গীতসংহিতা 96

1 ১ তোমরা সদাপ্রভুুর উদ্দেশ্যে এক নতুন গান গাও; সমস্ত পৃথিবী, সদাপ্রভুুর উদ্দেশ্যে গান গাও।

When the house was built after the Captivity, a Song of David. Sing to the Lord a new song; sing to the Lord, all the earth.

2 ২ সদাপ্রভুুর উদ্দেশ্যে গান গাও। তার নামের ধন্যবাদ কর, দিনের র পর দিন তার পরিত্রান ঘোষণা কর।

Sing to the Lord, bless his name: proclaim his salvation from day to day.

3 ৩ প্রচার কর জাতিদের মধ্যে তার গৌরব, সমস্ত লোক-সমাজে তার আশ্চর্য্য কাজ সকল।

Publish his glory among the Gentiles, his wonderful works among all people.

4 ৪ কারণ সদাপ্রভুু মহান ও অতি কীর্ত্তনীয়, তিনি সমস্ত দেবতা অপেক্ষা ভয়ার্হ।

For the Lord is great, and greatly to be praised: he is terrible above all gods.

5 ৫ কারণ জাতিদের সমস্ত দেবতা অবস্তুমাত্র, কিন্তু সদাপ্রভুু আকাশমণ্ডলের নির্মাতা;

For all the gods of the heathen are devils: but the Lord made the heavens.

6 ৬ প্রভা ও প্রতাপ তার অগ্রবর্ত্তী; শক্তি ও শোভা তার ধর্মধামে বিরাজমান।

Thanksgiving and beauty are before him: holiness and majesty are in his sanctuary.

7 ৭ হে জাতিদের গোষ্ঠী সকল, সদাপ্রভুুর কীর্ত্তন কর, সদাপ্রভুুর গৌরব ও শক্তি কীর্ত্তন কর।

Bring to the Lord, ye families of the Gentiles, bring to the Lord glory and honour.

8 ৮ সদাপ্রভুুর নামের গৌরব কীর্ত্তন কর, নৈবেদ্য সঙ্গে নিয়ে তার প্রাঙ্গণে এস।

Bring to the Lord the glory [becoming] his name: take offerings, and go into his courts.

9 ৯ পবিত্র সভায় সদাপ্রভুুকে প্রণিপাত কর; সমস্ত পৃথিবী। তার সামনে কম্পমান হও।

Worship the Lord in his holy court: let all the earth tremble before him.

10 ১০ জাতিদের মধ্যে বলো “সদাপ্রভুু রাজত্ব করেন,” জগৎপৃথিবী ও প্রতিষ্ঠিত; একে কাঁপানো যাবে না; তিনি ন্যায়ে জাতিদের বিচার করবেন।

Say among the heathen, The Lord reigns: for he has established the world so that it shall not be moved: he shall judge the people in righteousness.

11 ১১ আকাশমণ্ডল আনন্দ করুক, পৃথিবী উল্লাসিত হোক; সমুদ্র ও তার মধ্যের সকলই গর্জন করুক;

Let the heavens rejoice, and the earth exult; let the sea be moved, and the fullness of it.

12 ১২ ভূমি ও সেখানকার সকলই উল্লাসিত হোক; তখন বনের সমস্ত গাছপালা আনন্দে গান করবে;

The plains shall rejoice, and all things in them: then shall all the trees of the wood exult before the presence of the Lord:

13 ১৩ সদাপ্রভুুর সামনেই করবে, কারণ তিনি আসছেন, তিনি পৃথিবীর বিচার করতে আসছেন, তিনি ধর্মশীলতায় জগতের বিচার করবেন, নিজের বিশ্বস্ততায় জাতিদের বিচার করবেন

for he comes, for he comes to judge the earth; he shall judge the world in righteousness, and the people with his truth.
