১ম পিতর 5
1 তোমাদের মধ্যে যে প্রাচীনেরা আছেন, তাদের কাছে আমিও একজন প্রাচীন, খ্রীষ্টের কষ্টভোগের সাক্ষী ও যে মহিমা প্রকাশিত হবে তার অংশীদাররূপে আমি মিনতি করছি,
Elders (therefore *NO*) (*ko*) among you I exhort a fellow elder and witness of the of Christ sufferings, who [am] also of the being about to be revealed glory a partaker,
2 ঈশ্বরের যে পাল তোমাদের তত্ত্বাবধানে আছে, তাদের পালক হও—তত্ত্বাবধায়করূপে তাদের সেবা করো—বাধ্য হয়ে নয়, কিন্তু তোমরা ইচ্ছুক বলে, যেমন ঈশ্বর তোমাদের কাছে চান; অর্থের লালসায় নয়, কিন্তু সেবার আগ্রহ নিয়ে,
do shepherd the among you flock of God exercising oversight not under compulsion but willingly (according to God, *NO*) and not for base gain but eagerly;
3 যাদের তোমাদের হাতে সমপর্ণ করা হয়েছে, তাদের উপরে প্রভুত্ব করার জন্য নয়, কিন্তু পালের কাছে আদর্শস্বরূপ হয়ে করো।
not as exercising lordship over those in your charge but examples being to the flock;
4 তাহলে, যখন প্রধান পালক প্রকাশিত হবেন, তোমরা মহিমার মুকুট লাভ করবে, যা কখনও ম্লান হবে না।
And when was being revealed the Chief Shepherd you will receive the unfading of glory crown.
5 সেভাবে যুবকেরা, তোমরা প্রাচীনদের বশ্যতাস্বীকার করো। তোমাদের মধ্যে প্রত্যেকেই পরস্পরের প্রতি নতনম্র আচরণ করো, কারণ, “ঈশ্বর অহংকারীদের প্রতিরোধ করেন, কিন্তু বিনম্রদের অনুগ্রহ-দান করেন।”
Likewise younger [ones], do be subjected to [your] elders, All now to one another (be submitting yourselves *k*) humility do gird on, because God [the] proud opposes, to [the] humble however He gives grace.
6 সেই কারণে, ঈশ্বরের পরাক্রমী হাতের নিচে, নিজেদের নতনম্র করো, যেন তিনি উপযুক্ত সময়ে তোমাদের উন্নত করেন।
do be humbled therefore under the mighty hand of God, so that you He may exalt in [due] time,
7 তোমাদের সমস্ত দুশ্চিন্তার ভার তাঁরই উপরে দিয়ে দাও, কারণ তিনি তোমাদের জন্য চিন্তা করেন।
all the anxiety of you having cast upon Him, because with Him there is care about you.
8 তোমরা আত্মসংযমী হও ও সতর্ক থাকো। তোমাদের শত্রু, সেই দিয়াবল, গর্জনকারী সিংহের মতো কাকে গ্রাস করবে, তাকে চারদিকে খুঁজে বেড়াচ্ছে।
do be sober-minded, do watch (that *k*) The adversary of You [the] devil as a lion roaring he prowls about seeking (whom to devour; *N(k)O*)
9 বিশ্বাসে অটল থেকে তোমরা তার প্রতিরোধ করো, কারণ তোমরা জানো যে, সমগ্র জগতে বিশ্বাসী মণ্ডলীও একই রকমের কষ্ট-লাঞ্ছনা ভোগ করছে।
whom do resist firm in the faith knowing the same sufferings throughout (the *no*) world in your brotherhood [is] being accomplished.
10 আর সমস্ত অনুগ্রহের ঈশ্বর, যিনি খ্রীষ্টে তাঁর অনন্ত মহিমা প্রদানের জন্য তোমাদের আহ্বান করেছেন, সাময়িক কষ্টভোগ করার পর তিনি স্বয়ং তোমাদের পুনঃপ্রতিষ্ঠিত করবেন এবং তোমাদের শক্তিশালী, সুদৃঢ় ও অবিচল করবেন। (aiōnios g166)
The now God of all grace the [one] having called (you *N(K)O*) to the eternal of Him glory in Christ Jesus a little while [of you] having suffered He Himself (will perfect *N(k)O*) (you *k*) (he will confirm [you], he will strengthen [you], [and] he will establish [you]. *N(k)O*) (aiōnios g166)
To Him [be] (the glory and *K*) the power to the ages (of the *ko*) (ages. *KO*) Amen. (aiōn g165)
12 সীল, যাঁকে আমি বিশ্বস্ত ভাই বলে মনে করি, তাঁরই সাহায্য নিয়ে আমি তোমাদের উৎসাহ দিয়ে এই সংক্ষিপ্ত পত্র লিখেছি এবং সাক্ষ্য দিচ্ছি যে, এই হল ঈশ্বরের প্রকৃত অনুগ্রহ। এতেই তোমরা স্থির থাকো।
Through Silvanus to you the faithful brother as I regard [him], through few [words] I have written exhorting and testifying this to be [the] true grace of God, in which (do stand firm. *N(k)O*)
13 তোমাদেরই সঙ্গে মনোনীত ব্যাবিলনবাসী সেই বোন তোমাদের প্রতি তাঁর শুভেচ্ছা জানাচ্ছেন। আমার পুত্রসম মার্ক-ও তাঁর শুভেচ্ছা জানাচ্ছেন।
Greets you she in Babylon elected with [you] and Mark the son of mine.
14 প্রীতি-চুম্বনে তোমরা পরস্পরকে শুভেচ্ছা জানাও। তোমরা যতজন খ্রীষ্টে আছ, সকলের প্রতি শান্তি বর্তুক।
do greet one another with a kiss of love. Peace [be] to you all who [are] in Christ (Jesus. Amen. *K*)
