also.
23 ওরা কি খ্রীষ্টের সেবক? (আমি উন্মাদের মতো একথা বলছি।) আমি বেশিমাত্রায়। আমি অনেক কঠোর পরিশ্রম করেছি, ঘনঘন কারাগারে বন্দি হয়েছি, অনেক বেশি চাবুকের মার খেয়েছি, বারবার মৃত্যুর সম্মুখীন হয়েছি।
Are they ministers of Christ? (I speak as being beside myself) I above measure [so]; in labours exceedingly abundant, in stripes to excess, in prisons exceedingly abundant, in deaths oft.
24 ইহুদিদের কাছ থেকে আমি পাঁচ দফায় ঊনচল্লিশ ঘা করে চাবুক খেয়েছি।
From the Jews five times have I received forty [stripes], save one.
25 তিনবার আমাকে বেত দিয়ে মারা হয়েছে, একবার পাথর দিয়ে, তিনবার আমি জাহাজডুবিতে পড়েছি, অগাধ সমুদ্রের জলে আমি এক রাত ও একদিন কাটিয়েছি,
Thrice have I been scourged, once I have been stoned, three times I have suffered shipwreck, a night and day I passed in the deep:
26 আমি অবিরত এক স্থান থেকে অন্যত্র গিয়েছি। আমি কতবার নদীতে বিপদে পড়েছি, দস্যুদের কাছে বিপদে, স্বদেশবাসীদের কাছে, অইহুদি জাতির কাছে বিপদে পড়েছি, নগরের মধ্যে, মরুপ্রান্তরে, সমুদ্রের মধ্যে ও ভণ্ড ভাইদের মধ্যে আমি বিপদে পড়েছি।
in journeyings often, in perils of rivers, in perils of robbers, in perils from [my own] race, in perils from [the] nations, in perils in [the] city, in perils in [the] desert, in perils on [the] sea, in perils among false brethren;
27 আমি পরিশ্রম ও কষ্ট করেছি এবং প্রায়ই অনিদ্রায় কাটিয়েছি, আমি ক্ষুধাতৃষ্ণার সঙ্গে পরিচিত হয়েছি ও কতবারই অনাহারে কাটিয়েছি, শীতে ও নগ্নতায় দিনযাপন করেছি।
in labour and toil, in watchings often, in hunger and thirst, in fastings often, in cold and nakedness.
28 এর সবকিছু ছাড়া, প্রতিদিন একটি বিষয় আমার উপর চাপ সৃষ্টি করে, তা হল, সব মণ্ডলীর চিন্তা।
Besides those things that are without, the crowd [of cares] pressing on me daily, the burden of all the assemblies.
29 কেউ দুর্বল হলে আমি দুর্বলতা অনুভব করি না? কেউ পাপপথে চালিত হলে আমার অন্তর রাগে জ্বলে ওঠে না?
Who is weak, and I am not weak? Who is stumbled, and I burn not?
30 আমাকে যদি গর্ব করতেই হয়, যেসব বিষয় আমার দুর্বলতাকে প্রকাশ করে, আমি সেসব বিষয় নিয়েই গর্ব করব।
If it is needful to boast, I will boast in the things which concern my infirmity.
31 প্রভু যীশুর ঈশ্বর ও পিতা, যিনি চিরতরে প্রশংসনীয়, তিনি জানেন যে, আমি মিথ্যা কথা বলছি না! (aiōn g165)
The God and Father of the Lord Jesus knows — he who is blessed for ever — that I do not lie. (aiōn g165)
32 দামাস্কাসে রাজা আরিতা-র অধীনস্থ প্রশাসক আমাকে গ্রেপ্তার করার জন্য দামাস্কাসবাসীদের সেই নগরে পাহারা বসিয়েছিলেন।
In Damascus the ethnarch of Aretas the king kept the city of the Damascenes shut up, wishing to take me;
33 কিন্তু প্রাচীরের একটি জানালা দিয়ে ঝুড়িতে করে আমাকে নামিয়ে দেওয়া হয়েছিল। এভাবে আমি তাঁর হাত এড়িয়েছিলাম।
and through a window in a basket I was let down by the wall, and escaped his hands.
