1 দ্বাররক্ষীদের বিভিন্ন বিভাগ: কোরহীয়দের মধ্যে থেকে: আসফের বংশোদ্ভুক্ত কোরির ছেলে মশেলিমিয়।

For the courses of the gatekeepers: of the Korhites [is] Meshelemiah son of Kore, of the sons of Asaph;

2 মশেলিমিয়ের কয়েকটি ছেলে ছিল: বড়ো ছেলে সখরিয়, দ্বিতীয়জন যিদীয়েল, তৃতীয়জন সবদিয়, চতুর্থজন যৎনীয়েল,

and to Meshelemiah [are] sons, Zechariah the first-born, Jediael the second, Zebadiah the third, Jathniel the fourth,

3 পঞ্চমজন এলম, ষষ্ঠজন যিহোহানন এবং সপ্তমজন ইলিহৈনয়।

Elam the fifth, Jehohanan the sixth, Elioenai the seventh.

4 ওবেদ-ইদোমেরও কয়েকটি ছেলে ছিল: বড়ো ছেলে শময়িয়, দ্বিতীয়জন যিহোষাবদ, তৃতীয়জন যোয়াহ, চতুর্থজন সাখর, পঞ্চমজন নথনেল,

And to Obed-Edom [are] sons, Shemaiah the first-born, Jehozabad the second, Joah the third, and Sacar the fourth, and Nethaneel the fifth,

5 ষষ্ঠজন অম্মীয়েল, সপ্তমজন ইষাখর এবং অষ্টমজন পিয়ূল্লতয়। (কারণ ঈশ্বর ওবেদ-ইদোমকে আশীর্বাদ করলেন)

Ammiel the sixth, Issachar the seventh, Peullethai the eighth, for God hath blessed him.

6 ওবেদ-ইদোমের ছেলে শময়িয়েরও এমন কয়েকটি ছেলে ছিল, যারা তাদের পিতৃকুলে নেতা হলেন, যেহেতু তারা ছিলেন যথেষ্ট যোগ্যতাসম্পন্ন পুরুষ।

And to Shemaiah his son have sons been born, who are ruling throughout the house of their father, for they [are] mighty of valour.

7 শময়িয়ের ছেলেরা হলেন: অৎনি, রফায়েল, ওবেদ ও ইলসাবদ; তাঁর আত্মীয়দের মধ্যে ইলীহূ ও সমথিয়ও যোগ্যতাসম্পন্ন পুরুষ ছিলেন।

Sons of Shemaiah [are] Othni, and Rephael, and Obed, Elzabad; his brethren [are] sons of valour, Elihu and Semachiah,

8 এরা সবাই ওবেদ-ইদোমের বংশধর; তারা এবং তাদের ছেলে ও আত্মীয়রা সবাই কাজ করার ক্ষেত্রে যথেষ্ট শক্তিশালী ও যোগ্যতাসম্পন্ন পুরুষ ছিলেন—ওবেদ-ইদোমের বংশধর, মোট 62 জন।

all these [are] of the sons of Obed-Edom; they, and their sons, and their brethren, men of valour with might for service, [are] sixty and two of Obed-Edom.

9 মশেলিমিয়ের কয়েকটি ছেলে ও আত্মীয় ছিল, যারা যোগ্যতাসম্পন্ন পুরুষ—মোট 18 জন।

And to Meshelemiah [are] sons and brethren, sons of valour, eighteen;

10 মরারীয় হোষার কয়েকটি ছেলে ছিল: প্রথমজন সিম্রি (যদিও তিনি বড়ো ছেলে ছিলেন না, তবুও তাঁর বাবা তাঁকেই প্রধান পদে নিযুক্ত করলেন),

and to Hosah, of the sons of Merari, [are] sons: Shimri the head (though he was not first-born, yet his father setteth him for head),

11 দ্বিতীয়জন হিল্কিয়, তৃতীয়জন টবলিয় এবং চতুর্থজন সখরিয়। হোষার ছেলে ও আত্মীয়দের সংখ্যা মোট 13 জন।

Hilkiah the second, Tebaliah the third, Zechariah the fourth; all the sons and brethren of Hosah [are] thirteen.

12 দ্বাররক্ষীদের এই বিভাগগুলির কাজ ছিল তাদের নেতাদের মাধ্যমে সদাপ্রভুর মন্দিরে পরিচর্যা করে যাওয়া, ঠিক যেভাবে তাদের আত্মীয়রাও তা করতেন।

According to these [are] the courses of the gatekeepers; to the heads of the mighty ones [are] charges over-against their brethren, to minister in the house of Jehovah,

13 ছোটো-বড়ো নির্বিশেষে, তাদের বংশানুসারে প্রত্যেকটি দরজার জন্য গুটিকাপাত করা হল।

and they cause to fall lots, as well the small as the great, according to the house of their fathers, for gate and gate.

