সখরিয় ভাববাদীর বই 5
And I again lifted up my eyes, and looked, and behold there was a flying roll[-book].
2 ২ সেই স্বর্গদূত আমাকে বললেন, “তুমি কি দেখতে পাচ্ছ?” আমি উত্তর দিলাম, “আমি একটা উড়ন্ত বই দেখতে পাচ্ছি যা কুড়ি হাত লম্বা ও দশ হাত চওড়া।”
And he said unto me, What seest thou? And I answered, I see a flying roll, its length is twenty cubits, and its breadth ten cubits.
3 ৩ তখন তিনি আমাকে বললেন, “এটা সেই অভিশাপ যা সমস্ত দেশের উপরে প্রকাশিত হবে। তার একদিকের লেখা কথা অনুযায়ী এখন থেকে সব চোরদের উচ্ছিন্ন করা হবে এবং অন্য দিকের কথা অনুযায়ী মিথ্যা শপথকারীদেরও উচ্ছিন্ন করা হবে।
Then said he unto me, This is the curse that goeth forth over the face of all the earth; for every one that stealeth as it is on this side shall be in an equal degree entirely destroyed, as also every one that sweareth [falsely] as it is on that side shall be likewise entirely destroyed.
4 ৪ বাহিনীদের সদাপ্রভু ঘোষণা করেন, আমি সেই অভিশাপ পাঠাব আর তা চোরের ঘরে ও যে আমার নামে মিথ্যা শপথ করেছে তার ঘরে গিয়ে ঢুকবে ও এটি তার ঘরেই থাকবে এবং সেই ঘরের কাঠ ও পাথর ধ্বংস করবে।”
I bring it forth, saith the Lord of hosts, and it shall enter into the house of the thief, and into the house of him that sweareth falsely by my name: and it shall remain in the midst of his house, and shall consume it with its timber and its stones.
5 ৫ তখন যে স্বর্গদূত আমার সঙ্গে কথা বলছিলেন, বাইরে গেলেন এবং আমাকে বললেন, “তুমি উপরে তাকিয়ে দেখ কি আসছে!”
Then went forth the angel that spoke with me, and said unto me, Do but lift up thy eyes, and see what is this that goeth forth.
And I said, What is it? And he said, This is an ephah that goeth forth. He said moreover, This is their appearance through all the earth.
And, behold, there was lifted up a heavy [cover] of lead: and there was a certain woman sitting in the midst of the ephah.
8 ৮ সেই স্বর্গদূত বললেন, “এ হল মন্দতা।” এবং তিনি তাকে আবার সেই ঝুড়ির মধ্যে ঠেলে দিলেন এবং তিনি ঝুড়ির মুখে সীসার ঢাকনিটা ছুঁড়ে ফেলে দিলেন।
And he said, This is the wickedness. And he cast her into the midst of the ephah; and he cast the weighty lead cover upon the mouth thereof.
9 ৯ আমি চোখ তুলে দুই জন স্ত্রীলোককে আমার দিকে বাতাসের সঙ্গে উড়ে আসতে দেখলাম, কারণ তাদের ডানা ছিল সারস পাখীর ডানার মত। আর তারা সেই ঝুড়িটাকে আকাশ ও পৃথিবীর মাঝে তুলে নিল।
Then did I lift up my eyes, and looked, and, behold, there came out two women, having the wind in their wings, and they had wings like the wings of a stork: and they lifted up the ephah between the earth and the heaven.
10 ১০ তাই আমি সেই স্বর্গদূত যিনি আমার সঙ্গে কথা বলছিলেন তাঁকে জিজ্ঞাসা করলাম, “ওরা ঝুড়িটাকে কোথায় নিয়ে যাচ্ছে?”
Then said I to the angel that spoke with me, Whither are these bearing away the ephah?
11 ১১ তিনি আমাকে বললেন, “তারা এটার জন্য শিনিয়র দেশে মন্দির তৈরী করতে নিয়ে যাচ্ছে, যেন সেই মন্দির যখন তৈরী হয়ে যাবে, তখন সেই ঝুড়িটাকে সেই ভিত্তির উপরে স্থাপন করা যায়।”
And he said unto me, To build for it a house in the land of Shin'ar: and when this is erected, then will the other be set there upon its own base.
