These [were] they who they passed over the Jordan in the month first and it [was] overflowing over all (banks its *Q(K)*) and they put to flight all the valleys to the east and to the west.

And they came some of [the] descendants of Benjamin and Judah to to the fortress to David.

17 দাউদ তাদের সাথে দেখা করার জন্য বাইরে বেরিয়ে গিয়ে তাদের বললেন, “তোমরা যদি আমায় সাহায্য করার জন্য শান্তিপূর্বক আমার কাছে এসে থাকো, তবে আমি তোমাদের আমার কাছে রাখতে প্রস্তুত আছি। কিন্তু আমার হাত হিংসাশ্রয়িতা থেকে মুক্ত থাকা সত্ত্বেও যদি তোমরা বিশ্বাসঘাতকতা করে আমাকে শত্রুদের হাতে সমর্পণ করার জন্য এসে থাকো, তবে আমার পূর্বপুরুষদের ঈশ্বরই যেন তা দেখেন ও তোমাদের বিচার করলেন।”

And he went out David before them and he answered and he said to them if to peace you have come to me to help me it will belong to me towards you a heart for unity and if to betray me to foes my with not violence in hands my may he see [the] God of ancestors our and may he judge.

18 তখন সেই ত্রিশজনের প্রধান অমাসয়ের উপর ঈশ্বরের আত্মা নেমে এলেন, এবং তিনি বলে উঠলেন: “হে দাউদ, আমরা আপনারই লোক! হে যিশয়ের ছেলে, আমরা আপনার সাথেই আছি! মঙ্গল হোক, আপনার মঙ্গল হোক, আর যারা আপনাকে সাহায্য করে, তাদেরও মঙ্গল হোক, কারণ আপনার ঈশ্বরই আপনাকে সাহায্য করবেন।” অতএব দাউদ তাদের অভ্যর্থনা জানিয়ে তাদের তাঁর আক্রমণকারী দলের নেতা করে দিলেন।

And these [are] [the] numbers of [the] chiefs of the [man] equipped for war [who] they came to David Hebron towards to turn over [the] kingdom of Saul to him according to [the] mouth of Yahweh.

[the] descendants of Judah bearers of shield and spear six thousand and eight hundred [men] equipped of war.

Of [the] descendants of Simeon mighty [men] of strength for war seven thousand and one hundred.

Of [the] descendants of the Levite[s] four thousand and six hundred.

And Jehoiada [was] the leader of Aaron and [were] with him three thousand and seven hundred.

And Zadok a young man mighty of strength and [the] house of father his commanders twenty and two.

29 শৌলের বংশ, সেই বিন্যামীন বংশ থেকে: 3,000 জন, যে বংশের অধিকাংশ লোক তখনও পর্যন্ত শৌলের পরিবারের প্রতি অনুগতই থেকে গেল;

And of [the] descendants of Benjamin [the] relatives of Saul three thousand and until now greater part their [were] keeping [the] duty of [the] house of Saul.

30 ইফ্রয়িম বংশ থেকে, সেইসব সাহসী যোদ্ধা, যারা তাদের বংশে বিখ্যাত ছিল: 20,800 জন;

And of [the] descendants of Ephraim twenty thousand and eight hundred mighty [men] of strength men of names of [the] house of ancestors their.

And from [the] other side of the Jordan of the Reubenite[s] and the Gadite[s] and [the] half of - [the] tribe of Manasseh with all weapons of war of battle one hundred and twenty thousand.

All these [were] men of war helpers of a battle line with a heart complete they came Hebron towards to make king David over all Israel and also all [the] remainder of Israel a heart one to make king David.

39 এইসব লোকজন তিন দিন দাউদের সঙ্গে থেকে ভোজনপান করল, কারণ তাদের পরিবারগুলিই তাদের জন্য ভোজনপানের আয়োজন করল।

And they were there with David days three eating and drinking for they had prepared for them relatives their.

And also the [people] near to them to Issachar and Zebulun and Naphtali [were] bringing food on donkeys and on camels and on mules - and on ox[en] food flour fig cakes and bunches of raisins and wine and oil and ox[en] and sheep to abundance for joy [was] in Israel.
