১ম করিন্থীয় 2
1 ভাইবোনেরা, আমি যখন তোমাদের কাছে গিয়েছিলাম, আমি কোনো বাক্যের অলংকার ব্যবহার বা জ্ঞানের উৎকৃষ্টতায় তোমাদের কাছে ঈশ্বরের সাক্ষ্য ঘোষণা করতে যাইনি।
And I, brethren, when I came to you, came not with excellence of speech or of wisdom, declaring to you the testimony of God.
2 কারণ আমি মনস্থির করেছিলাম, তোমাদের সঙ্গে থাকার সময়, আমি যীশু খ্রীষ্ট ও তাঁকে ক্রুশবিদ্ধ বলে জানা ছাড়া আর কিছুই জানতে চাইব না।
For I determined not to know any thing among you but Jesus Christ, and him crucified.
3 আমি দুর্বলতায় ও ভয়ে এবং মহাকম্পিত হয়ে তোমাদের কাছে গিয়েছিলাম।
And I was with you in weakness, and in fear, and in much trembling:
4 আমার বার্তা ও আমার প্রচার কোনও জ্ঞানের বা প্রেরণা দেওয়ার বাক্যযুক্ত ছিল না, কিন্তু ছিল পবিত্র আত্মার পরাক্রমের প্রদর্শনযুক্ত,
and my speech and my preaching were not in persuasive words of man’s wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power,
5 যেন তোমাদের বিশ্বাস মানবীয় জ্ঞানের উপরে প্রতিষ্ঠিত না হয়ে ঈশ্বরের পরাক্রমের উপরে হয়।
that your faith might not be in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.
6 যারা পরিণত তাদের কাছে আমরা জ্ঞানের কথা বলে থাকি, তা কিন্তু এই যুগের জ্ঞান অনুযায়ী নয় বা এই যুগের শাসকদেরও নয়, যারা ক্রমেই মূল্যহীন হয়ে পড়ছেন। (aiōn g165)
Yet we speak wisdom among the perfect; but not the wisdom of this age, nor of the rulers of this age, who are brought to nought: (aiōn g165)
7 না, আমরা ঈশ্বরের গোপন জ্ঞানের কথা বলি, যে নিগূঢ়তত্ত্ব গুপ্ত ছিল, যা সময় শুরু হওয়ার আগেই ঈশ্বর আমাদের মহিমার জন্য নির্দিষ্ট করে রেখেছিলেন। (aiōn g165)
but we speak God’s wisdom in a mystery, even that which had been hidden, which God predestined before the ages, for our glory, (aiōn g165)
8 এই যুগের শাসকদের কেউই তা বুঝতে পারেননি, কারণ যদি পারতেন, তাহলে তাঁরা মহিমার প্রভুকে ক্রুশবিদ্ধ করতেন না। (aiōn g165)
which none of the rulers of this age knew; for, had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of Glory. (aiōn g165)
9 কিন্তু, যেমন লেখা আছে, “কোনো চোখ যা দেখেনি, কোনো কান যা শোনেনি, কোনো মানুষের মনে যা আসেনি, যারা তাঁকে ভালোবাসে, ঈশ্বর তাদের জন্য তাই প্রস্তুত করেছেন।”
But, as it is written: Eye has not seen, and ear has not heard, and into the heart of man have not entered the things which God has prepared for them that love him.
10 কিন্তু ঈশ্বর, তাঁর আত্মার দ্বারা, সেসব আমাদের কাছে প্রকাশ করেছেন। আত্মা সকল বিষয়ের, এমনকি, ঈশ্বরের নিগূঢ় বিষয়গুলিও অনুসন্ধান করেন।
But God has revealed them to us through his Spirit; for the Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God.
11 কারণ মানুষের অন্তরের আত্মা ছাড়া কোনো মানুষের চিন্তা কে জানতে পারে? একইভাবে, ঈশ্বরের চিন্তাভাবনা ঈশ্বরের আত্মা ছাড়া আর কেউই জানতে পারে না।
For what man knows the things of man, but the spirit of man which is in him? Even so, the things of God no one knows, but the Spirit of God.
12 আমরা জগতের আত্মাকে লাভ করিনি, কিন্তু লাভ করেছি সেই আত্মাকে, যিনি ঈশ্বর থেকে নির্গত হয়েছেন, যেন আমরা বুঝতে পারি, ঈশ্বর বিনামূল্যে আমাদের কী দান করেছেন।
And we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit which is from God, that we may know the things that are freely given to us by God:
13 আমরা একথাই বলি, মানুষের জ্ঞান দ্বারা আমাদের শেখানো ভাষায় নয়, কিন্তু পবিত্র আত্মার দ্বারা শেখানো ভাষায়, যা আত্মিক বিভিন্ন সত্যকে আত্মিক ভাষায় ব্যক্ত করে।
which things also we speak, not in words taught by man’s wisdom, but in words taught by the Spirit, comparing spiritual things with spiritual things.
14 প্রাকৃতিক মানুষ ঈশ্বরের আত্মা থেকে আগত বিষয়গুলি গ্রহণ করতে পারে না, কারণ সেসব তার কাছে মূর্খতা। সে সেগুলি বুঝতেও পারে না, কারণ সেগুলিকে আত্মিকভাবে বিচার-বিশ্লেষণ করতে হয়।
But an animal man receives not the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him, and he can not know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
15 আত্মিক চেতনা সম্পন্ন মানুষ সব বিষয়েরই বিচার করে, কিন্তু সে স্বয়ং কোনো মানুষের বিচারাধীন হয় না।
But the spiritual man discerns all things; yet he himself is discerned by no one.
16 “কারণ প্রভুর মন কে জানতে পেরেছে, যে তাঁকে পরামর্শ দান করতে পারে?” কিন্তু খ্রীষ্টের মন আমাদের আছে।
For who has known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.
