1 ১ প্রধান বাদ্যকরের জন্য। দায়ূদের একটি গীত। আমি ধৈর্য্য ধরে সদাপ্রভুু জন্য অপেক্ষা করছিলাম, তিনি আমার কথা এবং আমার আর্তনাদ শুনলেন।
[For the Chief Musician. A Psalm by David.] I waited patiently for Jehovah, and he turned to me, and heard my cry.
2 ২ তিনি আমাকে একটি ভয়ঙ্কর কূপ থেকে, কাদার মধ্যে দিয়ে বাইরে বের করে আনলেন এবং তিনি একটি পাথরের উপর আমার পা রাখলেন ও আমার যাত্রা দৃঢ় করলেন।
He also brought me up out of a pit of tumult, out of the miry clay; and he set my feet on a rock, making my steps secure.
3 ৩ তিনি আমার মুখে নতুন গান দিয়েছেন, আমাদের ঈশ্বরের প্রশংসা হোক; অনেকে তা দেখতে পাবে এবং সম্মান করবে ও সদাপ্রভুুতে বিশ্বাস করবে।
And he has put a new song in my mouth, even praise to our God. Many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in Jehovah.
4 ৪ ধন্য সেই লোক, যে সদাপ্রভুুকে বিশ্বাস করে এবং গর্বিতদের সম্মান করে না অথবা যারা তাঁর কাছ থেকে মিথ্যার দিকে সরে যায়।
Blessed is the man who makes Jehovah his trust, and doesn't respect the proud, nor such as turn aside to lies.
5 ৫ সদাপ্রভুু, আমার ঈশ্বর, তুমি যে সমস্ত আশ্চর্য্য কাজ করেছ তা অনেক এবং আমাদের সম্পর্কে তোমার সমস্ত চিন্তা যা গোনা যাবে না, তোমার তুল্য কেউ নেই; যদি আমি সেই সব কিছু বলতাম ও বর্ণনা করতাম, তবে তা গোনা যেত না।
Many, Jehovah, my God, are the wonderful works which you have done, and your thoughts which are toward us. They can't be declared back to you. If I would declare and speak of them, they are more than can be numbered.
6 ৬ উত্সর্গ বা নৈবেদ্যে তোমার কোন আনন্দ নেই, কিন্তু তুমি আমার কান খুলেছ; তুমি হোমবলী বা পাপের নৈবেদ্য চাও নি।
Sacrifice and offering you did not desire, but a body you prepared for me. Whole burnt offering and sin offering you did not require.
Then I said, "Look, I have come. It is written about me in the scroll of a book;
to do your will, O God, I desired. And your Law is within my heart."
I have proclaimed glad news of righteousness in the great assembly. Look, I will not seal my lips, Jehovah, you know.
10 ১০ আমি তোমার ধার্ম্মিকতা হৃদয়ের মধ্যে গোপন করিনি; তোমার বিশ্বস্ততা এবং তোমার পরিত্রান প্রচার করেছি; আমি তোমার চুক্তির বিশ্বস্ততা বা মহাসমাজের থেকেও তোমার বিশ্বাসযোগ্যতা গোপন করব না।
I have not hidden your righteousness within my heart. I have declared your faithfulness and your salvation. I have not concealed your loving kindness and your truth from the great assembly.
11 ১১ সদাপ্রভুু, দয়া করে আমার কাছ থেকে তোমার করুণা ফিরিয়ে নিও না; তোমার চুক্তির বিশ্বস্ততা এবং তোমার সত্য আমাকে রক্ষা করুক।
Do not withhold your tender mercies from me, Jehovah. Let your loving kindness and your truth continually preserve me.
12 ১২ কারণ অসংখ্য দুষ্টতা আমার চারপাশে আছে; আমার অপরাধ সকল আমাকে ধরেছে; আমি দেখতে পারছি না; আমার মাথার চুলের চেয়েও বেশি এবং আমার হৃদয় আমাকে ছেড়েছে।
For innumerable evils have surrounded me. My iniquities have overtaken me, so that I am not able to look up. They are more than the hairs of my head. My heart has failed me.
Be pleased, Jehovah, to deliver me. Hurry to help me, Jehovah.
14 ১৪ তাদের সবাই লজ্জিত এবং হতাশ হোক, যারা ধ্বংস করার জন্য আমার প্রাণকে অনুসরণ করে, যারা আমাকে আঘাত করে আনন্দ করে, তাদের ফিরে যাক এবং অপমানিত হোক।
Let them be put to shame and confounded together who seek after my soul to destroy it. Let them be turned backward and brought to dishonor who delight in my hurt.
Let them be desolate by reason of their shame that tell me, "Aha. Aha."
16 ১৬ কিন্তু যারা তোমাকে খুঁজবে তারা আনন্দিত হবে এবং তোমার মধ্যে খুশী হবে; যারা তোমার পরিত্রান ভালবাসে তারা যেন ক্রমাগত বলে, “সদাপ্রভুুকে প্রশংসা দাও।”
Let all those who seek you rejoice and be glad in you. Let such as love your salvation say continually, "Let Jehovah be exalted."
17 ১৭ আমি দরিদ্র এবং অভাবগ্রস্ত; কিন্তু প্রভু আমার বিষয় চিন্তা করেন; তুমিই আমাকে সাহায্য কর এবং তুমি আমার উদ্ধার করতে এসেছ; আমার ঈশ্বর, দেরী কর না।
But I am poor and needy. May Jehovah think about me. You are my help and my deliverer. Do not delay, my God.
