1 এখন ঈশ্বরের লোকদের জন্য দান সংগ্রহ প্রসঙ্গে লিখছি: আমি গালাতিয়ায় অবস্থিত মণ্ডলীগুলিকে যা করতে বলেছি, তোমরাও তাই করো।
Now concerning the collection for the saints, as I have given order to the churches of Galatia, even so do ye.
2 প্রত্যেক সপ্তাহের প্রথম দিনে, তোমাদের প্রত্যেকে নিজ নিজ উপার্জনের সঙ্গে সংগতি রেখে কিছু অর্থ আলাদা করে সরিয়ে রাখো, যেন আমি যখনই আসি, তখন কোনো অর্থ সংগ্রহ করতে না হয়।
Upon the first [day] of the week, let every one of you lay by him in store, as [God] hath prospered him, that there be no collections when I come.
3 তারপর, আমি উপস্থিত হলে, তোমরা যাদের উপযুক্ত মনে করবে, আমি তাদের পরিচয়-পত্র দিয়ে তোমাদের সেই দান তাদের মাধ্যমে জেরুশালেমে পাঠিয়ে দেব।
And when I come, whomsoever ye shall approve by [your] letters, them will I send to bring your liberality to Jerusalem.
4 আর যদি আমার যাওয়া প্রয়োজন বলে মনে হয়, তবে তারা আমার সঙ্গে যাবে।
And if it be proper that I should go also, they shall go with me.
5 ম্যাসিডোনিয়া দিয়ে আমার যাত্রা শেষ হলেই আমি তোমাদের ওখানে যাব—কারণ আমাকে ম্যাসিডোনিয়ার মধ্য দিয়ে যেতে হবে।
Now I will come to you, when I shall pass through Macedonia: for I am to pass through Macedonia.
6 আমি হয়তো কিছুকাল তোমাদের সঙ্গে থাকব, কিংবা শীতকালও কাটাব, যেন আমি যেখানেই যাই, তোমরা আমার যাত্রায় সাহায্য করতে পারো।
And it may be that I shall abide, and even winter with you, that ye may bring me on my journey whithersoever I go.
7 আমি এখন তোমাদের সঙ্গে মাত্র কিছুক্ষণের জন্য দেখাসাক্ষাৎ করতে চাই না। প্রভুর অনুমতি পেলে, আমি তোমাদের সঙ্গে কিছু সময় কাটানোর আশা করছি।
For I will not see you now by the way; but I trust to tarry a while with you, if the Lord permit.
8 কিন্তু পঞ্চাশত্তমী পর্যন্ত আমি ইফিষেই থাকব,
But I shall tarry at Ephesus until Pentecost.
9 কারণ মহৎ কাজের এক উন্মুক্ত দুয়ার আমার সামনে খুলে গিয়েছে, যদিও এখানে অনেকেই আমার বিরোধিতা করে।
For a great door and effectual is opened to me, and [there are] many adversaries.
10 যদি তিমথি আসেন, তবে দেখো, তোমাদের সঙ্গে থাকার সময় তাঁর ভয় পাওয়ার যেন কিছু না থাকে, কারণ তিনি আমারই মতো প্রভুর কাজ করে চলেছেন।
Now if Timothy come, see that he may be with you without fear: for he worketh the work of the Lord, as I also [do].
11 তাই, কেউই তাঁকে যেন গ্রহণ করতে অস্বীকার না করে। তাঁকে শান্তিতে তাঁর যাত্রাপথে পাঠিয়ে দিয়ো, যেন তিনি আমার কাছে ফিরে আসতে পারেন। আমি ভাইদের সঙ্গে তাঁরও আগমনের প্রতীক্ষায় আছি।
Let no man therefore despise him: but conduct him forth in peace, that he may come to me: for I look for him with the brethren.
12 এখন আমাদের ভাই আপল্লো সম্পর্কে বলছি, অন্যান্য বিশ্বাসীদের সঙ্গে তোমাদের কাছে যাওয়ার জন্য আমি তাঁকে অনেক অনুরোধ করেছিলাম। কিন্তু তিনি এখন একেবারেই যেতে ইচ্ছুক নন। পরে সুযোগ পেলেই তিনি যাবেন।
As concerning [our] brother Apollos, I greatly desired him to come to you with the brethren: but his will was not at all to come at this time; but he will come when he shall have convenient time.
13 তোমরা সতর্ক থেকো; বিশ্বাসে অবিচলিত থেকো; সাহসী ও শক্তিমান হও।
Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, acquit yourselves like men, be strong.
14 তোমরা যা কিছু করো সেসব ভালোবাসায় করো।
Let all your things be done with charity.
15 তোমরা জানো যে স্তেফানার পরিজনেরা হলেন আখায়া প্রদেশের প্রথম ফসল, তাঁরা পবিত্রগণের সেবাকাজে নিজেদের নিযুক্ত করেছেন। ভাইবোনেরা, আমি তোমাদের অনুরোধ করছি,
I beseech you, brethren, (ye know the house of Stephanas, that it is the first fruits of Achaia, and [that] they have addicted themselves to the ministry of the saints, )
16 তোমরা এইসব লোকদের এবং যতজন কাজে যুক্ত হয় ও পরিশ্রম করে, তাঁদের প্রত্যেকের বাধ্য হও।
That ye submit yourselves to such, and to every one that helpeth with [us], and laboreth.
17 স্তেফানা, ফর্তুনাত ও আখাইকার আগমনে আমি আনন্দিত হয়েছিলাম, কারণ তোমাদের থেকে যা অপূর্ণ ছিল, তাঁরা তা সরবরাহ করেছেন।
I am glad of the coming of Stephanas, and Fortunatus, and Achaicus: for that which was lacking on your part, they have supplied.
18 এর কারণ হল, তাঁরা আমার ও সেই সঙ্গে তোমাদেরও আত্মাকে অনুপ্রাণিত করেছেন। এই ধরনের লোকেরা স্বীকৃতি পাওয়ার যোগ্য।
For they have refreshed my spirit and yours: therefore acknowledge ye them that are such.
19 এশিয়া প্রদেশের সব মণ্ডলী তোমাদের অভিবাদন জানাচ্ছেন। আক্বিলা ও প্রিষ্কিল্লা এবং তাঁদের বাড়িতে সমবেত হওয়া মণ্ডলী, প্রভুতে তোমাদের উষ্ণ শুভেচ্ছা জ্ঞাপন করছেন।
The churches of Asia salute you. Aquila and Priscilla salute you much in the Lord, with the church that is in their house.
20 এখানকার সমস্ত ভাইবোনেরা তোমাদের শুভেচ্ছা জানাচ্ছেন। তোমরা পবিত্র চুম্বনে পরস্পরকে প্রীতি-সম্ভাষণ জানাও।
All the brethren greet you. Greet ye one another with a holy kiss.
21 আমি পৌল, নিজের হাতে এই অভিনন্দনবাণী লিখছি।
The salutation of [me] Paul with my own hand.
22 কেউ যদি প্রভুকে না ভালোবাসে, তবে তার উপরে অভিশাপ নেমে আসুক। হে প্রভু, তুমি এসো!
If any man loveth not the Lord Jesus Christ, let him be Anathema, Maran-atha.
23 প্রভু যীশুর অনুগ্রহ তোমাদের সহবর্তী হোক।
The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ [be] with you.
24 খ্রীষ্ট যীশুতে তোমাদের সকলকে আমার ভালোবাসা জানাই। আমেন।
My love [be] with you all in Christ Jesus. Amen.
