বংশাবলির প্রথম খণ্ড 16
1 ঈশ্বরের নিয়ম-সিন্দুকটি রাখার জন্য দাউদ যে তাঁবুটি খাটিয়েছিলেন, তারা সেটি সেই তাঁবুর মধ্যে এনে রেখেছিল, এবং তারা ঈশ্বরের সামনে হোমবলি ও মঙ্গলার্থক-নৈবেদ্য উৎসর্গ করল।
So they brought in the ark of God, and placed it in the midst of the tent, which David had pitched for it, —and they brought near ascending-sacrifices and peace-offerings, before God.
2 দাউদ হোমবলি ও মঙ্গলার্থক-নৈবেদ্য উৎসর্গ করার পর সদাপ্রভুর নামে প্রজাদের আশীর্বাদ করলেন।
And, when David had made an end of offering the ascending-sacrifices, and the peace-offerings, he blessed the people, in the name of Yahweh.
3 পরে তিনি প্রত্যেক ইস্রায়েলী পুরুষ ও মহিলাকে একটি করে রুটি, একটি করে খেজুরের ও কিশমিশের পিঠে দিলেন।
And he apportioned, to every one of Israel, both man and woman, —to every one, a loaf of bread, and a sweet drink, and a raisin cake.
4 লেবীয়দের মধ্যে কয়েকজনকে তিনি সদাপ্রভুর নিয়ম-সিন্দুকের সামনে পরিচর্যা করার, ইস্রায়েলের ঈশ্বর সদাপ্রভুর গুণকীর্তন করার, তাঁকে ধন্যবাদ জানানোর, ও তাঁর প্রশংসা করার জন্য নিযুক্ত করলেন:
And he placed before the ark of Yahweh certain of the Levites, as attendants, —and to celebrate, and to give thanks and render praise, unto Yahweh, God of Israel;
5 তাদের মধ্যে প্রধান ছিলেন আসফ, পদমর্যাদায় তাঁর অধঃস্তন ছিলেন সখরিয়, পরে ছিলেন যাশীয়েল, শমীরামোৎ, যিহীয়েল, মত্তিথিয়, ইলীয়াব, বনায়, ওবেদ-ইদোম ও যিয়ীয়েল। তাদের খঞ্জনি ও বীণা বাজাতে হত, আসফকে সুরবাহারে ঝংকার তুলতে হত,
Asaph the chief, and, second to him, Zechariah, —Jeiel, and Shemiramoth, and Jehiel, and Mattithiah, and Eliab, and Benaiah, and Obed-edom, and Jeiel, with instruments of harps, and with lyres, and Asaph with cymbals, sounding aloud:
6 এবং যাজক বনায় ও যহসীয়েলকে পর্যায়ক্রমে ঈশ্বরের নিয়ম-সিন্দুকের সামনে শিঙা বাজাতে হত।
and Benaiah and Jahaziel, the priests, —with trumpets continually, before the ark of the covenant of God.
7 সেদিন দাউদ এইভাবে সদাপ্রভুর উদ্দেশে প্রশংসা জানানোর জন্য প্রথমেই আসফ ও তাঁর সঙ্গীসাথীদের নিযুক্ত করলেন:
On that day, then, David gave [these songs] in chief, to give thanks unto Yahweh, —through Asaph, and his brethren: —
8 সদাপ্রভুর প্রশংসা করো, তাঁর নাম ঘোষণা করো; জাতিদের জানাও তিনি কী করেছেন।
Give ye thanks to Yahweh, Call upon his name, Make known among the peoples, his doings;
9 তাঁর উদ্দেশে গান গাও, তাঁর উদ্দেশে প্রশংসাগীত গাও; তাঁর সুন্দর সুন্দর সব কাজের কথা বলো।
Sing ye to him, Make music unto him, Speak ye of all his wonders.
10 তাঁর পবিত্র নামের মহিমা করো; যারা সদাপ্রভুর খোঁজ করে তাদের অন্তর উল্লসিত হোক।
Boast yourselves in his holy name, Joyful be the heart of them who are seeking Yahweh.
11 সদাপ্রভুর ও তাঁর শক্তির দিকে চেয়ে দেখো; সর্বদা তাঁর শ্রীমুখের খোঁজ করো।
Search out Yahweh, and his power, Seek diligently his face, at all times.
12 মনে রেখো তাঁর করা আশ্চর্য কাজগুলি, তাঁর অলৌকিক কার্যাবলি ও তাঁর ঘোষণা করা শাস্তি,
Remember his wonders which he hath done, His splendid deeds, and the just decisions of his mouth.
13 তোমরা তাঁর দাস, হে ইস্রায়েলের বংশধরেরা, তাঁর মনোনীত লোকেরা, হে যাকোবের সন্তানেরা।
O ye seed of Israel his servant, sons of Jacob his chosen ones:
14 তিনিই আমাদের ঈশ্বর সদাপ্রভু; তাঁর বিচার সমগ্র পৃথিবীতে বিরাজমান।
Yahweh himself, is our God, through all the land, are his just decisions.
