গীতসংহিতা 64

1 ১ প্রধান বাদ্যকরের জন্য। দায়ূদের একটি গীত। ঈশ্বর আমার রব শোন, আমার অভিযোগ শোনো; আমার শত্রুদের ভয় থেকে আমার জীবন রক্ষা কর।

For the Leader. A Psalm of David. Hear my voice, O God, in my complaint; preserve my life from the terror of the enemy.

2 ২ অন্যায়কারীদের গোপন পরিকল্পনা ও অন্যায়কারীদের অপরাধের থেকে আমাকে লুকিয়ে রাখো।

Hide me from the council of evil-doers; from the tumult of the workers of iniquity;

3 ৩ তারা তলোয়ারের মত তাদের জিভ শাণিত করেছে; তারা তাদের তীরগুলোতে তিক্ত কথা বলেছে।

Who have whet their tongue like a sword, and have aimed their arrow, a poisoned word;

4 ৪ যাতে সিদ্ধ লোকের গোপন জায়গা থেকে তারা শিকার করতে পারে; তারা হঠাৎ তাকে শিকার করে, ভয় করে না।

That they may shoot in secret places at the blameless; suddenly do they shoot at him, and fear not.

5 ৫ তারা একটি মন্দ পরিকল্পনায় নিজেদের উৎসাহিত করে; গোপনে ফাঁদ পাতবার জন্য পরামর্শ করে; তারা বলে, “কে আমাদেরকে দেখবে?”

They encourage one another in an evil matter; they converse of laying snares secretly; they ask, who would see them.

6 ৬ তারা পাপিষ্ঠ পরিকল্পনা করে, “তারা বলে আমরা শেষ করেছি,” প্রত্যেকের অন্তর ভাব ও হৃদয় গভীর।

They search out iniquities, they have accomplished a diligent search; even in the inward thought of every one, and the deep heart.

7 ৭ কিন্তু ঈশ্বর তাদেরকে শিকার করবেন, তারা হঠাৎ তীরের দ্বারা আহত হবে।

But God doth shoot at them with an arrow suddenly; thence are their wounds.

8 ৮ তারা হোঁচট খাবে, যেহেতু তাদের নিজস্ব জিভ তাদের বিরুদ্ধে; যত লোক তাদেরকে দেখবে, সকলে মাথা নাড়বে।

So they make their own tongue a stumbling unto themselves; all that see them shake the head.

9 ৯ সব মানুষ ভয় পাবে এবং ঈশ্বরের কাজ ঘোষণা করবে, তারা কি করেছে সে বিষয়ে বিবেচনার সঙ্গে চিন্তা করবে।

And all men fear; and they declare the work of God, and understand His doing.

10 ১০ ধার্মিক লোকেরা সদাপ্রভুুতে আনন্দ করবে এবং তাঁর মধ্যে আশ্রয় নেবে; সমস্ত ন্যায়পরায়ণ হৃদয় তাঁর উপর গর্বিত হবে।

The righteous shall be glad in the LORD, and shall take refuge in Him; and all the upright in heart shall glory.
