গীতসংহিতা 61

1 ১ প্রধান বাদ্যকরের জন্য। তারযুক্ত যন্ত্রে। দায়ূদের একটি গীত। ঈশ্বর, আমার কান্না শোন; আমার প্রার্থনায় মনোনিবেশ কর।

For the Chief Musician; on a stringed instrument. [A Psalm] of David. Hear my cry, O God; attend unto my prayer.

2 ২ আমার হৃদয় আছন্ন হল যখন পৃথিবীর শেষ প্রান্ত থেকে আমি তোমাকে ডাকলাম; আমার তুলনায় উচ্চতর পাথরে আমাকে নিয়ে যাও।

From the end of the earth will I call unto thee, when my heart is overwhelmed: lead me to the rock that is higher than I.

3 ৩ কারণ তুমি আমার জন্য আশ্রয় হয়েছ, শত্রুর থেকে একটি শক্তিশালী দূর্গে।

For thou hast been a refuge for me, a strong tower from the enemy.

4 ৪ আমি চিরকাল তোমার তাঁবুতে বাস করব, আমি তোমার ডানার ভিতরে আশ্রয় নেব। (সেলা)

I will dwell in thy tabernacle for ever: I will take refuge in the covert of thy wings. (Selah)

5 ৫ কারণ ঈশ্বর তুমি, আমার প্রতিজ্ঞা শুনেছ; যারা তোমার নামকে সম্মান করে তাদের উত্তরাধিকার তাদেরকে দিয়েছ।

For thou, O God, hast heard my vows: thou hast given [me] the heritage of those that fear thy name.

6 ৬ তুমি রাজার আয়ু বৃদ্ধি করবে; তার বছর অনেক প্রজন্ম পর্যন্ত থাকবে।

Thou wilt prolong the king’s life: his years shall be as many generations.

7 ৭ তিনি চিরকাল ঈশ্বরের সামনে থাকবেন।

He shall abide before God for ever: O prepare lovingkindness and truth, that they may preserve him.

8 ৮ আমি চিরকাল তোমার নামের প্রশংসা করবো, যাতে আমি প্রতিদিন আমার প্রতিজ্ঞা পালন করতে পারি।

So will I sing praise unto thy name for ever, that I may daily perform my vows.