15 তিনি চিরকাল তাঁর নিয়ম মনে রাখেন, যে প্রতিজ্ঞা তিনি করেছেন, হাজার বংশ পর্যন্ত,
Remember yea to times age-abiding, his covenant, the word he hath commanded, to a thousand generations;
16 যে নিয়ম তিনি অব্রাহামের সাথে স্থাপন করলেন, যে শপথ তিনি ইস্হাকের কাছে করলেন।
Which he solemnised with Abraham, and his oath, to Isaac;
17 তা তিনি যাকোবের কাছে এক বিধানরূপে সুনিশ্চিত করলেন, ইস্রায়েলের কাছে করলেন এক চিরস্থায়ী নিয়মরূপে:
And confirmed it, unto Jacob, for a statute, unto Israel, as a covenant age-abiding:
18 “তোমাকেই আমি সেই কনান দেশ দেব সেটিই হবে তোমার উত্তরাধিকারের অংশ।”
Saying, To thee, will I give the land of Canaan, as your inherited portion:
19 তারা যখন সংখ্যায় ছিল অতি নগণ্য, সত্যিই নগণ্য, ও সেখানে ছিল তারা বিদেশি,
While, as yet, ye were men who could be counted, a very few, and sojourners therein:
20 তারা এক জাতি থেকে অন্য জাতির মধ্যে, এক রাজ্য থেকে অন্য রাজ্যে ঘুরে বেড়ালো।
And they wandered from nation to nation, and from one kingdom, to another people:
21 তিনি কাউকে তাদের উপর অত্যাচার করতে দেননি; তাদের সুবিধার্থে তিনি রাজাদের তিরস্কার করলেন:
He suffered no man to oppress them, And reproved—for their sakes—kings!
22 “আমার অভিষিক্ত জনেদের স্পর্শ কোরো না; আমার ভাববাদীদের কোনও ক্ষতি কোরো না।”
Ye may not touch mine Anointed ones, And, to my Prophets, may ye do no wrong.
23 হে সমস্ত পৃথিবী, সদাপ্রভুর উদ্দেশে গান গাও; দিনের পর দিন তাঁর পরিত্রাণ ঘোষণা করো।
Sing to Yahweh, all the earth, Tell the tidings, from day to day, of his salvation:
24 সমস্ত জাতির মধ্যে তাঁর মহিমা আর সব লোকের মাঝে তাঁর বিস্ময়কর কাজের কথা প্রচার করো।
Recount, among the nations, his glory, among all the peoples, his wonders.
25 সদাপ্রভু মহান এবং সর্বোচ্চ প্রশংসার যোগ্য; সব দেবতার উপরে তিনি সম্ভ্রমের যোগ্য।
For great is Yahweh, and worthy to be mightily praised, and to be revered is he above all gods;
26 কারণ, জাতিগণের সমস্ত দেবতা কেবল প্রতিমা মাত্র, কিন্তু সদাপ্রভু আকাশমণ্ডল সৃষ্টি করেছেন।
For, all the gods of the peoples, are things of nought, but, Yahweh, made, the heavens.
27 তাঁর সামনে রয়েছে সমারোহ ও প্রতাপ; শক্তি ও আনন্দ রয়েছে তাঁর বাসস্থানে।
Praise and majesty, are before him, Strength and joy, are in his dwelling-place.
28 জাতিগণের সমস্ত কুল সদাপ্রভুকে স্বীকার করো, স্বীকার করো যে সদাপ্রভু মহিমান্বিত ও পরাক্রমী।
Give to Yahweh, ye families of the peoples, Give to Yahweh, glory and strength:
29 সদাপ্রভুকে তাঁর যোগ্য মহিমায় মহিমান্বিত করো! নৈবেদ্য সাজিয়ে তাঁর প্রাঙ্গণে প্রবেশ করো। তাঁর পবিত্র শোভায় সদাপ্রভুর আরাধনা করো।
Give to Yahweh, the glory of his name, —Bring ye a present, and enter before him, Bow down to Yahweh, in the adornment of holiness:
30 সমস্ত পৃথিবী, তাঁর সামনে কম্পিত হও! পৃথিবী দৃঢ়ভাবে প্রতিষ্ঠিত, তা বিচলিত হবে না।
Tremble at his presence, all the earth, But the world, shall be established, it shall not be shaken.
31 আকাশমণ্ডল আনন্দ করুক, পৃথিবী উল্লসিত হোক; জাতিদের মধ্যে তারা বলুক, “সদাপ্রভু রাজত্ব করেন!”
Let the heavens rejoice, and the earth exult, Let them say among the nations, Yahweh, hath become king!
32 সমুদ্র ও সেখানকার সবকিছু গর্জন করুক; ক্ষেতখামার ও সেখানকার সবকিছু আনন্দ করুক!