14 পূর্বদিকের দরজাটির জন্য গুটিকাপাতের দানটি পড়েছিল শেলিমিয়ের নামে। পরে তাঁর ছেলে তথা জ্ঞানী পরামর্শদাতা সখরিয়ের জন্য গুটিকাপাতের দান চালা হল, এবং উত্তর দিকের দরজাটির জন্য গুটিকার দানটি পড়েছিল তাঁর নামে।

And the lot falleth eastward to Shelemiah; and [for] Zechariah his son — a counsellor with understanding — they cause to fall lots, and his lot goeth out northward:

15 দক্ষিণ দিকের দরজাটির জন্য গুটিকাপাতের দানটি পড়েছিল ওবেদ-ইদোমের নামে, এবং ভাঁড়ারঘরের জন্য গুটিকাপাতের দানটি পড়েছিল তাঁর ছেলেদের নামে।

to Obed-Edom southward, and to his sons, the house of the gatherings;

16 পশ্চিমদিকের দরজাটির ও উপরের দিকে যাওয়ার রাস্তায় অবস্থিত শল্লেখৎ বলে পরিচিত দরজাটির জন্য গুটিকাপাতের দানগুলি পড়েছিল শুপ্পীমের ও হোষার নামে। একজন পাহারাদারের পাশাপাশি আরেকজন পাহারাদার মোতায়েন করা হল:

to Shuppim and to Hosah to the west, with the gate Shallecheth, in the highway, the ascent, charge over-against charge;

17 পূর্বদিকে প্রতিদিন ছ-জন করে লেবীয় মোতায়েন থাকতেন, উত্তর দিকে প্রতিদিন চারজন করে, দক্ষিণ দিকে প্রতিদিন চারজন করে এবং ভাঁড়ারঘরে দুই দুজন করে মোতায়েন থাকতেন।

to the east the Levites [are] six; to the north daily four, to the south daily four, and to the gatherings two by two,

18 পশ্চিমদিকের প্রাঙ্গণের ক্ষেত্রে, রাস্তার দিকে চারজন ও সেই প্রাঙ্গণটিতেই দুজন করে মোতায়েন থাকতেন।

at Parbar, to the west, [are] four at the highway, two at Parbar.

19 এই হল সেইসব দ্বাররক্ষীর বিভাগগুলির বিবরণ, যারা কোরহ ও মরারির বংশধর ছিলেন।

These are the courses of the gatekeepers, of the sons of the Korhite, and of the sons of Merari.

20 তাদের সহকর্মী লেবীয়েরা ঈশ্বরের ভবনের কোষাগারগুলি এবং উৎসর্গীকৃত জিনিসপত্র রাখার জন্য তৈরি কোষাগারগুলি দেখাশোনা করার দায়িত্ব পেয়েছিলেন।

And of the Levites, Ahijah [is] over the treasures of the house of God, even for the treasures of the holy things.

21 লাদনের বংশধরদের মধ্যে যারা লাদনের মাধ্যমে গের্শোনীয় পরিচয় পেয়েছিলেন এবং গের্শোনীয় লাদনের বংশের অন্তর্গত কর্তাব্যক্তি ছিলেন, তারা হলেন যিহীয়েলি,

Sons of Laadan: sons of the Gershonite, of Laadan, heads of the fathers of Laadan the Gershonite: Jehieli.

22 যিহীয়েলির ছেলেরা হলেন, সেথম ও তাঁর ভাই যোয়েল। তাদের উপর সদাপ্রভুর মন্দিরের কোষাগারগুলি দেখাশোনা করার দায়িত্ব ছিল।

Sons of Jehieli: Zetham, and Joel his brother, over the treasures of the house of Jehovah,

23 অম্রামীয়, যিষ্‌হরীয়, হিব্রোণীয় ও উষীয়েলীয়দের মধ্যে থেকে:

for the Amramite, for the Izharite, for the Hebronite, for the Uzzielite.

24 মোশির ছেলে গের্শোমের একজন বংশধর শবূয়েল, কোষাগারগুলির দায়িত্বপ্রাপ্ত উচ্চপদস্থ এক কর্মচারী ছিলেন।

And Shebuel son of Gershom, son of Moses, [is] president over the treasures.

