রোমীয় 15
Now we who are strong ought to bear with the weaknesses of those who are without strength; we ought not to please ourselves.
2 ২ আমাদের প্রত্যেকের উচিত প্রতিবেশীর ভালোর জন্য তাদের গড়ে তোলার জন্য সন্তুষ্ট করার জন্য ভালো কিছু কাজ করা।
Let each of us please his neighbor for his good, to build him up.
3 ৩ কারণ খ্রীষ্টও নিজেকে সন্তুষ্ট করলেন না; কিন্তু এটা ঠিক যেমন লেখা আছে, “যারা তোমাকে তিরস্কার করে, তাদের তিরস্কার আমার উপরে পড়ল।”
For even Christ did not please himself, but as it is written, “The reproaches of those who reproached yoʋ fell on me.”
4 ৪ কারণ পবিত্র শাস্ত্রে আগে যা লেখা হয়েছিল, তা আমাদের শিক্ষা দেবার জন্যই, যাতে সেই শাস্ত্র থেকে আমরা ধৈর্য্য এবং উত্সাহ পেয়ে আমরা আশা পাই।
For everything that was written in former times was written for our instruction, so that through endurance and the encouragement of the Scriptures, we might have hope.
5 ৫ এখন ধৈর্য্যের ও সান্ত্বনার ঈশ্বর তোমাদের এমন মন দিন যাতে তোমরা খ্রীষ্ট যীশুর মত একে অন্যের সঙ্গে তোমরা একমন হও,
Now may the God of endurance and encouragement grant you to have the same mind toward one another, following the example of Christ Jesus,
so that with one accord and one voice you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Therefore receive one another, just as Christ has received you, to the glory of God.
8 ৮ কারণ আমি বলি যে, ঈশ্বরের কথা যে সত্যি তা প্রমাণ করার জন্যই খ্রীষ্ট ছিন্নত্বককারীদের দাস হয়েছিলেন, যেন তিনি পিতৃপুরুষদের দেওয়া প্রতিজ্ঞাগুলি ঠিক করেন,
Now I say that Christ Jesus has become a servant to the circumcised on behalf of the truth of God in order to confirm the promises that were made to the fathers,
9 ৯ এবং অযিহূদীয়রা যেন ঈশ্বরের দয়ার জন্যই তাঁর গৌরব করে। এটা যেমন লেখা আছে, “এই জন্য আমি জাতি সকলের মধ্যে তোমার গৌরব করব এবং তোমার নামে প্রশংসা গান করব।”
so that the Gentiles might glorify God for his mercy. As it is written, “Therefore I will confess yoʋ among the Gentiles; I will sing praise to yoʋr name.”
And again it says, “Rejoice, O Gentiles, with his people.”
And again, “Praise the Lord, all you Gentiles, and extol him, all you peoples.”
12 ১২ আবার যিশাইয় বলেন, “যিশয়ের শিকড় থাকবে এবং অযিহুদিদের উপর রাজত্ব করতে একজন উঠবেন, তাঁরই উপরে অযিহূদীগণ আশা রাখবে।”
And again, Isaiah says, “The root of Jesse will appear, he who arises to rule the Gentiles; in him the Gentiles will hope.”
13 ১৩ আশা দান কারী ঈশ্বর তোমাদের বিশ্বাসের মধ্য দিয়ে আনন্দে এবং শান্তিতে তোমাদের পরিপূর্ণ করুন, যেন পবিত্র আত্মার শক্তিতে তোমাদের মনের আশা উপচে পড়ে।
Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
14 ১৪ আমার ভাইয়েরা, আমি তোমাদের বিষয়ে একথা বিশ্বাস করি যে, তোমাদের মন মঙ্গল ইচ্ছায় পূর্ণ, সব রকম জ্ঞানে পূর্ণ, একে অন্যকে চেতনা দিতেও সমর্থ।
I myself am convinced about you, my brothers, that you yourselves are full of goodness, filled with all knowledge, and able to admonish others.
15 ১৫ কিন্তু কয়েকটা বিষয় তোমাদের মনে করিয়ে দেবার জন্য আমি সাহস করে লিখলাম, কারণ ঈশ্বরের দ্বারা আমাকে এই দান দেওয়া হয়েছে:
But I have written to you rather boldly in part, brothers, by way of reminder, because of the grace that was given to me by God
16 ১৬ আমাকে যেন অযিহূদীয়দের কাছে খ্রীষ্ট যীশুর দাস করে পাঠিয়েছে, ঈশ্বরের সুসমাচারের যাজকদের কাজ করি, যেন অযিহূদীয়রা পবিত্র আত্মাতে পবিত্র হয়ে উপহার হিসাবে গ্রহণযোগ্য হয়।
to be a minister of Jesus Christ to the Gentiles in the priestly service of the gospel of God, so that the Gentiles might become an acceptable offering, sanctified by the Holy Spirit.
