গীতসংহিতা 36
1 ১ প্রধান বাদ্যকরের জন্য। সদাপ্রভুুর দাস দায়ূদের একটি গীত। পাপ দুষ্ট লোকের মধ্যে ভাববাণী হিসাবে কথা বলে; তার চোখে ঈশ্বরের কোন ভয় নেই।
To the chief Musician. [A Psalm] of the servant of Jehovah; of David. The transgression of the wicked uttereth within my heart, There is no fear of God before his eyes.
For he flattereth himself in his own eyes, [even] when his iniquity is found to be hateful.
The words of his mouth are wickedness and deceit: he hath left off to be wise, to do good.
4 ৪ যখন সে বিছানায় মিথ্যা কল্পনা করে; তিনি একটি মন্দ পথে দাঁড়িয়ে থাকে; তিনি মন্দকে প্রত্যাখ্যান করে না।
He deviseth wickedness up on his bed; he setteth himself in a way that is not good: he abhorreth not evil.
Jehovah, thy loving-kindness is in the heavens, and thy faithfulness [reacheth] unto the clouds.
6 ৬ তোমার ন্যায়পরায়ণতা সর্বোচ্চ পাহাড়ের মত; তোমার ন্যায়বিচার গভীরতম সমুদ্রের মত। সদাপ্রভুু, তুমি মানবজাতি এবং পশুদের উভয়কেই রক্ষা করে থাক।
Thy righteousness is like the high mountains; thy judgments are a great deep: thou, Jehovah, preservest man and beast.
How precious is thy loving-kindness, O God! So the sons of men take refuge under the shadow of thy wings.
8 ৮ তারা তোমার ঘরে প্রচুর পরিমাণ খাবারের সমৃদ্ধিতে সন্তুষ্ট হবে; তুমি তাদেরকে তোমার মূল্যবান আশীর্বাদের নদী থেকে পান করাবে।
They shall be abundantly satisfied with the fatness of thy house; and thou wilt make them drink of the river of thy pleasures.
For with thee is the fountain of life: in thy light shall we see light.
10 ১০ যারা তোমায় জানে তুমি তাদের চুক্তির বিশ্বস্ততা প্রসারিত কর, তোমার প্রতিরক্ষা সরল হৃদয়দের প্রতি।
Continue thy loving-kindness unto them that know thee, and thy righteousness to the upright in heart;
Let not the foot of pride come against me, and let not the hand of the wicked drive me away.
There are the workers of iniquity fallen: they are cast down, and are not able to rise.