Let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof, Let the field leap for joy, and all that is therein:
33 জঙ্গলের সকল গাছ আনন্দ সংগীত করুক, সদাপ্রভুর সামনে তারা আনন্দে গান করুক, কারণ তিনি পৃথিবীর বিচার করতে আসছেন।
Then, shall shout in triumph, the trees of the forest, before Yahweh, for he is coming, to judge the earth.
34 সদাপ্রভুর ধন্যবাদ করো, কারণ তিনি মঙ্গলময়; তাঁর দয়া অনন্তকালস্থায়ী।
Give ye thanks unto Yahweh, For he is good, For, age-abiding, is his lovingkindness.
35 চিৎকার করে বলো, “হে আমাদের ত্রাণকর্তা ঈশ্বর, আমাদের উদ্ধার করো; আমাদের সংগ্রহ করো ও জাতিদের হাত থেকে রক্ষা করো, যেন আমরা তোমার পবিত্র নামের ধন্যবাদ করতে পারি, ও তোমার প্রশংসায় মহিমা করতে পারি।”
And say ye, Save us, O God of our salvation, and gather us and deliver us, from among the nations, —that we may give thanks unto thy holy name, that we may triumph aloud in thy praise.
36 ইস্রায়েলের ঈশ্বর সদাপ্রভুর প্রশংসা হোক, অনাদিকাল থেকে অনন্তকাল পর্যন্ত। তখন সব লোকে বলে উঠেছিল “আমেন” ও “সদাপ্রভুর প্রশংসা হোক।”
Blessed be Yahweh, God of Israel, from one age even to another age. Then said all the people, Amen, And gave praise to Yahweh.
37 প্রতিদিনের চাহিদানুসারে পর্যায়ক্রমে সদাপ্রভুর নিয়ম-সিন্দুকটির সামনে পরিচর্যা করার জন্য দাউদ সেখানে আসফ ও তাঁর সহকর্মীদের ছেড়ে গেলেন।
So he left there, before the ark of the covenant of Yahweh, Asaph and his brethren, —to be in attendance before the ark continually, for the duty of a day on its day;
38 এছাড়াও তাদের সাথে পরিচর্যা করার জন্য তিনি ওবেদ-ইদোম ও তাঁর 68 জন সহকর্মীকেও ছেড়ে গেলেন। যিদূথূনের ছেলে ওবেদ-ইদোম, ও হোষাও দ্বাররক্ষী ছিলেন।
and Obed-edom with his brethren, sixty-eight, —and Obed-edom son of Jedithun and Hosah to be doorkeepers;
39 গিবিয়োনে আরাধনার উঁচু স্থানটিতে সদাপ্রভুর সমাগম তাঁবুর সামনে দাউদ যাজক সাদোক ও তাঁর সহকর্মী যাজকদের ছেড়ে গেলেন
and Zadok the priest, and his brethren the priests, before the habitation of Yahweh, —in the high place that was in Gibeon:
40 যেন তারা পর্যায়ক্রমে, সকাল-সন্ধ্যায় সদাপ্রভু ইস্রায়েলকে যে বিধানপুস্তক দিলেন তাতে লেখা যাবতীয় নিয়মানুসারে হোমবলির বেদিতে সদাপ্রভুর উদ্দেশে হোমবলি উপস্থিত করতে পারেন।
to offer ascending-sacrifices unto Yahweh, upon the altar of ascending-sacrifice, —continually, morning and evening, —even according to all that is written in the law of Yahweh, which he commanded concerning Israel;
41 হেমন ও যিদূথূন এবং “তাঁর প্রেম নিত্যস্থায়ী,” এই বলে সদাপ্রভুকে ধন্যবাদ জানানোর জন্য নাম ধরে ধরে যাদের মনোনীত করা হল ও দায়িত্ব দেওয়া হল, অবশিষ্ট সেই লোকজনও তাদের সাথে ছিলেন।
and, with them, Heman and Jeduthun, and the rest of the chosen ones, who were distinguished by name, —to give thanks unto Yahweh, For, age-abiding, is his lovingkindness!
42 হেমন ও যিদূথূনকে দায়িত্ব দেওয়া হল যেন তারা শিঙা ও সুরবাহার বাজান এবং পবিত্র গানের সাথে সাথে অন্যান্য বাজনাও বাজান। যিদূথূনের ছেলেরা সদাপ্রভুর মন্দিরের দরজায় মোতায়েন ছিল।
And, with them, Heman and Jeduthun, [with] the trumpets, and the cymbals, for sounding aloud, and the instruments for the songs of God, —and the sons of Jeduthun, for the gate.
43 পরে লোকেরা সবাই নিজের নিজের ঘরে ফিরে গেল, এবং দাউদও তাঁর পরিবার-পরিজনদের আশীর্বাদ করার জন্য ঘরে ফিরে গেলেন।
And all the people departed, every man to his house, —and David went round, to bless his own household.
