গীতসংহিতা 14

1 ১ প্রধান বাদ্যকরের জন্য। দায়ূদের একটি গীত। একজন বোকা তার হৃদয়ে বলে, ঈশ্বর নেই। তারা অসৎ এবং জঘন্য পাপ কাজ করেছে; এমন কেউ নেই যে ভাল কাজ করে।

For the Chief Musician. [A Psalm] of David. The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works; there is none that doeth good.

2 ২ সদাপ্রভুু স্বর্গ থেকে মানবসন্তানদের প্রতি দেখেন যে কেউ বুদ্ধির সাথে চলে কিনা, কেউ ঈশ্বরকে খোঁজে কিনা।

The LORD looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, that did seek after God.

3 ৩ সবাই বিপথে গিয়েছে, সবাই কলুষিত হয়েছে; এমন কেউ নেই যে ভাল কাজ করে, কেউ নেই, একজনও নেই।

They are all gone aside; they are together become filthy; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.

4 ৪ যারা অপরাধ করে, তারা কি কিছু জানে না? যেমনভাবে তারা খাবার খায়, ঠিক তেমন তারা আমার লোকদের গ্রাস করে, কিন্তু তারা সদাপ্রভুুকে ডাকেনা?

Have all the workers of iniquity no knowledge? who eat up my people as they eat bread, and call not upon the LORD.

5 ৫ তারা ভয়ের সঙ্গে কাঁপে, কারণ কিন্তু ঈশ্বর ধার্মিক সমাজের সঙ্গে থাকেন!

There were they in great fear: for God is in the generation of the righteous.

6 ৬ তুমি দরিদ্র ব্যক্তিকে লজ্জিত করেছ, যদিও সদাপ্রভুু তাঁর আশ্রয়।

Ye put to shame the counsel of the poor, because the LORD is his refuge.

7 ৭ আঃ! ইস্রায়েলের পরিত্রান সিয়োন থেকে আসবে! সদাপ্রভুু যখন তাঁর লোকেদের বন্দিত্ব থেকে ফিরিয়ে আনবেন, তখন যাকোব আনন্দ করবে এবং ইস্রায়েল আনন্দিত হবে!

Oh that the salvation of Israel were come out of Zion! when the LORD bringeth back the captivity of his people, then shall Jacob rejoice, [and] Israel shall be glad.
