বংশাবলির দ্বিতীয় খণ্ড 5
1 সদাপ্রভুর মন্দিরের জন্য শলোমনের করা সব কাজ সমাপ্ত হয়ে যাওয়ার পর তিনি তাঁর বাবা দাউদের উৎসর্গ করা জিনিসপত্র—রুপো ও সোনা এবং সব আসবাবপত্রাদি—সেখানে নিয়ে এলেন এবং ঈশ্বরের মন্দিরের কোষাগারে সেগুলি রেখে দিলেন।
And all the work that Solomon made for the house of YHWH is finished, and Solomon brings in the sanctified things of his father David, and the silver, and the gold, and all the vessels he has put among the treasures of the house of God.
2 পরে দাউদ-নগরী সিয়োন থেকে সদাপ্রভুর নিয়ম-সিন্দুকটি নিয়ে আসার জন্য শলোমন ইস্রায়েলের প্রাচীনদের, বিভিন্ন গোষ্ঠীর সব কর্তাব্যক্তিকে ও ইস্রায়েলী বংশের প্রধান লোকজনদের জেরুশালেমে ডেকে পাঠালেন।
Then Solomon assembles the elderly of Israel, and all the heads of the tribes, princes of the fathers of the sons of Israel, to Jerusalem, to bring up the Ark of the Covenant of YHWH from the City of David—it [is] Zion.
3 সপ্তম মাসে উৎসব চলাকালীন ইস্রায়েলীরা সবাই রাজার কাছে একত্রিত হল।
And all the men of Israel are assembled to the king in the celebration—it [is] the seventh month;
4 ইস্রায়েলের প্রাচীনেরা সবাই সেখানে পৌঁছে যাওয়ার পর লেবীয়েরা সেই সিন্দুকটি উঠিয়েছিলেন,
and all [the] elderly of Israel come in, and the Levites lift up the Ark,
5 এবং তারা সেই সিন্দুকটি ও সমাগম তাঁবুটি ও সেখানে রাখা সব পবিত্র আসবাবপত্রাদি উঠিয়ে এনেছিল। লেবীয় বংশোদ্ভুক্ত যাজকেরা সেগুলি বহন করলেন;
and they bring up the Ark, and the Tent of Meeting, and all the holy vessels that [are] in the tent; the priests, the Levites, have brought them up;
6 আর রাজা শলোমন ও তাঁর কাছে একত্রিত হওয়া ইস্রায়েলের সমগ্র জনসমাজ সিন্দুকটির সামনে উপস্থিত হয়ে এত মেষ ও গবাদি পশুবলি দিলেন, যে সেগুলি নথিভুক্ত করে বা গুনে রাখা সম্ভব হয়নি।
and King Solomon and all the congregation of Israel who are convened to him before the Ark are sacrificing sheep and oxen that are not counted nor numbered from multitude.
7 যাজকেরা পরে সদাপ্রভুর নিয়ম-সিন্দুকটি মন্দিরের ভিতরদিকের পীঠস্থানে, অর্থাৎ মহাপবিত্র স্থানে সেটির জন্য ঠিক করে রাখা স্থানে নিয়ে এলেন, এবং দুটি করূবের ডানার নিচে রেখে দিলেন।
And the priests bring in the Ark of the Covenant of YHWH to its place, to the oracle of the house, to the Holy of Holies, to the place of the wings of the cherubim;
8 করূব দুটি সেই সিন্দুক রাখার স্থানের উপর তাদের ডানা মেলে ধরেছিল এবং সেই সিন্দুক ও সেটির হাতলগুলি ঢেকে রেখেছিল।
and the cherubim are spreading out wings over the place of the Ark, and the cherubim cover over the Ark, and over its poles, from above;
9 সেই হাতলগুলি এত লম্বা ছিল যে সিন্দুক থেকে বের হয়ে আসা হাতলের শেষপ্রান্তগুলি ভিতরদিকের পীঠস্থানের সামনে থেকে দেখা যেত, কিন্তু পবিত্রস্থানের বাইরে থেকে দেখা যেত না; আর সেগুলি আজও সেখানেই আছে।
and they lengthen the poles, and the heads of the poles are seen out of the Ark on the front of the oracle, and they are not seen outside; and it is there to this day.
10 সেই সিন্দুকে সেই দুটি পাথরের ফলক ছাড়া আর কিছুই ছিল না, যেগুলি ইস্রায়েলীরা মিশর দেশ থেকে বের হয়ে আসার পর সদাপ্রভু তাদের সাথে যেখানে এক নিয়ম স্থাপন করলেন, সেই হোরেবে মোশি সিন্দুকে ভরে রেখেছিলেন।
There is nothing in the Ark but the two tablets that Moses gave in Horeb, where YHWH covenanted with the sons of Israel, in their going out from Egypt.
11 যাজকেরা পরে পবিত্রস্থান ছেড়ে চলে গেলেন। সেখানে উপস্থিত যাজকেরা সবাই তাদের বিভাগের কথা না ভেবেই নিজেদের উৎসর্গ করে দিলেন।
And it comes to pass, in the going out of the priests from the holy place—for all the priests who are present have sanctified themselves, there is none to watch by divisions,
12 যেসব লেবীয় গানবাজনা করতেন—আসফ, হেমন, যিদূথূন ও তাদের ছেলেরা ও আত্মীয়স্বজন—তারা সবাই মিহি মসিনার কাপড় গায়ে দিয়ে ও সুরবাহার, বীণা ও খঞ্জনি বাজাতে বাজাতে যজ্ঞবেদির পূর্বদিকে গিয়ে দাঁড়িয়েছিলেন। তাদের সাথে ছিলেন আরও 120 জন যাজক, যারা শিঙা বাজাচ্ছিলেন।
and the Levites, the singers, to all of them, to Asaph, to Heman, to Jeduthun, and to their sons, and to their brothers, clothed in white linen, with cymbals, and with psalteries, and harps, are standing on the east of the altar, and with them one hundred and twenty priests blowing with trumpets—
13 শিঙাবাদকেরা ও বাদ্যকররা সদাপ্রভুর উদ্দেশে প্রশংসা ও ধন্যবাদ জানানোর জন্য যুগপৎ বিভিন্ন স্কেলে একই স্বর বাজিয়ে যাচ্ছিলেন। শিঙা, সুরবাহার ও অন্যান্য বাদ্যযন্ত্রের সংগত পেয়ে গায়করাও সদাপ্রভুর উদ্দেশে প্রশংসা করতে গিয়ে গলার স্বর উচ্চগ্রামে তুলেছিল এবং তারা গেয়েছিল: “তিনি মঙ্গলময়; তাঁর প্রেম চিরস্থায়ী।” তখন সদাপ্রভুর মন্দির মেঘে পরিপূর্ণ হয়ে উঠেছিল,
indeed, it comes to pass, trumpeters and singers [are] as one, to sound [with] one voice—to praise and to give thanks to YHWH, and at the lifting up of the sound with trumpets, and with cymbals, and with instruments of song, and at giving praise to YHWH, [saying], “For [He is] good, for His kindness [is] for all time,” that the house is filled with a cloud—the house of YHWH,
14 এবং সেই মেঘের কারণে যাজকেরা তাদের পরিচর্যা করে উঠতে পারেননি, যেহেতু সদাপ্রভুর প্রতাপে ঈশ্বরের মন্দিরটি পরিপূর্ণ হয়ে উঠেছিল।
and the priests have not been able to stand to minister from the presence of the cloud, for the glory of YHWH has filled the house of God.
