গীতসংহিতা 87

1 ১ কোরহ-সন্তানদের গান। একটি গান। প্রভুর শহর পবিত্র পর্বত শ্রেনীতে অবস্থিত।

The city that Yahweh established is on his sacred hill.

2 ২ সদাপ্রভুু সিয়োনের সব দ্বার গুলো ভালোবাসেন, যাকোবের সমস্ত তাঁবুর চেয়েও ভালোবাসেন।

He loves that city, Jerusalem, more than he loves any other city in Israel.

3 ৩ হে ঈশ্বরের শহর, তোমার বিষয়ে নানান গৌরবের কথা বলা হয়।

[You people in] [APO] the city that God (owns/lives in), people say wonderful things about your city.

4 ৪ যারা আমাকে জানে, তাদের মধ্যে আমি রাহবের ও ব্যাবিলনের উল্লেখ করব; দেখ, পলেস্তীয়া, সোর ও কুশ; এই লোক সেখানে জন্মেছে,

[Some of those who know about God are the people of] Egypt and Babylonia, and also [the people of] Philistia and Tyre and Ethiopia; [some day they all] will say, “[Although I was not born in Jerusalem], [because I belong to Yahweh, it is as though] I was born there.”

5 ৫ আর সিয়োনের বিষয়ে বলা হবে, এই ব্যক্তি এবং ঐ ব্যক্তি ওর মধ্যে জন্মেছে এবং সর্বশক্তিমান মহান ঈশ্বর তা অটল করবেন।

And concerning Jerusalem, people will say [“It is as though] everyone was born there, and Almighty God will cause that city to remain strong/safe/secure.”

6 ৬ সদাপ্রভুু যখন জাতিদের নাম লেখেন, তখন গণনা করলেন, “এই ব্যক্তি সেখানে জন্মাল,”

Yahweh will write a list of [the names of] the people of various groups [who belong to him], and he will say that [he considers them] all to be citizens of Jerusalem.

7 ৭ গায়কেরা ও যারা নাচ করে তারা বলবে, “আমার সমস্ত জলের ঝর্না তোমার মধ্যেই রয়েছে।”

They will all dance and sing, saying, “Jerusalem is the source of all our blessings.”
