গীতসংহিতা 138

1 ১ দায়ূদের সঙ্গীত। আমি সর্বান্তকরনে তোমাকে ধন্যবাদ দেব; দেবতাদের সামনে তোমার প্রশংসা গান করব।

I will praise you with my whole heart: before the gods will I sing praise to you.

2 ২ আমি তোমার পবিত্র মন্দিরের সামনে মাথা নত করব এবং ধন্যবাদ দেব, তুমি দেখিয়েছ যে তোমার নাম এবং আদেশ হচ্ছে সর্বোচ্চ। তুমি তোমার বাক্য মহিমান্বিত করেছ এবং তোমার নাম সবার ওপর।

I will worship toward your holy temple, and praise your name for your loving kindness and for your truth: for you have magnified your word above all your name.

3 ৩ যে দিন আমি তোমাকে ডাকলাম, তুমি আমাকে উত্তর দিলে, তুমি আমাকে উৎসাহ দিলে এবং আমার আত্মাকে শক্তিশালী করলে।

In the day when I cried you answered me, and strengthened me with strength in my soul.

4 ৪ পৃথিবীর সব রাজা তোমাকে ধন্যবাদ দেবে, সদাপ্রভুু, কারণ তারা তোমার মুখের বাক্য শুনবে।

All the kings of the earth shall praise you, O LORD, when they hear the words of your mouth.

5 ৫ অবশ্যই তারা সদাপ্রভুুর কাজের বিষয় গান করবে, কারণ সদাপ্রভুুর মহিমা মহৎ।

Yes, they shall sing in the ways of the LORD: for great is the glory of the LORD.

6 ৬ যদিও সদাপ্রভুু উঁচুতে, তবুও নিচুদের ওপর যত্ন নেন কিন্তু গর্বিতকে কে দূর থেকে জানেন।

Though the LORD be high, yet has he respect to the lowly: but the proud he knows afar off.

7 ৭ যদিও আমি সঙ্কটের মধ্যে দিয়ে যাই, তবু তুমি আমাকে নিরাপদে রাখবে; তুমি তোমার হাত বিস্তার করবে আমার শত্রুদের রাগের বিরুদ্ধে, তোমার ডান হাত আমাকে বাঁচাবে।

Though I walk in the middle of trouble, you will revive me: you shall stretch forth your hand against the wrath of my enemies, and your right hand shall save me.

8 ৮ সদাপ্রভুু আমার শেষ পর্যন্ত আমার সঙ্গে আছেন; তোমার বিশ্বস্ততার নিয়ম, সদাপ্রভুু, অনন্তকালস্থায়ী; তোমার হাতের কোন কিছুকে পরিত্যাগ কোরোনা।

The LORD will perfect that which concerns me: your mercy, O LORD, endures for ever: forsake not the works of your own hands.