Therefore I have a reason for boasting in Christ Jesus in my service to God.
18 ১৮ আমি কোন বিষয়ে কথা বলতে সাহস করব না যা খ্রীষ্ট আমার মধ্য দিয়ে করেননি যেন অযিহূদীয়রা সেই সকল পালন করে।
For I will not dare to speak of anything other than what Christ has accomplished through me to bring about the obedience of the Gentiles, by word and deed,
19 ১৯ তিনি বাক্যে ও কাজে নানা চিহ্নের শক্তিতে ও অদ্ভূত লক্ষণে, পবিত্র আত্মার শক্তিতে; এই ভাবে কাজ করেছেন যে, যিরূশালেম থেকে ইল্লুরিকা দেশ পর্যন্ত চারিদিকে আমি খ্রীষ্টের সুসমাচার প্রচার করেছি।
by the power of signs and wonders, and by the power of the Spirit of God, so that from Jerusalem all the way around to Illyricum, I have fully preached the gospel of Christ.
20 ২০ এবং আমার লক্ষ্য হচ্ছে সুসমাচার প্রচার করা, খ্রীষ্টের নাম যে জায়গায় কখনও বলা হয়নি সেখানে, অন্য লোকের গাঁথা ভিতের উপরে আমাকে যেন গড়ে তুলতে না হয়।
And in this way I aspire to preach the gospel where the name of Christ has not been heard, so that I do not build upon another's foundation,
21 ২১ এটা যেমন লেখা আছে: “যাদের কাছে তাঁর বিষয় বলা হয়নি, তারা দেখতে পাবে এবং যারা শোনে নি, তারা বুঝতে পারবে।”
but as it is written, “Those who were not told about him will see, and those who have not heard will understand.”
That is why I have often been hindered from coming to you.
23 ২৩ কিন্তু এখন এই সব এলাকায় আমার আর কোনো জায়গা নেই এবং অনেক বছর ধরে তোমাদের কাছে আসার জন্য আশা করছি।
But now, since I no longer have a place in these regions, and since I have longed for many years to come to you,
24 ২৪ যখন আমি স্পেনে যাব, আমি আশাকরি যে যাবার দিনের তোমাদের দেখব এবং তোমরা আমাকে এগিয়ে দেবে, পরে আমি তোমাদের সঙ্গে কিছুটা দিন কাটিয়ে আনন্দ করব।
I will come to you when I go to Spain. For I hope to see you when I pass through, and to have you send me on my way there, once I have first enjoyed your company for a while.
But now I am going to Jerusalem to serve the saints.
26 ২৬ কারণ যিরূশালেমের পবিত্রদের মধ্যে যারা গরিব, তাদের জন্য মাকিদনিয়া ও আখায়া দেশীয়রা আনন্দিত হয়ে কিছু সহভাগীতা মূলক দান সংগ্রহ করেছে।
For Macedonia and Achaia have been pleased to make a contribution for the poor among the saints in Jerusalem.
27 ২৭ হ্যাঁ, আনন্দ সহকারে তারা এই কাজ করেছিল সম্ভবত, তারা ওদের কাছে ঋণী আছে। কারণ যখন অযিহূদীয়রা আত্মিক বিষয়ে তাদের সহভাগী হয়েছে, তখন ওরাও সাংসারিক দিক থেকে জিনিস দিয়ে সেবা করবার জন্য ঋণী ছিল।
They were pleased to do so, and indeed they owe it to them. For if the Gentiles have come to share in the spiritual blessings of the Jews, they owe it to the Jews to share with them their material blessings.
28 ২৮ সুতরাং, যখন সেই কাজ সম্পন্ন করেছি এবং ছাপ দিয়ে সেই ফল তাদের দেবার পর, আমি তোমাদের কাছ থেকে স্পেন দেশে যাব।
So when I have finished this task and have sealed to them this fruit, I will set out for Spain and visit you on the way.
And I know that when I come to you, I will come in the fullness of the blessing of the gospel of Christ.
30 ৩০ ভাইয়েরা, এখন আমি তোমাদের কাছে অনুরোধ করি আমাদের প্রভু যীশু খ্রীষ্টের এবং আত্মার ভালবাসায় তোমরা একসঙ্গে আমার জন্য প্রার্থনা কর ঈশ্বরের কাছে।
Now I urge you, brothers, by our Lord Jesus Christ and by the love of the Spirit, to strive together with me in your prayers to God on my behalf.
31 ৩১ আমি যেন যিহূদীয়ার অবাধ্য লোকদের থেকে রক্ষা পাই এবং যিরূশালেমের কাছে আমার যে সেবা তা যেন পবিত্রদের কাছে গ্রহণযোগ্য হয়,
Pray that I may be rescued from those in Judea who refuse to believe and that my ministry to Jerusalem may be acceptable to the saints,
so that I may come to you in joy by the will of God and be refreshed together with you.
May the God of peace be with you all. Amen.