25 ইলীয়েষরের মাধ্যমে যারা তাঁর আত্মীয়স্বজন হলেন, তারা হলেন: তাঁর ছেলে রহবিয়, তাঁর ছেলে যিশায়াহ, তাঁর ছেলে যোরাম, তাঁর ছেলে সিখ্রি ও তাঁর ছেলে শলোমোৎ।

And his brethren, of Eliezer, [are] Rehabiah his son, and Jeshaiah his son, and Joram his son, and Zichri his son, and Shelomith his son.

26 রাজা দাউদের, সহস্র-সেনাপতি ও শত-সেনাপতিরূপে নিযুক্ত বিভিন্ন বংশের কর্তাব্যক্তিদের এবং সৈন্যদলের অন্যান্য সেনাপতিদের দ্বারা উৎসর্গীকৃত জিনিসপত্র যেখানে রাখা হত, সেইসব কোষাগার দেখাশোনা করার দায়িত্ব তুলে দেওয়া হল শলোমোৎ ও তাঁর আত্মীয়দের হাতে।

This Shelomith and his brethren [are] over all the treasures of the holy things, that David the king, and heads of the fathers, even heads of thousands, and of hundreds, and heads of the host, sanctified;

27 যুদ্ধ করে পাওয়া লুটসামগ্রীর মধ্যে কিছু কিছু জিনিসপত্র তারা সদাপ্রভুর মন্দির মেরামতির জন্য উৎসর্গ করে দিলেন।

from the battles, even from the spoil they sanctified to strengthen the house of Jehovah;

28 দর্শক শমূয়েলের এবং কীশের ছেলে শৌলের, নেরের ছেলে অবনেরের ও সরূয়ার ছেলে যোয়াবের দ্বারা উৎসর্গীকৃত সবকিছু, ও উৎসর্গীকৃত অন্যান্য সব জিনিসপত্র শলোমোৎ ও তাঁর আত্মীয়দের তত্ত্বাবধানে রাখা হল।

and all that Samuel the seer, and Saul son of Kish, and Abner son of Ner, and Joab son of Zeruiah sanctified, every one sanctifying [any thing — it is] by the side of Shelomith and his brethren.

29 যিষ্‌হরীয়দের মধ্যে থেকে: কননিয়কে ও তাঁর ছেলেদের ইস্রায়েলের উপর কর্মকর্তা ও বিচারকরূপে মন্দিরের কাজ বাদ দিয়ে অন্যান্য কাজগুলি করার দায়িত্ব দেওয়া হল।

Of the Izharite, Chenaniah and his sons [are] for the outward work over Israel, for officers and for judges.

30 হিব্রোণীয়দের মধ্যে থেকে: হশবিয় ও তাঁর আত্মীয়রা—এক হাজার সাতশো যোগ্যতাসম্পন্ন পুরুষ—ইস্রায়েল দেশে জর্ডন নদীর পশ্চিম পারে, সদাপ্রভুর সব কাজ করার ও রাজার সেবা করার দায়িত্ব পেয়েছিলেন।

Of the Hebronite, Hashabiah and his brethren, sons of valour, a thousand and seven hundred, [are] over the inspection of Israel, beyond the Jordan westward, for all the work of Jehovah, and for the service of the king.

31 হিব্রোণীয়দের ক্ষেত্রে, তাদের বংশতালিকা অনুসারে যিরিয়ই ছিলেন তাদের নেতা। দাউদের রাজত্বকালের চল্লিশতম বছরে বংশতালিকা ধরে এক অনুসন্ধান চালানো হল, এবং গিলিয়দের যাসেরে হিব্রোণীয়দের মধ্যে বেশ কয়েকজন যোগ্য পুরুষের খোঁজ পাওয়া গেল।

Of the Hebronite, Jerijah [is] the head, of the Hebronite, according to his generations, for the fathers — in the fortieth year of the reign of David they have been sought out, and there are found among them mighty ones of valour, in Jazer of Gilead —

32 যিরিয়ের এমন দুই হাজার সাতশো আত্মীয়স্বজন ছিলেন, যারা যোগ্যতাসম্পন্ন পুরুষ ও বিভিন্ন বংশের কর্তাব্যক্তিও ছিলেন, এবং রাজা দাউদ ঈশ্বরসংক্রান্ত ও রাজকার্যের উপযোগী প্রত্যেকটি বিষয়ে রূবেণীয়দের, গাদীয়দের ও মনঃশির অর্ধেক বংশের উপরে তত্ত্বাবধায়করূপে তাদের নিযুক্ত করে দিলেন।

and his brethren, sons of valour, two thousand and seven hundred, [are] heads of the fathers, and king David appointeth them over the Reubenite, and the Gadite, and the half of the tribe of Manasseh, for every matter of God and matter of the king.
